[protected] I had complaint about SOS TOP since last year and spoke to many of maxis customer service and also to Loga (manager CSD) (if I not mistaken). A few time happens to me, whenever I top up my mobile, maxis will deduct RM8.40 for my outstanding. I quiet surprise even I did not made any request for SOS TOP and the system can deduct my credit. Please review to my complaint which I had made and the latest call was i made on 14.07.2017. I was using this number quiet long and I recently encounter this problem. I even had requested to your customer service to cancel my auto sos top up and internet. And one of your staff had suggest me upgrade the plan and from that day on I did not face the above issue but now it come back again. I really tired to call your customer service and explain again and again. Please resolve my problem and also I facing network coverage problem in my house. I need to go to my porch to make call or surf mobile internet. Till I feed up and had bought modem and sim card U-mobile. I hope my problem can be solve as soonest.

25 July 2019 Dealer : House Of Phone at Emart Matang Jaya. i need a prepaid card for temporary use with higher GB. Dealer name Teddy 012-8829969 he help me to register a postpaid RM188 plan. so that day i never realize is postpaid because he ask me to pay RM188 first, if i finished the internet still can top up. i need it for 1 month use only. So i accept everything and make payment. i passed my sim card to the oversea teacher to use so i dont keep anything record for it because in my mind set this is prepaid for 2 months. end of October i saw in my Maxis app why i still have overdue Rm307.65 but i never received email or bill. so i go check with Maxis center at the spring on 4th November. i try to ask why i never received anything bill about this and i thought this is prepaid why charges me so much. they ask me to go back to dealer to double check. 4th November 6.15pm i go meet dealer at Emart Matang, i ask him why that day i register for prepaid and you give me postpaid and i never received any bill and the e-billing also not my email address. The email address is register under dealer email. so i ask for refund and he said over 3 months can not refund and or cancel. i need to pay the overdue by myself. he never admit the mistake. if i dont use Maxis app i will never know about i have overdue bill with big amount. why the dealer can register the e-billing under his own email. so i think he must responsible for my bill. i already settled the bill if not my name will be under the blacklist. i hope management can take any action for this dealer. i wish them can pay me the overdue and last payment. 26/3- I bought a phone from Maxis Sunway. After payment, I realise there is 2 msg in my inbox dd 19/3 where I just bought the phone on 24/3. I demand for a change…after checking the executive in charge Amrath Gill had change me a new phone as realise is their fault and it might be internal fraud…however after key in pass code at new phone…the phone cannot log on as not able to confirm my pass code. …how can this be… I enter pass code 1st time and reenter 2nd time to confirm…how can it be wrong..the exec Amrath Gill referred us to Machine Sunway to reset…however Machine is not authorised to reset…and I have no choice and need to send my phone to I phone service centre one utama. And Maxis Sunway just ignore our issue. First how can such a big company Maxis Sunway trying to sell a used/ opened phone at brand new price to the customer?? Based on the sms sequence It might be on 19/3 there is a customer with hp no 016xxx as per the sms had purchase that unit of phone…subsequent due to debit card retail limit exceeded. ..thus the customer does not proceed to purchase the phone… Then Maxis Sunway is trying to sell as brand new to next victim. . 2nd the exec Amrath Gill ask me to key in pass code without explaining n cause the phone locked… I suspect the sales person who attend to me by the name of Ben should know the phone already opened/ is not brand new phone. The cashier an Indian lady as per tax invoice named Premala also know this is a used/open seal phone as she is asking me whether I want to buy the phone casing which come together with the phone..original price RM29..they can sell to me at RM24..I am not taking the offer as I do not like the casing upon payment. Pls investigate as maxis such a big company should sell genuine product n brand new product at new retail price n do not cheat consumer.

