Although I teach grades k-8 fitness and nutrition all year round, I do not qualify for the instructor discount. I have BA, BS, Masters, and 6th year Degree, still not enough although my curriculum demands that I teach fitness. We participate in fitness Friday weekly and wear fitness attire to encourage our inner city underprivileged children. I think it”s a shame! I”ve emailed customer service and two local stirs in Ct to no avail. I guess discount only applies to instructors who hold certificate whether they activity instruct or not!

Company will not accept return on pants that were barely worn but are not performing well. I received a message that it does not fall under their quality guarantee, but that is untrue. Here is a copy of the email I sent to the returns department: The item was purchased online. As mentioned on the live chat, it is the Groove Bootcut Pant, black, size 8. Item LW5BLs. I am very unhappy with the pants and feel they do not live up to your quality guarantee: Product quality is the foundation we stand on and this foundation is comprised of three key areas: fabric, performance and craftsmanship. If our product doesn’t perform for you, we’ll take it back. I have other pants in the Luxtreme fabric, but these are not of good quality. The description of the pants says they have added Lycra for retention, but the fabric has really stretched out. I find the material feels cheap and thin. It is hardly the “hugged sensation” as mentioned in the description. Also, the waistband is very uncomfortable; it is too narrow and does not live up to the description of “no dig waistband that is soft and lies flat against your skin.” I find it digs into my sides and is not pleasant to wear at all.

Evening. I attended your store in Richmond Centre on October 6, 2017, Friday evening around 7 pm. I had entered the store without any greetings and an enormous attitude from the girls on the floor.in particular, an Indian girl was flipping her ponytail and whipped right by me with a snit on her face. I have been to the other lulu lemons in the lower mainland such as Metrotown, Oakridge and downtown Vancouver and I have never been treated so poorly. As I walked out of the store, I walked passed two girls who were chit chatting with arms folded and not bothering to assist. While I understand hiring these young girls is a part of the operations, their immaturity and lack of respect is discerning and highly uncalled for. Although I live in Richmond, I prefer not to enter this specific Lululemon store. To add, I had heard from many of my friends and family that they experienced the same attitudes, however, I did not believe it until I experienced it myself. There needs to be some serious training / shadowing for your staff to repair the customer service skills that have spun out of control.

