After purchasing a mastercraft exterior door in july 2018, the 3 point lock system failed in may 2019. To exit our cabin, we crawled out a window. The lock was stuck, and inoperable from the inside and outside. This door was brand new, on an end cap at the virginia mn menard’s store, and considered a “display” or “bargain”, “as is” unit. This door never left the store until we bought it. Hence midwest manufacturing will not compensate us for this defective door. Why sell any product if you can’t cover your liabilities for a failed item? Lip service from company reps is the compensation that was offered. Good thing there wasn’t an emergency that morning when trying to exit our cabin…
