After many sale calls from the lady Mary, I took their hassle-free phone service trial on 7/16/2014. (I later found out she conveniently forgot to tell me the length of the trial period and they started charging monthly fee during the trial). I received the box on 7/18/2014. After a few tries, I found the call quality was not acceptable. So I called on 8/4/2014 to cancel the trial. Luckily, that was the end of the two-week trial period. The lady answered my call told me another person from cancellation department will contact me shortly. But since I was about to leave for vacation soon, I told them to call me asap. So a man called me back trying to persuade me to have their technical person looking into my problem. I agreed on the condition that he refund my first month”s charge right away and email me the instruction about how to return the box right away, and I will contact their tech person in September after I come back from vacation. So he agreed and he also told me that he postponed my trial ending date to 9/10/14 so that there won”t be more monthly charges. But all that promises didn”t happen. After I came back from vacation, I found out they not only didn”t refund my first month”s charge, but also charged another month”s fee on 8/22/14. AND, I didn”t get the email. So I said, that”s it. I don”t want to do business with this company any more. Then the true nightmare started. I spent hours and hours trying to reach a live person. I even submitted a call back request from their web site, but didn”t get me anywhere. A few times I reached a live person by not selecting “cancellation”, I got “ok, I will make a note and have people from cancellation department call you.” I told them to call back during night time, because I work during the day. But every time, they left a call back number in my answering machine during the time when I was at work. As you can imagine, the call back number never worked. I had to call my credit card company to block this vendor from further charges. On 9/17/2014, I finally reached a customer service rep Hilary, who was the only nice person I encountered. She finally emailed me the return instruction (I subsequently shipped back the box on 9/17/2014) and promised to have a billing person call me back to resolve the charges. The billing lady did call me back, but she was so rude and insisted that they refund my first monthly charge on 8/21/2014. I told her that”s not what”s showing up on my credit card. When I offered to show her my statement if she wanted, she gave me silence. As of now, they are still holding my $50 deposit and two monthly charges, although they have already received my returned box … I regret ever used this company!!!

DO not ever order this company TV services, they have a steal money account system. I booked a contract with them for my parents. When I terminate the services with them, and ask for Refund as check payment since my original credit card which is used for ordering is canceled. The accounting department told me it will take them 3 months to mail me the check for the security deposit money. I do not understand why it has to take so long after they already had my returned TV box. If customer forgot to call for refund after 3 month, I wonder if they will just steal it. Can anyone tell me which US department I can file a complain to against to hold customer security deposit for so long? Thanks in advance.

DON’T USE KYLIN TV!!! STAY AWAY FROM KYLIN TV!!! They have EVERGREEN condition embedded! I called Kylin to cancel my account in Aug 2014, but they said they said that I have prepaid for one-year service, and they can’t refund us any money. The contract will end in Nov 2014. So I said OK if Kylin can’t end the contract now. I can’t do anything but show them my intention to terminate the contract. But this January, I received a letter from them saying that I still owe them money. It turns out that they automatically renewed your contract without getting your verbal or written approval. I already showed them my intention to close the accounts a couple months before. Now they are accusing me that it was my fault that I didn’t call them again in Nov 2014 to tell them close the account. I already asked them to close my account back in Aug 14, they said that they can’t refund my fee and the contract will end in Nov. They did NOT tell me that they will renew my contract automatically again if I don’t call them!!! What a ### service they have!!! I will never use this service ever again. I would NOT recommend any people to use their service!!! I never have this sort experience with other TV service provider. Now I can say Telus and Shaws are much better service providers. They don’t do this ### evergreen (automatic renewal service) things. None of my friends or family members will ever use their service. I would rather pay a premium to Telus and Shaws to avoid this ever renewal contract!!!

I always experience difficulties with the service this year. I had been a customer since 2006. Never thought the service would get worse. However this year whenever I fast forward when viewing, the box just “jump” the screen to the next program and I never got to see the programs I wanted without viewing the advertisements. I never have the patient and time to wait for that 5 to 10 minutes of advertisement of just after 10 minutes of viewing so I gave up. I expressed the frustration to the customer service and they didn”t treat me seriously and refused to refund any fees.

