Loclly.com continues to scam people even though they were heavily fined gy the Governor’s Office of Consumer Protection for the State of Georgia back in October, 2013. There was a restitution program ordered, and all those who had claims up through October 9th, 2013, could pursue resititution. However, there was no recourse for those individuals who ordered product and services AFTER that date. The Georgia Office of Consumer Protection apparently was not aware the company was still soliciting purchases on their web site, or that the web site was even up and operating. I let the agency know this information today, April 7, 2015. I personally was scammed out of $237 for services “purchased” in October, 2014. However, GOOD NEWS. I used my Discover credit card to make the purchase, and Discoer has a ZERO FRAUD TOLERANCE. All it took was a phone call and the funds will be credited back to my account in 2-3 days. So be aware there are recourses if you have been defrauded by this company after October of 2013. .
