19/6/2017 I made a transaction on Viagogo website (an event ticketing company) which appeared to be a scam. Immediately after, I called Maybank Customer Service to lodge a report as I soon realized it was a scam and was unable to cancel the transaction (no MSOS Code, did not redirect to Maybank page for a TAC number, no SMS regarding the huge amount that was being deducted from my account). My card was charged. I checked on Maybank2u and there was no history of the transaction as well. Customer Service agent requested for my Credit Card number and told me the transaction was declined as it was a high-risk website. I happily proceeded to get the legit transaction done and it was declined due to the credit limit. I immediately called them up to know what was going on. Surprisingly, the other agent told me the transaction went through on my AMEX and it was my fault not to check this in the first place. My question was how did you decline on the first card which was VISA and let this transaction go through on AMEX if it is a high-risk website? Does this not apply to all cards?

I”m eager to get some real information about is there any rules and regulations specify by Maybank Group that would being charged if clients bring notes to bank in with more than 1000 pieces ( include RM100, RM50, RM20, RM10, RM5, RM1 ) to any Maybank branch in Malaysia ? One of your employee did charge me for RM10.00 with a receipt because of my notes more than 1000 pieces. Moreover, employees worked in the department shown laziness and disrespectful to their beloved customers which is not for the very first time. Maybank employee were not making things conveniently to the customers, in fact they want customers do it for them. Working in a bank with a good education background and somewhat high profession, u just don”t except or expect this kind of behaviour… Your staff at Maybank Taman Perling Johor Bahru are extremely rude with an attitude.. I made my way there just to get a simple bank statement but was treated rudely by your staff”s. The best part is I just re-open an account with maybank after so many years, and after having gone through this experience I am considering to withdraw all of my saving n close my acct.. A simple act of unconditional interest to serve a customers or doing it with an attitude is unacceptable.. It was not only me but other customers as well that had to go through this type of behaviour from yr staffs.. Dear party concern, I have been applied Maybank credit card under your staff Vincent with agreement of getting luggage upon approval at Starling Mall. I have received the card & Activated on 14/9 . Been waiting & waiting but still not received the luggage. Then whatapps to Vincent on 20/9 to inform him about this. I asked him when can I get the luggage? He said he has resigned & asked me to check status with this manager lady [protected]. I straight whatapps her asking for the status on the same day. She replied that system shows not activated yet. I replied to her that card has been activated.She replied that refer. I provided her my IC no. as per requested. After waited for one week plus still no feedback from her. Whatapps her again from Oct 2. She sent me photo of her someone was lying down on the hospital bed & censored the face. I was shocked & my heart was thinking how could she sent this type of photo to her customer ??? Whatapp her again on Oct.8- no reply. Whatapp her again on Oct.10. She replied that system shows card not activated yet. I said activated & started using the card already. She said maybe reflat problem. ( I checked back now that I started using the card since 30/9 -my first swipe at shell petrol station. ) She didn”t reply to me anymore. And I whatapp her on Oct.12 & she said waiting report. Whatapps her again on Oct.17 to check.the status but no reply. Whatapps again on Oct.19 & 26. She didn”t reply to me since then. She don”t even bother to reply to me. Till 27/10, I decided to bring up this matter via complaint submission. I don”t know what is actually going on with her as this is her personal problem and shouldn”t involve me as her customer & this is your internal problem(system or reflat or whatever problem it is…) is not my problem. You should check & rectify the problem & try to solve for me asap rather than keep on delaying or trying to stop from servicing me. As a professional manger, I found her working attitude has problem instead of system problem. Pls act immediately. Hi my name is Eric. I feel very not save in Maybank saving account. And no fair on me. When I last time bankrupt. And lost it my job. And I can”t make it my credit card payments, even min payments also I didn”t have too, And Maybank will take action send me lawyer latter and even collect department