I have ordered KylinTV home phone service 09/18/2014. it was the worst mistake I made.(1): the sale person told this service fee is $15.99 as long as I am in this service, but never say about 2 years contract and $50 deposits. I was so dummy and trust what he did not read the small print in the order email later. (2): the important future that we can have a China call back number was not ready yet. (3): the phone service is bad, people tell voice is bad, they cannot hear me all the time.(4): they don’t the voice message without tell us until I asked again and again about I have not receive any voice message yet. (5): customer or Tech support phone are so hard to get through, I spend a lot time wait and deal with them. Finally, nothing changes, the service has been cancelled after another bad conversation. I was so MAD and don’t want think again at all. it was a week ago. Now I received an email and ask me pay the cancellation fee about $300 and will use collection service. How can this company still in service? Can they keep fraud people. I wish I was careful and research online first before I talked with those sale people. I have subscribed Kylin TV service for 1 year. I found the TV channels they provided were old, low picture quality movies, as they are so call HD TV. I called them to cancel the TV service and I have return the Kylin TV box to them for refund. But Kylin still kept charging my credit card $259.00 for 5 years (Total charge $1, 408.31 plus tax) and they refused to refund to me even I cancel the TV service 4 years ago. Finally, I have to cancel my credit card to stop Kylin drawing money from my account. I can say Kylin company is a pirate company. I advise all viewers don”t trust this company at any cost. By the way, their customer server is very bad. Kylin TV customer support hot line [protected] is a dummy telephone line. There are no representatives to answer your calls. It played robot music all day and hang up on you automatically. Remember to avoid this company, Kylin TV at any cost or they will rob your money.

I have used KylinTV for more then two years. KylinTV phone and TV quality were not good and the connection dropped or disconnected very frequently. The most what I complain is they increased the service fee every year but did not notice me. I found this until I read my credit card bill after a few month late. I purchased KylinTV service and later cancelled the service on 7/23/2009. Kylin service person told me that once they successfully charge my credit card for the last bill (of $33.98) and cancel my account in their system, they will send me an email for instructions on how to return the TV settop box. I received the instruction email on 7/28/2009 and ship back the settop box. Everything looked smooth at this moment, but there is a catch later. Read on… A few weeks later, I received a letter from Kylin’s collection agency named “Saturn Systems” and the letter demanded me to immediately pay $58.98 otherwise they “are committed to use whatever means necessary and proper to secure payment”. On 8/27/2009, I called Kylin about this matter and they admitted that there is an internal billing issue that mistakenly failed to charge the last $33.98 bill which caused the problem. Kylin was able to charge $33.98 after they try it again. On 8/28/2009, I called Kylin again to check if the last payment went well. They acknowledged that they did receive the payment. However when I asked them to restore any damage to my credit scores, and make sure that my credit score won’t be ruined by this error caused by Kylin, they refused to do so. It is rediculus for a company to immediately direct unsuccessful payment to collection agency without trying to contact its customer first! It is also rediculus for a company to refuse a confirmation to its customer that they will try to recover the damage caused by their own fault. I certainly would not recommend kylintv to anyone. Their bad billing process and errors will cost you a credit score dents. Their inconsisitent response in customer service will cost you time and money to deal with.

I returned the IPTV to them in July 2010 and they promised to return refund of $50 upon receipt of IPTV within 2-6 weeks. 9 weeks later, I still did not receive the refund. Today I called and they said it takes another 2-3 weeks. I lost the trust in them. The IPTV has poor signal. We cannot watch the Chinese TV channel. The IT from Kylin TV cannot fix the problem.

I subcribed KYylin TV more than 5 years. Since Sept. 2013, they overcharged me every month. I called or e-mailed them in last 2 months. I can”t get any (even one) response. When I called, they sent me to their voice mail and cut me off. I won”t get any call back. I tried to e-mail their billing and their customer service, still no response. I have to call my bank to stop payments.
