Lexus International, is only concerned with making excuses for individual dealerships miss treating and lying to customers. Lexus International only response to dealerships not providing quality and guaranteed services ( advertised and warranty) is ” Individual dealerships can refuse providing any “Lexus International advertised guaranteed customers for life service” after the Auto is sold. For example: something as low cost as washing Lexus vehicles or checking tire pressure! Or, tires for life…using any miner thing to say…a customer didn’t service the vehicle…at their dealership. Our first Lexus was in 1992, next 2002, last 2003. We still own the 2002. We sold the 2003 to The dealerships in May 2019. One month later took the 2002 for a complimentry carwash ( Lexus Melbourne FL) and we were told… because we purchased the 2002 at Lexus of Melbourne…they would not wash the vehicle. 2015 Lexus RX350 VIN #: 2T2BK1BA2FC342817 I purchased my RX350 on 11/24/18, however the one I purchased was not the vehicle I was told was available. The one I wanted was sold two days prior and I was never told that till I was at the dealership. Anyways, I purchased a 2015 Lexus RX350 similar to the one I wanted. The vehicle had been a lease, owned by Lexus till we purchased it on 11/24 and it had ~27-8k miles, it also came with a Lexus Certification and 161 point inspection. This made me feel confident in the condition of the vehicle. I had the 30k mile service done on 2/20/19, just prior to us heading to FL to visit my wife father. This was more to confirm my confidence in the vehicle prior to driving it to FL. Service was completed, vehicle was good to go for the trip. In FL, we had a few days of hot humid weather and accordingly ran the AC. A couple days later, we had a book fall between the seat and the console and when we removed it we found it soaked with water and wet. When we checked the carpet under the front seats, they were soaked to the touch. When we got home, I scheduled it for warranty repair on March 6th, since I was told my warranty was good to 2021. It was determined that the heat exchanger drain tube for the AC had been clogged with spider webs causing the water to back up and overflow onto the carpet. I also found out that there is a filter that can and probably should have been placed on the bottom of this tube to prevent the spider webs to begin with. After confronting the Service Consultant and General Manager, I have basically been told that this is not covered by warranty, even though it is a design issue. Based on this, I facing an ~$2, 200 service cost for a vehicle I purchased in November which had a 161 point inspection and was Lexus Certified.. Several points for consideration regarding the repair and who should cover it: > The vehicle was a lease, owned by Lexus prior to my purchase > Vehicle was LEXUS CERTIFIED > Vehicle had a 161 point inspection, which included the cabin filter and AC Statements: > I do not believe this issue only occurred since my purchased on 11/24/18 > The 161 point inspection specifically calls outs inspection the Cabin Filter (which was soaked in our vehicle) and the AC > The vehicle was technically owned by Lexus till we purchased. I think Lexus and/or the dealership should cover some if not all the repair costs and not pass it on to the consumer! This is supported by the fact that there is a filter that can and should be applied to stop this issue! I am looking for some assistance to rectify the issue, make my vehicle whole again and restore my fair in Lexus/Toyota. Beware of leasing from lexus! At the end of my lease I was sent a bill for $1042. I believed this to be high so I called lexus to ask they review this. A week later I spoke to the same rep who said there was no damage to the car and asked me to pay $692 for going over the mileage. I paid it. Then I was sent to collections for the $350 difference. I called lexus right away and no one would take ownership of sending me to collections, basically passed the buck. I was not told who I could talk to about this either. No one offered a solution. Getting an oil change at stevens creek lexus is a nightmare. They are so disrespectful in that they book 8-10 appointments every 20 minutes, so the service is the worst. I am writing this as I have been waiting over 90 minutes for my scheduled oil change. Yes, I made an appointment and still waited and hour and a half (and still not done yet). They should take fewer appointments if it is going to take 90 minutes for each oil change. I also told them about my breaks constantly squeaking and they told me that the brakes in the lexus is squeak normally, but if I want to pay for an upgrade, they will not squeak. I asked if I needed new brakes. They said no, but I need to pay for the upgrade if I want them to stop squeaking. Crazy!