Hello, I am very disappointed with my first pair of leggings I have purchased from here. I’ve heard wonders about this brand and finally gave in. I followed the washing instructions and have never dried them and am dissapointed to see that the fabric has started getting ratted with fabric balls and bumps on the inside of the leggings. Hello, I had bought a couple items for my mother for mothers day but my mother wore the item once and there was pilling on the shirt right away. Because there aren”t too many lululemon stores near my area, I revisited the eaton centre location on July 13th to discuss this issue. I didn”t have my receipt because I was told receipts were saved electronically. I had explained my situation to an employee as I walked in and she allowed me to do an exchange for anything in the store. She also mentioned that if the item I chose was less of a value than the item I had bought before, she would return the difference back to my original method of payment. The shirt I had bought was $98 but I could not find anything that I thought my mother would like so I chose a $68 shirt instead. When I returned to the cash desk, I explained my situation again to the cashier. She was extremely rude and condescending. She did not let me finish my sentence and she told me that she would not return any money back to me, but she will issue a gift card. I explained to her that another employee told me a different story but she told me she could not do it for me. She was extremely unhelpful- I asked if she could find the method of payment in her electronic copy and she told me no. I tried to sift through my email to see if I could find the electronic copy and asked if she could recall when mothers day was and she looked straight at me and said “no I don”t”. I had to ask her again to pull out my electronic copy to see when I visited the store. At the end, I was not going to fight over $30 for something I was getting my mother so I picked other things and paid more money. I would have gladly done so if 1) communication was clear between employees because I was told two different things 2) If she treated me with respect and kindly tried to help me resolve this issue. I also work in retail and I know good customer service. Lululemon is a brand that strongly advertises amazing customer service but that is not what I experienced at eaton centre. The fact that I had to revisit the store because the quality of the top I bought was terrible was inconvenient for me to begin with. Instead of apologizing for the trip I had to make again and trying to help me, she was rude and treated me as somebody that was being sketchy and cheap. I did not appreciate this kind of treatment and I won”t be shopping at lululemon for a long time because of that one employee. I would like for the specific employee to be informed about the unpleasant experience that I had to experience at the store so that she is aware of her unprofessional customer service. Hi there. I purchased a pair of your ABC dress pants a while ago (month or so) and finally just realized that the belt loops in the front of the pants don”t like you properly!!! I fear I was sold a defective type of clothing and paying as much as I paid for them I am severely disappointed. I am a proud lululemon owner, I have been in love with the company and it”s products since I bought my first pair of yoga pants at 13. I”ve always felt good knowing I was purchasing quality product, with amazing quality insurance along with amazing customer service. I”ve never had an issue until today, I have a pair of pants, I cannot remember the style as they”ve been discontinued. None the less the ripped on a seam, while in the mall I happened to stop into the store and spoke with an employee who assured me that your policy for quality is that they should not rip and to bring them in and they could help me sort the issue out. Today November 22, 2018, I stopped in at the pop up shop in Willowbrook mall in Langley BC. I was greeted at the door and was at ease as I walked up to the till. I was soon made to feel unheard and dismissed by the person working on till. He questioned when I had bought the pants, and made me feel as though he didn”t believe I had even bought them at lululemon. He was rude when he asked for my information. He rolled his eyes when I said I didn”t remember the style and I was sure they had been discontinued, that they were around three years old. He hummed and hawed and said I”m not sure what these pants are but they are similar to this pant I can give you 60 dollars off of a pair and started to help me pick them out, when I told him that I could not afford a pair today and that I”d like it to be added to my account for the store and I would be in to use it soon, he again made me feel small as though it was an inconvenience for him to do this. I understand people have bad days. But I have never left your store feeling this unheard and belittled before. The other employees I”ve come into contact with from that store have shown nothing but amazing customer service but this employee left a sour taste in my mouth. I bought a lululemon jacket that was pilled and frayed after one wash. When I tried to return it to the store, a refund was denied despite selling me a defective product that could not withstand one handwash. They still had the same jacket on the rack at full price when I attempted to return it. They kept referring back to their return policy that requires tags and a receipt. After much haggling, that this did not fall under the same category since their product was defective, I finally did get a refund. This was after complaints to the BBB, their corporate office, and the store manager. I agree that no one should support Lululemon. There are plenty of other places to get good quality workout clothing (that can withstand one wash) without all the hassle if there is a problem with the product. I know of two other people who have also had problems with their product pilling after one or two wears.

I bought my daughter a pair of leggings from your company and there is now a hole on the inside of the leg where the seam is. I also bought her a pair of your cropped leggings and there is a hole in the back of the butt where the seam is. We paid a lot of money for these products and are disappointed in the quality. I had an issue I had on 09/15 with 2 of my lululemon gift cards. I have the cards physically in my possession and they were registered to my account. When I went into the store on 09/15, they were showing a $0 balance (should’ve been $147.66) and $0.49 balance (should’ve been $214.36). I contacted customer support and was told that they had both been redeemed in store in Toronto. I am located in San Diego, CA and I don’t know anyone in Toronto nor do I have any idea how someone in another country could get ahold of my card numbers and be allowed to use MY gift card codes from physical gift cards on an in-store purchase. This sounds like a protocol issue that shouldn’t be allowed on their part. The customer service associate I spoke to on the phone basically told me that Lululemon was not liable for my balance as this is a theft. If there was a theft, it was on their end and how they handle gift cards. The cards are physically in my possession and were added to my account. Per the fine print on the back of the gift card – “lululemon can’t be responsible for lost, stolen or misused CARDS…” Understood, I have the gift CARDS physically in my possession. The CARDS are not lost, stolen, or misused. The fine print goes on to say – “great news – your BALANCE is protected from LOSS if you register the card with us on your lululemon.com account.” This is where I have an issue. I did exactly that; I registered the cards on my lululemon.com account. Therefore, my BALANCE is protected under their rules. The customer service rep on that I talked to on phone was no help. Lululmeon clearly needs a change in protocol. How can they allow a physical gift card code to be used in store without the card present? Especially when that code is registered to someone else’s account? I truly believe this was either an inside job or their random number generator for their gift card numbers isn’t really random and someone was able to access my gift card numbers on their end.

