Lipa(Long Island Power was recently taken over by PSEG.Lipa sends letters that your bank returned your check.When you check your bank the say no checks returned. When you do an account history on your account it shows no checks returned. Lipa’s automated system indicate that you made the payment but the payment is not deducted from the balance. LIPAs calls are recorded.The LIPA reps are are suddenly hostil. LIPA has on line a bill payment system. the bill payment system will allow you to make a payment if you enter your atm information.It will not allow you to make payment to the automated system.This appears to be a scam.Donot enter any atm info online.Let Lipa shut you down, then collect transaction histories on your bank accounts, provide a lawyer with these documented facts.This scam taking form seems very elementry.when people fear loss of jobs the set up scams in companies to get cash before they leave.The lipa situation is very strange.I witnessed LIPa’s performance during hurrican sandy.not only did Lipa perform excellent but their presence around the clock kept customers safe.The police was no where to be found. Be very careful. .
