(Truck driver S11526) This truck driver was not driving safe on the highway. He Was going at a speed i”ve never seen a truck driver driving at. As I was merging on the highway he was driving so fast that I got over in the emergency lane to let him go before my kids and I. He was also not getting over into different lane safely. I hope this is unexceptional behavior for drivers at Meijer. He could have easily hurt hisself as well as drivers around him.

07/11/2017, store# 21, cashier Mallette (Moe). I visit your store at least 2x a week and today was VERY unhappy with my cashier this morning. She was very slow, dropping items into the bags very UN-gently and kept saying over and over, “I”m not used to this shift, I”m not used to being here at this time”, this was her excuse for all my complaints. She didn”t take my coupons and then I had to ask her to take them and she had checked me out already. She did get me a refund, but after several minutes trying to figure it out and then calling for help. These are only a few complaints I am listing…there are more…She was very unfriendly and it was just not a good experience for me, so much that I am writing this note, which I don”t ever do! 11/16/17 I called the Bakery to see if I could order a customized cake. The first customer service representative from the Bakery started to take my order and when I asked if they could something in the style of a Jack Daniels Label I was told that it would be a copy right issue, but she would let me speak with the cake decorator to further discuss my request. I spoke to the cake decorator and I asked her specifically “I have a question about ordering a customized cake.” Then I asked her the same questions I had asked the previous worker and she also said they couldn”t because of copy right laws. I said” Okay, could you do a name and Old No. 30 on it with some designs?” then she began asking me questions about the name, in a very rude manner, like she was perturbed to be taking my order. I began spelling my the name and she said, “NO!” I said “excuse me!” she then paused and began to spell back to me. At that point I said “thank you but I will call someone who is more professional.” I would like you to understand that I worked a number of years in retail and customer service and I have never spoken to a customer the way I was spoken to today. I have noticed that since the Meijer opened in our town their customer service has gone down as well. I was actually referred to the bakery at Meijer to order a cake. This was not what I was expecting. I would like my complaint to be addressed and if it is not I will continue the send this complaint until I get a response. 3 days ago i went to meijer in grandville michigan. Picked up chicken to make a meal out of it. Pack of meat was 10 bucks. 5/1/19 this is the third time in less than a year that the water jug filler machine has been down at mason mi meijer. Last time it was fixed, there wasn’t even a sticker to show the date of maintenance or water quality check. I have complained along with others that we need 2 machines. Every time I get water, which is twice a week, I have to normally wait in line, or when machine breaks (like now) I have to go to kroger’s or darryl’s store to get water, so I do my shopping while i’am there! So when your machine is down, we shop elsewhere! With all the competition going on, I would think this would be taken into consideration. Also, every single sale on the first day, most all items on sale are not in stock! And good luck, trying to find someone to check in the back! Argh! When you continually are out of stuff, I just order from amazon, again loss to you! In this day in age, you need to do everything to keep your customers happy! Also, getting rid of greeters, who help people especially when they need to use the electr Ic carts, now customers are helping people! Not cool. There is never anyone in produce and bags are always out! I go around with extra ones so the elderly can get them, I should be paid! 9/15/17. My son who has autism and I have been shopping here for years at least twice a week. My son likes to window shop and say hi to people he knows while I get groceries. On this particular day while I was in checkout my son went to say hi to someone he knew and one of the male employees told him to walk in a different direction very rudely. It startled my son and he came over and told me what happened. I went to walk over to find out what was going on and the manager at the eyeglass desk walked over to me and asked me what is the problem? very rudely. I told her my son wasn”t doing anything wrong and he has autism so sometimes communication is difficult. She didn”t even try to understand or care and continued to be rude and said her friend didn”t “like” the way he was walking. I tried explaining to her that he is autistic and she didn”t show any understanding that she was at all concerned that she just judged my son on his appearance. I have never been so humiliated and uncomfortable in a store in my life and the female manager of the eyeglass store needs some training on compassion and how to treat people with disabilities! I will never spend another dime in that place again!