In July 18 & August 18 both charges still appeared in my bill, both months also called Maxis to discontinue both services. In August, Maxis teleconsultant managed to terminated the itune but not Spotify, asked me to notify Spotify personally for the termination. Both itune & Spotify are 3rd party vendors to Maxis, my question and query is ; 1) why 1 can be terminated & not the other ? 2) maxis teleconsultant, very patiently guided me to log into spotify website & terminate the service, but even then we were not able to effect the termination due to lack of appropriate options. Now I am being billed for service I don’t need and did not consent. I as the payer, restrict Maxis from releasing payment to both SPOTIFY & iTUNE on my behalf hereafter. 3) As I have been calling 3 continues months for termination of both services, the delay in providing effective solution lies in Maxis as, teleconsultant confirmed to have terminated itune service effect from August 18. I hereby demand wavier of both fees from my bill from June till thereafter, till such month that these services are terminated by Maxis. If Maxis is serious about customer loyalty this is the time to show it. In the past 20 over year of being Maxis customer, there has never been any such request from ME. With Great Anticipation Audrey

30/5/2018 time tu tengah lunch hour, saya datang maxis centre at klcc, and pelayan yg layan tu adalah perempuan. tapi bila I tgok betul2 rupanya tu staff baru. seriously I hate it how she treat me.. kalau betul staff baru belajar, jangan lah muka tu confident sangat dengan information yg u bagi tu.. tahlah info yang dia bagi salah, pandang atas bawah rupa I ni macam nampak miskin, selekeh. Bila lagi banyak I tanda, end up minta orang lama yang tolong terangkan tanda minta maaf or lemparkan senyuman. incident ni bukan baru I kena but tiap2 kali pergi centre klcc ni benda sama yang berlaku. because of what? takkan nak kata “saya orang petronas, so treat me well even pemakaian I ni nampak selekeh” I”m really hope benda ni tak berlaku lagi. by me, kalau betul staff baru, be humble and kind with every customer! keep smile, baru lah tak ada customer bertambah benci nak datang.

