I came to the US for furthering my education and getting experience. I am not a big fan of travelling however; I still needed to complete my education. Because of budget issues, I was not able to get an apartment near the university and my apartment was miles away. Every day I had to take 3 buses just to go there, so obviously, I needed to get a car. As all the unnecessary travel was affecting my grades and I was not able to focus on the class worrying whether I would be able to get the bus or not. I got a car using LendBuzz, I got a 3-year loan from them on the car and I will have to say that it was easy and their service was nice. However, the problems started 6 months after I got the loan.

On the website of LendBuzz, they state that you can pre-pay the loan or make additional payments to pay the loan faster. I got some extra money from my family on my birthday and I saved up some by working part-time. I decided to pay off most of the loan so that I don’t end up wasting my money. I paid them $700 on top of the monthly instalment after consulting with the customer support of LendBuzz. I was quite happy with my decision as I thought it would make things much more hassle-free for me, however, I didn’t know that LendBuzz is going to slay my happiness with their greed. A month later, I checked the status of my loan and the company didn’t process my $700! There was no record of the transaction! I immediately emailed LendBuzz and asked them what the fuck is going on and the customer service rep just told me to “chill out” and don’t worry. He told me that the company would solve this problem under the next 3 days. However, I didn’t get a single call or email from them during that whole week. I contacted them AGAIN the next week and they told me that they will do their best to help me when I told them that I contacted them earlier in the past week, they denied it and told me that there are no complaint registered in their system.

After a month of this drama, LendBuzz told me that they have checked their records and the $700 have been “adjusted” in the instalments. I asked them, “Why isn’t there any difference in the monthly instalment amount or the loan duration?”, and they just ignored my question!

I didn’t think that a company with 5-star ratings on the internet is going to steal money from a student! Please stay away from these people; they are going to ruin your life. I made the mistake of trusting them and I don’t want anyone else to suffer because of this company’s corporate greed. I’m pretty sure that most of their 5-star reviews are fake.