I have been shopping at lululemon for years. I am originally from Canada and have been teaching gym classes and yoga classes for over 20 years. I have been pleased with all of the gear I have bought until just recently. I wear yoga pants almost everyday when teaching PE. I have had one of the worst customer service experiences ever with Lululemon. I was given a gift card as a gift that was invalid when I tried to use it. It appears it had never been activated. The store where the card was purchased said it was an error but there was nothing they could do unless I could prove I purchased it. How often do you give someone a gift card and a receipt? NEVER! The store admitted if there had been money on it and it was used up it would show a certain message that was different from the invalid card message I was receiving. The store said this meant it had never been activated correctly and they said my best bet was to call customer service. The customer service rep was also able to look up the card and show it had never been activated but he couldn’t just add money to it. A customer service rep and eventually a manager both said too bad there was nothing more they could do. So Lululemon if you would like to make a donation to Lululemon and not receive anything in return go ahead an purchase a gift certificate.in the final email I received I was told they stand behind their employees and their decisions. Great, but a company that does not stand behind their customers is one I will never shop at again.

I just wanted to share an experience with the Lululemon company. They make yoga-pilates-fitness apparel and I would encourage anyone who reads this to please pass it on and to not support this company because they do not support people that buy their products. I received one of their jackets as a birthday gift and unfortunately, it was too small. So I took it in to the local Lululemon store and was told that they would not allow me to exchange the item for one that fit because it had been more than 2 weeks since the time of purchase. Disappointed, I left the store and headed home to call the corporate office with hopes that they would be more reasonable. My experience with their corporate representative was even more frustrating. The guy I talked to actually admitted that he was comfortable knowing that someone had spent close to $100 on a jacket that I will never be able to use because it”s too small. Therefore, I”m just trying to spread the word that lululemon products will make TERRIBLE gifts unless you are 100% sure it will fit who you are buying it for. The representative said he didn”t think they were being unreasonable, but I disagree. Earlier in the day I had returned a paid of sandals to REI that I purchased in October and had no problems. Thank you REI! Another example of a company that knows the meaning of customer service is Patagonia. They not only support the environment by donating a percentage of their profits to environmental organizations, but they support their consumer by always being open to returns or exchanges until you are 100% happy with what you have. What is the most surprising is how they claim to be a company that supports yoga principles, which would include compassion, and yet they did not offer me any such thing. Their stance was that was the policy and too bad that someone spent money on something I cannot use. Lululemon is not the only place to get yoga-pilates-fitness clothes and I would just like to encourage everyone to support companies that support the customer… which means not shopping for or buying lululemon products.

I love my bag however the zipper started falling apart pretty soon after I purchased my bag. Considering it wasn”t that cheap I was hoping for better quality. The bag I bought is YIN TIME BAG (HEAT), it”s very upsetting to see how bad it is getting, the zipper is so bad there are holes in the bag after I zip it and at this point things could come out of it. I made a purchase last Oct 4 2017 at your lululemon store in 408W 14th St NYC and I was charged the regular price for 1 sale item. When I got home I checked the tag versus the reciept and noticed the discrepancy. Attached is the reciept and the tag. I was over charged by $14. Also, i checked online the same item is being sold at $39. I expect at the very least that the $14 be returned to me. I am based in Manila Philippines and was on vacation in New York. I ordered a handful of items. When the package came one if the items was not in the package. So I messaged them and they apologized and said it was a split shipment and my other item was enroute. Three weeks later I still don’t have the item. I notified them via their online chat and simply asked for a refund. They said they had to start an investigation with fedex (who clearly shows I have not received the item) and it will take 4 business days. They have been incredibly unhelpful and downright rude. I don’t want to wait any longer for the item, their investigation policy does nothing for the consumer and they are unwilling to offer any other solutions.

