Life involves obstacles and challenges that range from minor to seemingly insurmountable. At times, our outlook and habits make matters worse and lead us to deeply question our identity, damage relationships, and derail our efforts to live full and rewarding lives. Nonetheless, no matter how heavy the burden, I truly believe that we can thrive if given the opportunity and the right support. This is where I can help you. Understanding your culture and individuality also provides context for tackling identity, mood, and relational (romantic, family, work or social) issues. Ultimately, this builds trust and safety as we work collaboratively to clarify and meet your goals.Aside from private practice, I work at Florida International University Counseling & Psychological Services where I provide clinical services and supervise prospective psychologists. In addition to universities, I have also worked in an alternative learning setting with middle and high school students and an adult inpatient psychiatric hospital.