9/30/2017 On the date listed above I was shopping for some kitchenware. As i was looking down the aisle for a pressure cooker the NUwave electric Pressure Cooker 6Qt was stocked on the top shelve of the kitchen aisle for $.01. I went to look for workers and no one was working in the area. I loaded up the cooker and was told by cashier that I could go to customer service to get price adjusted. Once I got to customer service they sent someone to the area where I found the product and seen that the price was mis-marked. The worker came back in reported to her manager that the cooker was in fact mark for the $.01 . The manager to the cashier that she could not grant me that price the someone marked it wrong and they could only give me 25% off the price in the register which was $99.99. Based off the Michigan Scanner Law I I thought the store was required to provide the displayed to avoid any other alternative actions, which is the reason why I sending this to see if I can be granted the price for the NuWave Electric Pressure cooker for the listed Price and a gift card for the inconvenience. A visit to the Southfield, Michigan store location found both women bathrooms to have stall doors and toilet paper holders that do not function/operate had not been repaired or replaced. This is a safety issue. It can also cause excessive use of toilet paper, use of other paper due to the toilet paper falling onto the floor and becoming too dirty to use possibly creating plumbing repair, not to mention it is very unsanitary. Children and disabled adults can be directly affected. Please address and resolve this matter as soon as possible. A regional Director’s store visit is recommended. In the best interest of customers and company shareholders.

About 2 months ago I was shopping at Meijer and was attempting to leave when the buzzer went off. I stopped and gave my receipt of carry no purse at all the unknown man was like what did u steal I am a 56 year old woman being embarrassed by the accusations. Finally I was allowed to leave with no apology. when I got home I explained to my husband what happened and he called the store right away. He was told for me to go to service desk and pick up a $15 gift card. I was so disappointed in the store I hadn”t returned. My daughter is here to visit and was making a trip to Meijer do I decided it would be a great time to pick it up as my health no longer allows me to drive. We went to the service counter and talked to the lady at tg desk she said I have nothing for you and then she called a manager which George I believe was his name would be right there to issue a gift card. We waited 20 minutes and asked how much longer as my health doesn”t allow me to stand long(and no wheel chairs were available.) And she said well he had other people to help besides you. My daughter then said excuse me this was the stores mistake you must make it right and the lady said we”ll wait then he will be here when he has time. We told her forget it as it has been almost 30 minute”s. I needed to get my things and go! I would like a response asap as this is the 2nd time I have been mistreated!

About a month ago I purchased the Purple Cow Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream and last night while my 9 year old son was finishing the last of it he discovered 2 small metal springs in the ice cream. Now as a mother of a 9 year old and 4 year old who love ice cream I was in disbelief and was very thankful it was my 9 year old who discovered this and not my 4 year old who would of prolly just swallowed it. Also when I tried to contact your customer service number last night I spoke with a gentleman who I am almost positive hung up on me. Alright, I recently applied to the new meijer store opening in sault Sainte marie, MI. Only to find that the job I was looking into (starbucks supervisor) had already been given to one of my Facebook friends jillian smart. I messaged her asking about the news and was trying to see if she”d put in a good word for me bcs I”m applying. She then told me I HAVE NO OPENINGS! This store isn”t scheduled to open for a couple more months. I figured meijer is an equal opportunity workplace and I was shook by this girl who is pretty much telling me she”s not giving me a job before she even goes to orientation???? My complaint/question would be does this girl know what she”s talking about and can she refuse me before even reviewing my application! I think the new starbucks supervisor will be causing many unforseen issues with the new store and I hate to see such a nice space get wasted with disrespectful and immature staff.