6 Sept 2017 (contact number [protected]) I have amount due RM2189.35 with maxis (account no :[protected]) I was served by staff name Mr Shakir (Pavillion Maxis center staff), he very nice and helpful. I did told him that I just pay off for Celcom due amount since year 2012 total amount is RM812.85 and I tell the Celcom staff that I do not know that I have this unclear amount until I register myself with CTOS. Then I called Celcom and Maxis center the staff provide me all the details and guide me where to get all the info that I want. Celcom staff very good she offer me a good deal if I not urgent to clear of my name with CTOS they can give me 20 % discount on top the amount that requested to pay. After discount the amount become RM650.30 (Clear with CTOS in 5 working day). So I agreed so that I can save RM162.55, futher more they print out all the details like calling history and so on so that I have proved to bill back the amount from my oversea friends who I allowed her to use the number which is under my name. I asked Mr Shakir (Pavillion Maxis center staff) I said I believed that Maxis also have this kind of discount (At least when I know that I owe maxis money I took the initiative to pay off by today), then he go inside staff office and refer with the branch manager end up the amount that I need to pay is RM2039.35 (AMOUNT RM1831.50 TALLY WITH THE AMOUNT REGISTER IN CTOS + LEGEL FEES RM100+LAST CHARGE RM107.85). He said very sorry miss this is the amount that u need to pay and again he said sorry to me because their system or printer have issue unable to print out the calling and other detail that I want. Because he very nice so I said it ok I will try to get it next time. So I still not satisfied and I asked him again LEGEL FEES RM100+LAST CHARGE RM107.85 can waive or not because I never knew or notice that I still have this debt with maxis and I never received the letter from maxis until I take initiative to call maxis call center and he turn to Ms Suriani (I don”t know what her position but she is not a pro customer service staff) I asked if I go settle in KLCC maxis branch do I will get the discount, in a very unprofessional way she answer “mana-mana brand pun sama xde ape beza pun. Kalau dia nak sangat details ke ape ke u suruh je dia call je [protected] call je [protected]” and keep repeating the same thing to Mr Shakir and never turn to me even I the only one customer standing at the counter and she walk away like that only. But Mr Shakir kept bowed head and said i”m sorry miss, if u felt like this amount is not fair you u have right not to make payment and u may walk in to KLCC maxis center to try to settle the amount there in very polite way. Wow he is amazing, his services is marvellous can calm me down and witout delay and I wasted his time for almost 30-40minute so I made decision to settle this amount in Pavillion Maxis center because of his good services. By the way can anyone help me check if case like this do you will have refund like celcom did? as one of my friends friends who work with maxis before told me it depend on their branch manager. 6 Sept 2017 (contact number [protected]) I have amount due RM2189.35 with maxis (account no :[protected]) I was served by staff name Mr Shakir (Pavillion Maxis center staff), he very nice and helpful. I did told him that I just pay off for Celcom due amount since year 2012 total amount is RM812.85 and I tell the Celcom staff that I do not know that I have this unclear amount until I register myself with CTOS. Then I called Celcom and Maxis center the staff provide me all the details and guide me where to get all the info that I want. Celcom staff very good she offer me a good deal if I not urgent to clear of my name with CTOS they can give me 20 % discount on top the amount that requested to pay. After discount the amount become RM650.30 (Clear with CTOS in 5 working day). So I agreed so that I can save RM162.55, futher more they print out all the details like calling history and so on so that I have proved to bill back the amount from my oversea friends who I allowed her to use the number which is under my name. I asked Mr Shakir (Pavillion Maxis center staff) I said I believed that Maxis also have this kind of discount (At least when I know that I owe maxis money I took the initiative to pay off by today), then he go inside staff office and refer with the branch manager end up the amount that I need to pay is RM2039.35 (AMOUNT RM1831.50 TALLY WITH THE AMOUNT REGISTER IN CTOS + LEGEL FEES RM100+LAST CHARGE RM107.85). He said very sorry miss this is the amount that u need to pay and again he said sorry to me because their system or printer have issue unable to print out the calling and other detail that I want. Because he very nice so I said it ok I will try to get it next time. So I still not satisfied and I asked him again LEGEL FEES RM100+LAST CHARGE RM107.85 can waive or not because I never knew or notice that I still have this debt with maxis and I never received the letter from maxis until I take initiative to call maxis call center and he turn to Ms Suriani (I don”t know what her position but she is not a pro customer service staff) I asked if I go settle in KLCC maxis branch do I will get the discount, in a very unprofessional way she answer “mana-mana brand pun sama xde ape beza pun. Kalau dia nak sangat details ke ape ke u suruh je dia call je [protected] call je [protected]” and keep repeating the same thing to Mr Shakir and never turn to me even I the only one customer standing at the counter and she walk away like that only. But Mr Shakir kept bowed head and said i”m sorry miss, if u felt like this amount is not fair you u have right not to make payment and u may walk in to KLCC maxis center to try to settle the amount there in very polite way. Wow he is amazing, his services is marvellous can calm me down and witout delay and I wasted his time for almost 30-40minute so I made decision to settle this amount in Pavillion Maxis center because of his good services. By the way can anyone help me check if case like this do you will have refund like celcom did? as one of my friends friends who work with maxis before told me it depend on their branch manager. 6pm, 9 June 2018 First complaint of wifi failure made to Maxis. I was told to wait for 2 hours for someone to contact us but no one calls. 9pm, 9 June 2018 After 4 hours from first call, called Maxis again and was told to wait 2 hours for someone to contact us but no one calls. 8.30am, 10 June 2018 After 14.5 hours of waiting from first call, called Maxis again and finally someone helped us to open our case and told us to wait for someone to contact us within 48 hours from case opening, ie, by 8.29am, 12 June 2018, by when our case should be attended to. 4pm, 11 June 2018 46 hours from our first call on wifi down and 31.5 hours from our case opened, no one calls us and we call to check status as if no one is coming today, the case wd not be attended to according their SLA of 48 hours commitment, ie, by 8.29am, 12 June 2018. We were told that Maxis is also waiting for TM to respond to its request to contact us to change our TM modem. We were asked to wait for another 2 hours for TM”s call. 6pm, 11 June 2018 2 hours up and we called again, we were put on hold for 20min again and finally the Maxis technical officer Faizal said his supervisor has contacted TM to expedite the matter and TM will call us immediately to fix appointment for change of modem. Faizal promised me to call me back after 1 hour to check if TM calls. 7.20pm, 11 June 2018 Received call from Faizal to ask if TM calls us. Told him no one calls as usual and he informed that from his system, TM has responded that as they would be closed for Raya after 3 days and have suggested to change our modem on 22 June 2018. I told Faizal to inform them that they have until 12 June 2018 to change the modem. There were more than 72 hours before raya that they could come to change our modem but Maxis/TM has the face to suggest us wait another 264 hours from now until 22 June 2018 to wait for them? This would mean our wifi is expected to be down for 300 hours for Maxis/ TM to fix a simple problem like changing a modem? Please take this as an official complaint against Maxie for their failure to fulfill their commitment to their customer.