Good morning, My name is sami talge, I am an electrical engineer with double nationalities (french and lebanese) I bought 2 lexus cars nx200t one for me 2015 and one for my daughter 2018 And I believe that this car is the best in this category but unfortunately your customer care in lebanon is very bad that why your classification in europe you are in the best 3 but in lebanon your classification is far behind and this is due to the bad services; the events are as follow: – for a normal revision “change lube oil + breaks, after paying the invoice and been delivered my car I couldn’t stopped my car because they did not evacuate the air from the system this happen in september 2017 I spook to a responsible in the head office without any action – on 10th of february 2018 I went to the head office for my 60000 km revision, even there I was badly surprised for the bad treatment I got, (I have an appointment) I had to wait 90 minutes only to have a list of what to do in my car, and as I was very late for my work so I did the minimum as to change the lube oil and to came back later for the other services, and to my surprise I have to pay for the checking 50$ for a service not done (they call it”checking”), how ever when they delivered to me my car, but without cancelling the alarm of oil change either the did not mention any note on the car maintenance book This is unacceptable even when I ask to speak to someone for my complain no body is available for me, they don’t care

Had an issue with a safety recall. My car required repairs because of a recall issue before I received the recall notice and I paid $375 to have it repaired. To get reimbursed for this has been a nightmare! The first person I talked to said just send the bill, proof that you paid the bill, and the certificate of title for the vehicle. So, I gathered it up and emailed it to them. A week later I get a message left on my phone from “juan”. Juan now wants all sorts of additional paperwork (short of my kids birth certificates) that to me were superfluous. Lexus definitely wants you to buy one of their high-end cars. But, when it comes to keeping customers satisfied, they fall wayyyyyyy short. I will never buy a lexus again!!!

Hi, I am a lexus owner. I own rx350, 2008. My gps suddenly stop working, its not respond when I touch screen. Some time response when I touch heard. So I finger out if I touch heard it will response some time. After some time I got crack on the screen. Then I find out that still my car is under warranty. I brought my car to lexus dealer (hennessy lexus at gwinnett, ga) to check. The man name cj tall me after check every thing, that I have put suction cup on the gps screen to damage this, which is not right. Since its damage by me, will not going to fix by warranty, if I want to fix that then I have to pay $7000 (seven thousand) dollar. Lexus should have better reason to avoid warranty. This is very bad police. I have used about ten different band name car so far. I have never experience that type of service. I bought lexus to have better performance, better service, and better warranty. I am very disappointed. As a user I am not very knowledgeable about the car part and electronics. I am an 81 yr. Old widow and took my car in for the 50, 000 mile check up. My bill was $697.69 which I think was unbelievable. There was nothing wrong with the car. No trouble at all. They even put new wiper blades and replace wiper inserts and wash. I never had a problem with them as I had just bought the car from them with 40, 000 miles and supposedly completely gone over and in new condition. I am writing you because I am being ignored by a large product manufacturer. Lexus/toyota is refusing to hear my claim or even consider my situation on the car. I have not had my claim denied by lexus because they simply will not even consider my issue. I am the owner of a 2004 lexus rx 330 that has a failed engine due to oil sludge. I have always had my vehicle maintained at a lexus dealership and I get the oil changed in a timely manner. My car has 110, 000 miles on it and last sunday the engine failed in the middle of an intersection. It now requires a new engine that is estimated to cost me $3, 600. This incident happened on a sunday (1/9/10) so I had no choice but to use the one towing opportunity that my insurance company gave me to towe my car to a non-lexus/toyota brand dealership. The engine failure was caused by oil sludge. I have always had my car serviced properly and I refused to be denied my right to be heard. Toyota/lexus settled a case for the very same problem in febraury 2007. This settlement effected 7.8 million units model years 1997 to 2003, however I refuse to give up the fight, my car is one generation out of the settlement. I refuse to believe that all issues have been solve the very next year. I want to file a claim for my car. I called lexus and they brushed me off saying that I had to get the car to a dealership and even then they weren’t offering any type of maintenance credit at all. I can’t afford to continue to haul my car all over town to meet the specifications of this company. I want to be reimbursed for the repairs which by all estimates will cost them less than what it will cost them at a dealership. What really upsets me is that clearly this company has had an issue with sludge, I live in atlanta where tempatures have been extremely cold which is a cause of sludge and they won’t help me at all. What legal actions can be taken on my behalf to get me reimbursed? If your office can’t take my case can you refer me to a law office that will take my case here in atlanta? What pieces of documentation do I need to begin building this case? Is it possible for this law office to get in contact with toyota/lexus on my behalf about this? I just want my car fixed and I want them to take responsibility for the product issue that almost cost me my life. I bought a 2009 Lexus 350RX in 2015. I was never warned about the possibility of the dashboard failing, even though Lexus was aware of the problem at the time. I never received a letter regarding an extended warranty. A few months ago, my dashboard started cracking after taking it out of town instead of it being garaged. It is getting worse and worse and actually starting to melt. Lexus will not fix the dashboard, despite it being a known manufacturing defect. I should have been told about this possibility by the Lexus dealership when I got the car. Despite the expiration date of the extended warranty, Lexus should still stand by its product, especially for customers who did not receive notice of this problem. I will never buy another Toyota product again.

