The first thing we do when we are trying to learn any kind of course is to see if that person or institution is accredited or not. This ensures us that we are receiving training from a genuine place. My friend Mona said that she met a guy named Rishi who taught her Yoga and that in just a matter of a week, she could be a teacher herself. I had warned her about crash courses long ago and it also took her a while to realize that this Rishi-guy was a phony and was just googling stuff off the internet and teaching Mona.
Thankfully, she did not sign up for it or put her hard earned money into it. It has become so difficult to believe anything, these days. You have to do a thorough research before you decide to get into anything.
The Loan Consultants, Inc is one place that I came across that seemed a bit phony to me too. These guys apparently train you to get into the mortgage business. They have a high fee structure. I didn’t see any accreditation on the website which means that these guys aren’t the real deal.
You don’t have to pay people to teach you how to get into the mortgage business. One of the best things you can do is get in touch with someone who is in this business and work for them. If you have a basic financial knowledge background then it won’t you too long to understand the ways of this job.
It isn’t rocket science and there are a lot of people approaching the mortgage job like this rather than paying thousands of dollars for some kind of training that you could get for free. In fact, I have an uncle who now lives upstate New York with all the money that he has made. You go talk to him for a couple of days and he can give you information enough for a lifetime. Now, he is one person who has about 30 years of experience in this field and yet he won’t ask you to pay him for all the knowledge he shares with you. I am kidding, but then it is true.
At the most, you could work for a company for a month without pay and then get into the job full-fledged.
Please check the places you plan on spending your money on. Here is the link to their website – http://loanconsultants.com/
I am also not clear if they are a scam or not but if I were you then I would be doing a lot of research on them. Blind faith could create havoc. They have a very fancy website that includes very decorative words to describe what they are into. This can mislead a lot of people into believing you that these guys are absolutely genuine.
Also, they have mentioned to being around since 1983 on their company’s logo. Is there a way to verify this? I wonder if that is the entire truth.