is so action talking with me. No people force u using all the amount. Sure is she/he talking right. Even at last lawyer to call me say I should be make fully payments. If not we will take action report polis going to my home catching me and will go the court. And the court fees is few thousand I have to pay all. I quit to call my new boss to help me settled all my amount. But now I facing complaining is I have also have buy the second have for new vehicles on that time is auto deduction from my saving account. But every time is not under my hand to make it payments. But Maybank is following the authorities to deduct. But my saving always is empty and late bank in from my EX company. One day I feel is my saving why lost money inside my account. Suddenly I check online is deducted some amount on my saving but we have manual cash payments to my vehicle is mean pay in one month 2time.sure I go Maybank argue about my payments why take two time payments ur Sistem online didn”t know and the working stuff help me get it back my refund. In the next month also same problem out. I direct going to find the work stuff telling her about this case come again and need stuff to help cancel this auto deduction ruses. hi selamat petang.. ade satu masalah seorang ibu tunggal menghadapi dengan pihak maybank earlycare center pade tarikh 28/6/2017-30/06/2017 hari ini. Ibu tunggal ini telah lewati duit bulanan rumahnya selama 3 bulan. Jadi ibu tunggal ini telah memohon dan menunggu kelulusan pengeluaran wang FD. Untuk membayar tunggakan wang bulanan rumahnya. ibu tunggal ini telah maklumkan pada pegawai maybank punca dan sebab kelewatan bayaran atas sebab tertentunya. Dalam masa menunggu kelulusan pengeluaran wang FD. Pade hari ini, 30/06/2017. Satu panggilan telah diterima oleh ibu tunggal ini dari maybank earlycare center, pemanggil tidak mengenalkan diri dengan namanya. Dalam perbualan antara pegawai/pekerja dari maybank earlycare tersebut, ibu tunggal ini telah beritahu pade pegawai tersebut bahawa dia akan membuat bayaran dalam masa terdekat, dan juga beritahu pegawai tersebut yang dia sedang menunggu kelulusan pengeluaran wang FD nya. Tapi pegawai tersebut tidak memahami/tidak ingin fahamkan ape yang telah di beritahu oleh ibu tunggal ini. Pegawai tersebut sering hantar msg pade ibu tunggal ini pagi hingga malam dalam nada unsur mengugut dan beri tekanan pade ibu tunggal tersebut. Setiap msg yang dihantar oleh pegawai/pekerja maybank earlycare disimpan atas tujuan bukti. Apekah pihak maybank earlycare ini cuba menjadi salah satu ahli kumpulan ah long haram?? kita sebagai rakyat tidak mahu melibatkan diri terperangkap degan cara ah long. I”m Sam here from Singapore and resided at west Malaysia, incidents took [protected]@ matang hilir patronas ATM machines… On 30/3/[protected]@02:41pm I would like the above mentions name of staff to be send for further studies on foreign customers personal Atm cards regards communications has breakdown between own staff …dissapointment sadness angry all had arise cos I”m supposed to received my dbs ATM card back in safe hands but was being destroy by may bank staff while being approach by shahrin Mgr and asst mgr they can simply said your card has been cut off .after I had confirm on dbs and may bank for not to destroy my ATM earlier and both parties had acknowledge it and understand my hard situations here..but matang staff told me simply had been cut into two piece ooh gosh…my heart my mind went crazy after what has been said by the mgr and the asst mgr with a sarcastic face…I really wish the head dptmt could do something to this 3 person asap due to we have to be cleared on customer request and I believed there should has been a time frame to be given to the customer if the customer wasn”t report on the mention status then they will be authorise on taking any actions against the card.I was sick, weak and I need to cash out the cash for my medications needs but ( may bank ) has done me more damage.speechless for now…hope the management could look forwards of what i had said and wish something could be done..and will look forwards on press so the world should be aware on how may banks works on foriegns ATM card holders which can access worldwide… Regards : sam