I email them asking if them asking if they have a black on black ls 460 and david deason who is the internet sales manager reply and said that he can get it. So, I told him if he get it in to let me know and I would come by to get it. Well, he did and I went down there and presented to him a employee discount program because my brother inlaw work for toyota under tabc in long beach. David deason wasn’t very happy about this and went on to saying that they don’t honor this program anymore. He keep trying to convince me to buy the car 3 thousand more then I should. He rudely toss the discount certificate to us said that we should of let him know that we were going to buy the car under this program and he is no way going to sell me the car. I found an 8 inch area of scuff marks on left lower frame where driver door meets the frame. I took it to dealer as I didn”t want the issue to get any worse and get into the paint. Dealer summed problem up by stating that I scuffed my shoes as I got in vehicle. Ridiculous! My shoes don”t touch the frame of the vehicle as I enter or exit as I am a perfectly capable person with no physical disability. I don”t use that part of vehicle to “hoist” myself into it. The vehicle sits low so that I simply place my right leg in and sit down and swing my left leg in alongside it. Dealer rep says she saw same scratches on 4 of their loaner NX300″s. That means to me that there is a design problem with how the driver door molding contacts the frame. Lexus engineers need to further review this as it seems to happen with a number of NX300″s. I had a life threatening experience in my lexus on thanksgiving day 2006. I was driving with 3 other family members to payson, az from fountain hills, az. Payson is in the mountains at higher elevation. I like to use the cruise control when I am driving any distances. While in heavy traffic going up a mountain grade the car started accelerating itself. The first thing I did was hit the brake, when that did not disengage the cruise or acceleration, I stomped on the brakes with both feet. The vehicle was now accelerating at over 100 mph in heavy traffic, then I finally put the car in low which did finally disengage the cruise and accelerator. This was a very scary event. The following day I immediately took the car in with this complaint to scottsdale lexus service department. I had no doubts that they would immediately take care of this problem. To make a very long and time consuming story short, I was told to drive the car until it happened again. Perhaps the next time I want be able to miss all of the cars that were in my way and could just go over the edge of the mountain. I have spoken to a lot of lexus people and finally decided to drop it until I had time to try and deal with the situation. I own and operate a retail jewelry store and to was getting totally stressed out trying to pursue this service matter during the christmas season, my busiest time of the year.. I did not get a new lexus so I could ber consumed with my time wasted with innumerable phone call and repetition of stories. I put $6000 down on my new lexus lease that is for 3 years and now have a vehicle that I do not feel safe to drive. I certainly would never set the cruise control again. Previous to my lexus I drove a 2004 cadillac escalade with no service problems. Can you imagine what my answer is when people ask me how I like my new lexus. My business was built on service and trust. I certainly do not feel trust when I am told to drive a vehicle until it kills me or I can prove unintended acceleration. I had a similar experience as many previous posters. Wish i”d found this site before I sent money to exotic motors. I trusted their ebay rating which was a huge mistake. Vehicle was advertised in good condition but arrived needing $6, 000 worth of work done just to be safe on the road. Even after all the work, the paint is still in awful condition and the front bumper is bent due to some sort of fender bender, and the nav if messed up. It appears that this car has water damage. I also found the the whole dash unit has been replaced with a newer model year unit. Chances are this car has a lot more miles than the odometer reports, but I can”t prove it. I wrote a nasty letter to rick and to the bbb threatening to sue and heard back from rick quickly. As soon as he was comfortable I was not going to follow through with suite, haven”t heard back since. Something to note: the reason their ebay rating is so high is because they like to talk buyers into making their transaction outside of ebay which I was foolish enough to do. Shame on me. Now I can”t even give them the poor rating they deserve. This establishment is a fraud and should be brought up on charges or shut down. Anyone who reports that they had a good experience or got a good deal may be telling the truth and may feel that way. I”m sure they get in a few decent cars from time to time. That doesn”t change the fact that if the have a wrecked piece of junk that they will lie to you and sell it to you for as much as they can get, then fail to be heard from again. Buyer beware

