I do not utilize a ‘one size fits all’ approach to counseling, but believe that therapy should be centered around each client’s own strengths and goals. My specialities includes working with adults and adolescents struggling with eating disorders, body image, substance use addiction, self-injury, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship struggles, life transitions and trauma/abuse. In order to address all areas of the client’s need, I collaborate with other health professionals such as a medical doctor, psychiatrist and/or dietitian. I find using a team approach to the treatment and recovery provides the best overall care.It okay to ask for help and I realize it takes courage to make that first call. I know what it is like to realize you can’t do it alone. I consider it a privilege to come alongside individuals, couples and families and help them find lasting change and recovery.
