I worked with the salelady for two months and finally negotiated a price for the move approximately$1,300.00 to move from Tampa to Brooklyn New York. On the day of the move once all the furuniture was packed and loaded in the truck was advised total price would be $2,211.00. They provided one month of free storage delivery date was April 11, 2015 which was not a full month however was charged $150.00 storage for the month was not pro-rated based on the number of days. Movers showed up three hours late after confirming they would be deliverying at 8:00AM they arrived around 11:00 AM. One of my bedroom night stands completely broken has to thrash it, missing kitchen step ladder. Antique dining room table (sentimental value) leg was broken, they failed to advise me noticed after they left and the broken piece was tucked in the table cover. One of the dining room chairs has a broken leg, and another dining room chair the backn is broken, Several LLadro items are broken, several wine glasses are broken in addition to a glass bowl. All boxes were marked glass fragile. Footboard is chipped, wing chair wood is chipped, in addition top step in the house was broken by the movers. I was told they do not use third party vendors which I came to find out was not true. I had moved from Bklyn to Tampa 5 years ago and none of my items were eight broken, damaged or chippped. Very dissatisfied with the quality and service of Long Hall Van Lines moving company. I have submitted a claim for all my articles. Waiting to hear the outcome. .