Fyi, there was no wiring installation done only use the old wiring from previous telco. Since yesterday i tried calling him to come back and check and assist with my login in for my laptop, there was no response. Finslly, a technician came to the house on 26/6/18. The technician could not resolve the problem and said will the next day. No one turn up and another call was made to Maxis on 27/6/18. This was followed up by yet another call on 28/6/18. Till today 4/7/18 there has been no response from Maxis. This issue has been outstanding for more than 2 weeks and the silence by Maxis is deafening and service quality is apalling. When is Maxis going to respond? Am tired of calling your service hotline.

He introudced the new package which is maxis home fibre to me and there were two options RM89/month and RM129/month. Whatapps number [protected]. 7/9/18 I submitted my IC via whatapps to Alren. 21/9/18 The technical guy came to my house and installed maxis fibre. The technical person told me that the speed was 30mbps and I thought he meant we signed up for the RM 89/month package. I talked to the technical guy that my request is 100mbps, he said OK and he will help me to upgrade to 100mbps. I ask how long it would take and he said 7 working days. 8/10/18 I received email from maxis fibre the bill showing 30mbps/139, I called maxis service centre 2times but no one picked up. It was frustrating so I sent a message to Alren the person who sold me the package. He said maxis was providing me the old package, and he said he was going help me to upgrade to 129/month 100mbps and again this will need 7 working days. 12/11/18 I received email from maxis the bill is still charging me 30mbps/139. I am very disappointed at Maxis and your customer service. Q1- When is this going to be resolved? I would like to be contacted asap and have this rectify. Appointment made on following day for installation fiber. But next day maxis technician told couldn’t install cause TM technician not arrive, their miscommunication part which nothing to do with customer . Wasting one day in my life but thing never solve, call customer support in evening same day and they inform will get back to me. But no update on following day, I’ve keep following call on everyday until the 7th day, they just given answer the relevant department will contact me. So nobody admit what they made and no solution . I’ve decide to cancel the registration via customer support email but they replied case referred in 14days will arrange installation . I’ve mentioned via replied, upon registration within 14days contact to install which I’m understanding. But my case was appointment already made, maxis did not get the job done yet irresponsible . Which we not satisfy with the quality, why need to spent double of my time and wait another 14 days? Please do it simple way, I’ve given time to wait and pay my interest on the product. I never broke the deal but maxis who can’t stick to promise . I’m just request to cancel it since haven’t install anything.

at about 1:45pm today (3/9/2018) i was watching videos on youtube when suddenly i was notified that i was offline which was strange because it was fine just a few minutes ago and when i tried to fix it somehow nothing seems to work. it worked again at 3pm but this isnt the first time this happened. it happened a few days ago at a different time, it is very annoying and i at least want to know the cause of this so i can look out for it in the future. but if it is able to be prevented and fixed on your side, please do.

