Laura Gutierrez Kiley

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 25 years of experience in the Mental Health Counseling field. I am fully bilingual(English/Spanish) and work with adults, children and their families from various ethnic backgrounds. I have a special interest and expertise in assisting people in their grief process and emotional wounds toward healing and self-confidence. My personal and professional experience in the grief process allows me to be compassionate, and resourceful in assisting people in the movement from’ grief to grace, ‘ acceptance, integration and healing.Expertise in play therapy working with children, adolescents and their families issues of parenting skills, anger management, poor self-esteem, coping skills. Also expertise in bereavement counseling working with people who have lost a loved one, or facing life threatening condition. I integrate various therapeutic approaches to respond to the particular need of my clients.I am also a Certified Music Practitioner utilizing Music to support healing and transitions. I play various musical instruments(harp, flutes guitar and voice) and use them, when relevant as a therapeutic modality, to support emotional and spiritual healing,
