So, I’m happily married, and I own a 2016 Ford. I’ve actually been to the Long Beach Collision Center in three occasions for different issues, I’ve had regular experiences with them, they charge a bit too much, but do a good job, and in general, they are very professional. At least that’s what I thought.
I was involved in a car crash about 3 months ago and was able to get out without a single scratch; however, my baby didn’t do so good, it had both front lights broken, and a pronounced bent on the bumper. They were my very first option, so I took my car there, they said it would take only a week and gave me a price a little bit above average. When it was time to pick it up, I was told that they would need to take another week. They didn’t have any loaner left for me to use, and they refused to give me any sort of accommodation for taking longer than expected (they wouldn’t even apologize in the first place), so I was a bit disappointed at them.
These were all minor problems I was willing to let go without putting a bad review out there, but after what happened later, I cannot do that anymore, I’ve put my complaint with the manager, they are supposedly looking into it, but I’m sure nothing will happen on their side, so I’m exercising my right to inform everybody about the things going underground on this place.
I don’t know how that works since I’ve never even heard of such practice before, however, I’ll try to be as detailed as possible, so any girl that comes to this center doesn’t fall for it. First, watch out for Big T, he’s the one doing all the dirty business. He approached me when I went to pick up my car after 2 weeks, he said that they could give me some sort of discount on the price if I was willing to accept. The situation felt really sketchy, but I didn’t want to be rude, so I listened. He talked about how it is important to keep customers happy, and how every last penny we can save is worth an effort. He caught my interest, but somehow, the conversation turned slowly to a dark field. He said that they had a special offer for me, and if I agreed, they could give me more than 40% off the total cost of the repairs. It was obvious he was trying not to tell me directly what the offer was, he was just insinuating things, calling me pretty, saying I had a great body and that kind of things. At that point, I was feeling really uncomfortable, so I rushed my way to the door after a quick no thank you, but he kept walking behind me, saying I was letting go a great opportunity, I was freaking out, and everyone around me seemed to know what was going on, they were avoiding my look and pretending they didn’t know. He didn’t touch me, but he gave me a really hard time and a mild panic attack, I told my husband about it, he’s also taking measures against this people. Watch out for their nasty proposals!