She is a teller, and she has used the data of my fiancee for her own benefit. i believed that is a misconduct! This staff name is Farah Syazwani (as per name saved in my fiancee”s contact). I had filled up the application form with the assist of a female staff and the form had submitted to another dept, at 3.05pm. The other staff who in-charge asked me to be seated and wait for moment so that my application will be processed soon, since there are 3 customers in front are applying the atm cards as well. This is not a long queue and there are just 3 applicants, I am the fourth. I spent more than 2 hours waiting to be served. The clock passed 4.30pm; their entrance closed. But the rest applicants and I still waiting until 5.10pm, the 3rd applicant almost done and it was my turn. Meanwhile, a malay male staff who look fat, overweight and with a big stomach that sit just beside the staff started mumbling. He was sitting on his desk wait for the time passed from 4.30pm to 5.10pm without doing anything, just like waiting to get off. I knew his name afterward but I prefer not to reveal although his attitude is rude and not respecting customers. He stood up and asked me to retrieve back my application form and come back tomorrow impatiently. I told him if so, you should ask me to leave earlier on 4.30pm, but not 5.10pm. Therefore, he blamed me and another applicant rudely because we did not come earlier. With an extra excuse saying their system and pc will automatically shutdown on 4.30pm and cannot help us process any further. This is a terrible case since the staff did not ask us to leave on 4.30pm and still want us to wait for 40 minutes longer before we get driven out of the building. Are they on purposely doing so in order to waste our time? I had wasted 2 hours waiting and get nothing at the end. I am disappointing with the unprofessional staffs of maybank mentakab branch. The staff asked us to leave rudely without any apology, this is a basic courtesy and maybank’s staff failed to do so.

I am the owner of vista suria enterprise. Last friday, my clerk call me saying that she received a call from maybank call centre – fraud internet banking. She said intan told her that the rm10, 000 entering her account is from hacking cause the owner rohani binti mohamed make complaint that she didnt transfer the money out. I received an order from a philipine saying that they saw corporate gift with one of their business friend. They get the number n they call me directly. They already choose a design. Key chain for rm10, 000 budget. They have a friend in malaysia and she said she will help to pay so that their money will not get lost. On the promised date, they wanted to make the payment, they called me. I was rushing for ppd meeting and to do card replacement later in the evening. I was rushing and lost my purse that contains all atm cards. I already make lost report to block my atm. I forgotten my own account number so I gave the one my clerk just gave me to receive her salary. I told her that money will enter her account and she should transfer immediately to my account vista suria. Now the maybank fraud unit said they didnt allow her to use her account for further investigation. Its weird cause my clerk told me she also received call from unknown no ms ery. They ask her to meet in maybank on certain date. They said dont meet other person in maybank cause not everyone knows. I brought the receipt to them, and ask them how can it end like this. And they simply said the don’t know! (Eventhough i’ve giving them more then 1 week to troubleshoot what happened to my accounts. Now, it has been more than 2 months! They still cannot make it.. I don’t really care what is their problem. The main thing is, I wan’t them to clear off my name from any debts in their systems! I don’t have any debts anymore! I’m really upset with this! Now and then, maybank staff didn’t want to entertain me anymore. They even sometimes being rude when they hear my voice on the phone! (i’ve never curse them or shout even once!) Hurmmmmmmmmmmmmm… I never trust maybank anymore…

And have been sitting here from 1.30pm until 4pm to be called upon with 9 customer before me. Unbelieveble poor and slow services provided.maybank should really look into ur service standard. Only one counter are available for the new account opening and 10 customer takes the wholf half day. I had been here one month earlier wanting tp do the account opening. When I reached 3pm. I was told that I am too late and they asked me to come another day as they are closing in another hour and wont have enuf time to help me.