I had complained a few weeks ago to my local dealer about my lexus es 350 (still under full warranty) transmission.in short, when every I drove up a hill early in the morning, my lexus would accelerate (rpms would suddenly flare up) when driving to work. They could not duplicate the issue because it only happen in the early morning during the first 10 minutes of operation. Looking on the web I found a service warning that the lexus es 350 transmission is known to flare up shifting from 3rd to 4th during the first 10 minutes of starting the car. Only after I took down the service warning (printed it out) to the dealer did they admit the problem. The reason I am taking the time to write this complain is because what happen this morning on my way to the dealer. My lexus es 350 took off on me while driving up a small hill and I couldn”t even stop the care.in short, all 270 horses engaged without me doing anything and the car roared up the hill and almost slammed into another car. Luckily, I had 7 seconds to react. I pushed on the break pedal with both of my legs and pushed the engine off button 20 feet before slamming into another car. I can”t tell you how scared I was. I have never experienced a car taking off on its own. I am lucky to be alive. I immediately drove the car to the lexus dealer and told them to fix it. They gave me a car to drive and told me they would update me on the progress. Be careful if you let your wife drive this car. She would not be strong enough to stop all 270 horses.

I have a 2004 lexus gx470 with 75,000 miles that I purchased new. Last week I was driving home on a side street in brea ca and for no apparent reason I had no brakes. I used the emergency brake to slow and finally stop but could have easily been killed or killed others if this had happened on the freeway. I have been a Lexus own for over 20 years. I have purchased x4 lexus vehicles. one sedan and three GX460. I have heard rumors that the brand was not what it used to be and that its service has suffered as a result. I have been loyal to the brand for many years and always thought I would keep driving a Lexus GX 460 truck. on 10.6.19 my radiator blew while I was driving in the interstate. the vehicle ran hot which resulted in the head gasket blowing. the vehicle engine is designed to shut do=wn when over heated to protect the engine. THis did not occur. My emissions system was being recalled and was to be repaired on 10.13.19. the Emmission system made the engine light be on and I was not alerted that anything was wrong with engine. Cost of new Engine more than $10, 000. Called Lexus Corporate for assistance. They basically told me that it was my problem. They don’t care about loyalty to the brand. They were Cold and Impersonal. I have a truck that is worthless. They wont help me repair. I can’t go buy another Lexus becuase they do not stand behind there product. This is a malfunction of the Engine and recalled Emmission system. I can’t be loyal to a brand that is not loyal to me and stand behind there product. DONE WITH LEXUS!!!

