A Louisville chiropractor has been charged with sexual assault after the incident where during a massage, he inappropriately fondled a patient, as per the police’s statement.
The incident had taken place on May 22, according to the arrest warrant.
Police’s statement reveal that 44-year-old Brian Dell, a chiropractor, started examining a female patient while she was asleep. The victim woke up during the examination to realize that Dell was fondling her, according to the arrest warrant.
The woman told the police that she was frozen in fear, but Dell still continued to fondle her shamelessly. She had to jump up pretending that she just woke up.
Dell immediately took his hands back and moved to the victim’s neck area, police say.
The victim then asked Dell whether this was or wasn’t a part of the regular massage, according to the warrant.
Police say that Dell responded to victim’s question nervously, saying that it wasn’t usually a part of the regular massage.
Dell made the victim to do some alignments, and then she hurriedly left. After that, she went to her mother’s house and told her the entire incident stating what all happened. She then visited the Norton’s Hospital, and called the police. She was told to visit the University Hospital then.
A report was registered, and an arrest warrant was issued for Dell on Wednesday, June 24. He was found at his home, where he was taken into custody, on Friday afternoon.
Dell has been charged with first degree sexual abuse in this case.
