I’m writing this report so that any vacation home owners that do Web searches on their tenants – prior to leasing to them – like I do are aware of this indivicual and his family. These folks stayed at our home in APril 2015. We spent time face to face with these people, dropped off a gift basket, and they smiled to our faces. However, the day they checked out and while they were at the home – they discovered some issues with our home. The whole time they were at the home – they did not report any of these issues (lights burnt out, a leaky toilet, and a bed that was damaged by the prior tenant) – all of which we were unaware. During their tenancy they never mentioned any issues with our home, when we went over to the home to fix a remote control that needed batteries – no mention of any issues. A week after they left they posted, without even discussing with us or notifying us of the issues, or that they were going to post a scathing review – and give us at least a chance to respond offer them a refund , etc. – they posted a very negative review. this home has been occurpied by over 500 tenants over 10 years – none have been unhappy – becuase we make it a point to make sure we have an open line of communication with our temants.