I called for a tow/charge and was told by two representatives that I was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do about it. I had to call AAA instead. I have had 3 out of 4 door lock actuators fail on a 2014 lexus gx460 with 65000 miles. Each replacement is $633 at the dealer. I complained to lexus customer service and was told that since there was no current recall in force or since the car was out of warranty, lexus was unable to refund any repair costs. The first lock failure was at 52000 miles, 2000 miles over the alleged warranty. I would urge any prospective lexus purchaser to heed the warning of inferior door lock actuators.

I just bought the car on Jan this year and the car is slightly more than 10 years now (i.e. 10 years 3 months). The car is working fine except for the interior which I noted the rubber is pealing/dropping off. I’m quite surprise with the poor quality of it as I had drove other cars that are more than 10 years but no such problem at all. This is my first time buying a Lexus and I’m not sure if I will still go for this brand as I was told by the service engineer that this is common for a 10 years car. I purchase a 2008 lexus on april 28, 2015. When I first saw the car couldn”t drive it because it had a flat tire on the driver front side. I went back 3 days later and drove it and took it home. 1 week 1/2 the tire went flat. I put air in it and it continue to keep going flat. I have taken it back several times. One thing the nn police officers checked it out along with the manual and saw the tires were on wrong. The two wide tires were in the front and the small tires in the back. So I took it back and that is all they did was change the tires and the car has been towed there and they have said they don”t know what is wrong with the car. My payment is $612.00 and I can”t drive that car and feel safe and know i”m going to get home or to work without a problem. I have been back and forth with this problem since may and I told them I wanted to trade it out. The salesman lenny mosley lied to his boss. He was suppose to have spoken to him about the car giving me so much trouble but didn”t. The hurtful part is not only did I buy a car but my 2 children bought cars. So I should be happy with car and should have had a good esperience with that dealership. I have spoken to the head saleman and someone name beth in the corporate office and everyone is not getting back to me but yet the policemen said this is a safety hazzard and the tire could blow at anytime. I recently had the pleasure of paying for a complete transmission rebuild on my son’s 2001 rx 300. At first glance, one might say the car is old so what’s the big deal. The transmission is flawed and has inadequate flow for cooling so in the long run it becomes so hot it fails|. A total rebuild with an external fluid cooler was required to cool appropriately|. Customer service declined any help in covering the $4100 cost?. I’ll pursue a little further before reporting to government agency for recall evaluation!. I have 3 lexuses and if I wanted my transmission to fail, I would have bought a chrysler/. My loyalty, if not reciprocated, will move to another more deserving brand’. I will purchase 3 new vehicles in the next 4 years and the revenue lexus loses will exceed any reimbursement”. My son saved his own money and to have a 40 precent repair of a well-cared for and well maintained vehicle is devastating to a young man just getting started and his brand loyalty is in question.

I took my lexus to this dealership and I was not satisfied with the service provided and I expressed my displeasure about my experience and the service manager WES BOLES banned me from bringing my car for service at this dealership because of my complaints. I sent a complaint to the guest lexus programme and they told me the dealership has the right to deny me service. My intent is for this complaint to get to the headquarters in Japan . I do not know if this would go to lexus guest services in the united states as they were of no help. I live in Oklahoma city there is only one dealership in Oklahoma city . If I buy a lexus in Oklahoma city were do I service my car if I have been banned by the service manager?If I have a warranty do I have to drive to another city to get my car fixed? I think this service manager has exceeded his powers. I think the reason he is doing this is because I am a foreigner and he thinks I am beneath him . I would urge the head office to correct this as this man is denying me the opportunity to buy the car I want