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with your decision to waive only 1% of my penalty fee. 1% of the penalty waive, if I pay off all my debt, is only about Rp2500.000, which is much less than the amount that i had overpaid to the bank. I believe i should get back the full amount that i had overpaid to the back, which can only be done through this penalty waive, not penalty discount. I have been overcharged in interest rate for my mortgage loan for 8 months. When i complained and requested that the excess charge be credited back to me, they said what has be charged in the past cannot be refunded because they cannot backdate. They also gave a lame reason that the officer who printed the “draft” has resigned. They also asked me if i signed the new contract for the newly approved interest rate. So i asked them back, “why am i not asked to sign it?” And they cant answer. I believe it is their responsibility to follow up with me and ask me to sign the necessary document. I had made an effort to approach the bank to asked if my requested of interest rate reduction had been approved. The officer told me that my interest rate has been reduced to 11.25% and she also printed out the new simulated “draft” for me. HOWEVER, i was shocked when told that i was still in floating rate of 13.49%. I went to the branch office, and even went to the main office for mortgage division in Ekajiwa tower. They all tried to wash their hand of this matter. The bank”s representative said they couldn”t payback my overpaid interest as they cannot backdate and also the bank staff who handled my case has resigned. I think these excuses are lame! I requested to see the head of mortgage division since the none of the officers can handle my case, but they said there has to be a “procedure” for this. And i dont know what procedure i have to go through again. I went to kelapa gading branch office to see the branch manager, but they said they dont have a manager, or assistant manager in that branch. This case has been going on for months and i still dont hear any good news. What is the point of having officers to represent the bank to help customers with doubts and questions, and yet all the informations given are invalid? This is only a small matter, yet no one is able to handle it. Do i have to bear the cost due to their negligence and irresponsibilty? If they cannot backdate, there are still many other ways to compensate what i had overpaid for. For e.g. by waiving my penalty fee, or crediting the amount back to my bank account. I am only asking for the excess amount that i had paid to be returned back to me and I believe that is my right. I had fulfilled all obligations that has been charged to me during the terms of my loan. I hope you can reevaluate and and return me the full amount that i had overpaid for. I am yeoh ee seong and my ic no is [protected]. I have make a mistake which not received the statement for credit card since September 2016 and I didn”t call in to asking about the statement. During end of Nov 2016, I start received the call from number 03-[protected] and inform me they are maybank agency to collect my outstanding payment. During that time I have started dealing to maybank collecting department. And 8th of dec 2016, I have received a letter ask me to pay rm11k plus, I have make the rm12k during I am back to penang on 21th Dec 2016. And I have call to confirm 27th December 2016, the officer say they received the payment and talk very nicely and advise me to write email for stoping high interest and request for installment. I follow and doing on the same day, she also say don”t need border to 3rd party collect company call. But today I received few call say they are authorised agency from maybank, and want come to my office and house collect the money from me. They also sms me and the wording act like gangster and treated me. I am so disappointed to maybank collection department have such a internal miscommunication. And I received an email yesterday from maybank collection department, and ask me pay another rm15k by today. I believe the 3rd party agent is based on that email and come to me! Maybank is our malaysia biggest banking company, anyone owing to bank, I believe bank will give advise or help to settle the outstanding or else can process with legal action to against us. But 3rd party collection agent is unacceptable and Base on your record, 3mths no payment and 4th month I have make rm12k to maybank komtar branch. I feel very unfair and feel threatening by someone from maybank. I hope the complain department unit can reply to me asap.

I applied for a Maybank Islamic Petronas Ikhwan Visa Platinum Card-i on 25th September 2017 at around 1pm at Maybank Wisma Genting. The officer who attended to me was Najua Hanim Kamarozaman. I provided a copy of my IC, latest salary slip and filled up the application form completely and was told my Credit Card would be sent to my home address via courier within 7 working days. I waited almost 3 weeks and received no news from any Maybank staff. I called up Najua yesterday to check on the status of my application and was informed that my application was still designated as “Pending”. May I ask why does it take Maybank so long to process a simple credit card application whereas your competitors only take 3 days? Worse, I was kept in the dark and left hanging, never knowing if my application was successful or had been rejected.