Bad customer services 17/4/2019 I call 123, one of your staff pick up phone, than I ask him to check about the maxis fiber. He told me that the technician cant contact me because number [protected], this is my last time sub line number. He said will help me to change to [protected]. I wait for 4 days more, still don’t have anyone contact me. I make a call 123 again. 21/4/2019 I call 123, this is one agent answer my call, she help me and check let me know the technician can’t contact me, the number she give me still the same my old sub line number. She told me my area don’t have services for maxis fiber. I ask her to check, she ask me to give her sometimes to check and she will contact me before 5pm. (make 0 promise to customer) Until 22/4/2019 haven call. 22/4/2019 Call 123 again, this agent told me my number is [protected], but this one already cancel it. Than I ask him how? What should I do? He say need to make a report 7 to 14 days to process? (really need to take so long time to process???)

Before I left Maxis and port to another Telco, I already assured with your staffs that I cleared all the outstanding balance. If I didn”t do so, Celcom won”t accept me as new customer either. Then your system started the drama and told me I still have outstanding balance. Was that supposed to be my fault??? Please acknowledge that it was the mistake of your freaking unprofessional staffs. And then? To get this new phone and sign up this plan, I cleared all the outstanding balance as you requested, (a payment that i don”t even know what is it for). But why do I still need to wait another 3 months to get the new phone? If I can”t get it immediately, what for I sign up your plan now? And then you started all the drama again, about the procedure, trace my payment history and all. Okay, so be it. In fact, the problem between me and Celcom is none of your business and if you are interested to know, as I explained many times earlier, the delayed payment was due to inefficiency of Celcom failing to inform me about the bill. I have so many monthly installments, that”s why I need the bills to be sent to me but I received no bill at all for that particular month. The following month when they asked for the payment, their staff even apologised to me for being late. So why does the blame go to me after all when a company fails inform me about my outstanding balance? I have no intention to delay the payment at all. At last, I made a complaint then your superior and other staffs started to solve my problem. Is it every single time you want to push your customer until they get mad and make complaint then only you guys will resolve the problem? Be professional please. Solve my problem NOW.

Before i sign up Maxis fiber Package, the sales rep. saying that can use back my existing tel no. then only i sign up contract. But when the installer come to install then told me that can not use back the existing number. Then i immediate go to Maxis Centre request to cancel the contract. Maxis said that i have to pay RM500 for termination of contract. After this i had keep calling customer service complaint and customer service also said that this matter have been solved. But Maxis keep charging me monthly fees.

Can you guys fix the data or signal problem properly? It’s been a month the line [censored] like this. I bought the data plan in return of poor signal? I complaint before by sending email but get a call to ask me call the number next time if I face any issue…Excuse me? Do you fix the issue I face? No… it’s still the same [censored] line until today. The other telco I used got bad signal before but unlike you, maxis data is totally cannot use at all. Such a bad month! Please fix it ASAP. Thank you!

Ceo of maxis, Please look into this matter… Made a report on 21/12/2019 on internet broadband disruption and the report no is c 233 49531. Then has been following up on 22/12 and 23/12 was told that the problem was being looked into. Called on 24/12 and was told technician will come to fixed the down Broadband internet on 26/12. Called on 10.15 am 26/12, was informed the technician was on the way. Waited till 11.30 am and called and was inform there would be a delay. Technician will come after lunch. Called again at around 4.00pm and was told technician was on the way again. By 5.30pm, called again and technical department could not give a definitive answer on when the technician will come. My questions… 1) are we getting the service free? 2) are your technicians having problem keeping promises or disability in time management? 3) since maxis had monopolized the broadband service in pusat bandar puchong, we have no choice but to tolerate the inefficiency of your technician?? 4) I have been calling maxis since 21/12 and no one from maxis has ever called to update. Maybe because you have monopoly in pusat bandar puchong??