Arrived at 5:30pm entered a graduation invitation order. Walked around for 20 min came back and they forgot to “release” the order. Waited 20 more minutes, ran out of paper at 33/40 invites. They searched everywhere for paper and couldn”t find it. We asked politely if they could just charge us for the 33 and we would get the rest when they figured it out. 2 people working back there couldn”t figure out how to adjust the price, 1 cashier muttered F— under her breathe and called a manager after 10 more minutes another “manager” came back with lunch in her hand and told them to call Another manger! Now 6:52pm. 4 people and no one could help us, or apologize or offer a solution! Absolute horrible service. Would like a call back as we need these invites. [protected] Bill Smith order# 5554925.

As a Meijer customer since the local store opened I have always paid by check. Recently a was a victim of fraud, no fault of my own, and had to close my Regions Bank checking account and open a new account. Having written several checks with no problems, I was surprised, but understanding when last week my check was rejected at Meijer store #137 and advised to contact Telecheck. I went to my Regions Bank branch and the manager called Telecheck to explain the situation. While on speaker, we both talked with a representative who took all of my information and was told there would be no problem in the future. Problem solved – NOT!!! Today I was again in the same store and my check was REJECTED AGAIN. I was told there was nothing they could do and “obviously” the bank did not release their hold! The Bank has Nothing to do with the situation other than to assist me with the problem! Back to the bank branch and another call to Telecheck, only to be informed that there was NO RECORD of our initial call last week! We were “guaranteed” that it is now corrected! As a 70 year old widow who has never had anything like this happen, do you know how embarrassing it was to have this happen twice and to feel like your employees, who know me as a regular customer, could care less? My question to you is this a normal situation with Telecheck and is this the way you want your customers treated? AND what do you suggest I do when next week I write another check and it is again rejected. FYI I have been written to WalMart, CVS, Target, Fresh Thyme, etc. with NO problem! As a spouse of someone with limited mobility I find it very annoying and that Meijer Amigo electric riding carts are slow, so few available, in deplorable condition having torn upholstery seats and are maintained so poorly. After shopping nearly fifty years at Meijer, my husband and I both feel this business has profited more than enough to provide better customer service Theresa and Milton Vann

As me and my fiance were walking down by the lanes to checkout an employee asked if we needed to check out.. The problem isn”t asking us if we needed help it was the way she asked. It was very rude. Then I had put my cat litter on the lane as I didn”t think it was a big deal, and she rudely said next time do not put this on the lane. But it was the way she said it. She doesn”t need to be working in customer service if she doesn”t know how to speak nicely. I am requesting a refund on my whole order. I spend so much money there. My order was 127. I can take myself to target and buy the same product. But I love meijer. I can print out my receipt. You can call me at [protected]. I am willing to talk about my complaint. The employees name was daesha.

I was told by one of them if it happens again call one of us and they couldnt do anything because i called afterwards and not while it was happening. One told me not to call him to walk me to my car when i got off because he wont be here. Another laughed and “cool story bro.” I quit on the spot after that. I will be taking this as far as i possibly can. I am not the first victim of this kind of incident of the managers not caring what happens to us at work could be very serious and i will not be the last. If you dont mind your managers not caring about you or what happens to you, this is the job for you!

At the pharmacy counter on January 24th, inside the Midland pharmacy, I asked if I could use my coupon for my Viagra prescription? “We don”t sell that brand here” I was told in a snippy voice, but she said “you can go to Good RX.com for that kind of drug”. I said, “put that back then” & then she took both the Viagra and cholesterol medicines and walked away 6 feet without saying a word. Then she went to wait on the person behind me. I said, “well, wait, what about my cholesterol medicine?” Abigail said, “you said to put it back” and I said, no, I still wanted the cholesterol medicine.” She then sighed and said, “what”s your birthday again” in a sarcastic tone. Then she went back to get the medicine she had put back and stapled a red paper on it, which states to “please request your refills in advance.” This doesn”t make sense, as she took the filled script, put it back and then retrieved it off of the shelf. I felt Abigail was rude and judgmental because of the Viagra prescription, I was trying to fill.
