Monday 9th- was a no show, i cancelled and re-scheduled my dialysis appt to Tuesday. I found out from another rider that the van didn’t pick her (in my neighborhood), until almost 10:30. my chair time is 10 and my normal pick up time is 9am tuesday,- iate getting me home wednesday -was over 2 1/2 hours late ,I personally saw 3 mid cumberland Vans go by, before a 4th came to get me,and I was not on list for pick up on any of them.one of the vans pulled into the gas station accross the street from Davita Dialysis. I thought it was mine, so I walked up the hill to get in the van there. the driver was pumping gas, he saw me and quickly locked the doors saying that he was off work and he refused to give me a ride home. the third van pulled in and the driver said I wasn’t on her list. A fourth van came by and said I wasn’t on the list but she came by because a driver said I needed a ride. SHE WAS NEVER TOLD BY A DISPATCHER TO COME GET ME!!!my 7 year old son was home by himself after school and I hadn’t gotten home yet. for a 10 oclock chair time, i got home at 3:20. I am only on dialysis for 3 hours each time. -About two weeks prior, they had gotten me to dialysis about 30 minutes late which set back my chair time. When the van showed up to get me, the driver refused to wait nor did he call me. he ended up leaving me. -WhemnI first started with Cumberland, they would show up at 8am, for my 10 pm appts. I would sit in a waiting room for over an hour and a half. -There is a screw up of some sort EVERY SINGLE SOLIITARY TIME I ride with these people. The screw ups are colossal, and not minor. The dispatchers are extremely dishonest about when and who is coming to pick you up, and the are not friendly at all. It is not fair to treat sick people as if we are an inconveneience. The rides aren’t expensive but they are not free, and my complaint at Davita have been voiced and shared by many who have to use the service and the stories are all the same.