I ordered items online in the amount of at least $300+ last June 25, 2016. I got the email confirmation June 26, 2016 that my items are on it”s way. I tracked the package everyday to make sure that I will have it before we go on vacation. I received the package June 29, 2016 but the package was swapped with someone who lives in Massachusetts. I called customer service and Allie said that she can”t help me with my missing items. I was instructed to either print the return label or a fedex guy will come to my home to pick up the wrong package. I said to her that I am not wasting another minute waiting for someone to pick up the package that Lululemon mistakenly sent to my home address. Allie from Lululemon Vancouver also said that I will have to call all the stores and ask them if they have the items I want and that I have to repurchase it. So I said to her I need to speak to a manager but she kept saying we have no manager here. Someone from our resolution team will call you back within 48 hours. I thought online shopping is suppose to be convenient but she said there is no guarantee until you receive the items you purchase. Wow I guess we all just have to shop at the stores if they cannot guarantee anything you buy online especially if you are going on vacation and you are planning to bring the items with you. Below is a screen shot of the email they sent me. As you can see they were not even apologetic. Please beware of online shopping with Lululemon. There are so many stores with better customer service and much better quality.

I ordered Lock “Em Down Boxer Light 9” from Lululemon. First of all, I would like to say that the item was too overpriced. Second, I didn”t like its quality. Decided to return. Called them to ask what exactly I should do. I found out that the shipping would be at my expense, but the most terrible thing was when the representative started telling me that I have to change my mind, that they rather give me a store credit. I refused. It”s been 4 weeks since I shipped the item back and I got no notification from them. I know they received it. And I also know why they ignore me. Fraudsters always do it.

I purchased a pair of on sale sweatpants for my cousin on 01/22. I didn”t know any return or exchange policy at the time of purchase as a first time customer. But it turns out didn”t work out for my cousin. I went to the Alderwood mall Lululemon on 01/28. The so called manger was not helpful and kept saying “there”s nothing I can do for you”. Not even store credit or exchange for other sale item? I used to be a retail manger. But this customer service is not going to gain me back to the store again for sure.

I recently purchased an order for 126.26. My bank account was then held for an additional 126.26 and 52.43 and will probably be held for the remaining balance, again, holding up a total of THREE TIMES the amount of my order, in a pending status for 3-10 business days. I have contacted customer service twice today with NO resolution. I contacted my bank, who stated lululemon had to simply call to tell them to release the hold. I contacted lululemon again and no one ever replied to my text messages – which was an option your company provided. I don’t know how it’s legal to hold $400 for a $126.26 order, but this is terrible practice, you provided no solution and horrible customer service, and this is unacceptable behavior for a retail purchase.

I returned my 4 month old Wunderunders that had a hole in them and received an e gift card for the cost of the pants. That was fine. Then I went to complete my new order on the website and after 20 minutes of trying, I finally had to start a live chat because the website wouldn’t take my mailing address. The agent on the chat spent a good 30 minutes trying to figure it out. Then to try to apply the e gift card – that took another 30 minutes because the PIN was “too short”, but it was the exact PIN on the e gift card. Because of the inconvenience they gave me free priority shipping, they placed the order and said it would take 2 business days to prep the item and I would get an email saying it was shipped. The email never came and, trust me, I checked my Junk mail too. 5 business days later I called customer service and they asked why I didnt respond to their email. I didnt get an email at all…apparently just as the agent put my order through the item went out of stock and you sent me an email asking what I wanted to do. So the lady on the phone said I would need to wait until the following Tuesday and place the order AGAIN. So I had to go through all of that AGAIN and didnt get priority shipping. Needless to say, I’m NOT impressed with lululemon and will not be purchasing again. The quality of the pants I originally had were crap, even though I loved them, and even though your agents are friendly and helpful your business just plain sucks. Your website isnt user friendly, I wasted WAY too much time trying to place an order that I then wasnt even aware went through. Good thing I ended up calling customer service or I’d still be waiting for my order! How would I rate lululemon out of a 10? Probably a 2.
