I am a licensed clinical social worker and an occupational therapist with over 20 years of practice helping people deal with growing pains, emotional difficulties, trauma and even with chronic and/or serious mental health issues. I have two passions: to help young people to be their best selves and group work. I believe the best way to know if we are a good fit is to meet in person; come with your child. Give it a try; it will change your lives forever!I was trained in EMDR, a method which helps people who suffered trauma, small or big, to unlock their brains and increase control over their responses to stimuli. increasing self control, and socially appropriate behaviors; I can facilitate children and parents communication helping to destroy barriers, promoting harmony and happiness.I am trained in art therapy, with extensive experience in group work using an activities based approach; therapy will be fun and will lead your child to discover aspects of his/hers personality previously ignored;improving self confidence;leading to a happier and easier life for the whole family!
