9/22/17 I am still waiting for MY paycheck from MY card. It is crucial at this point for my family of 5 and I am the only income. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, the Federal reserve, my Governor and Mayor of the state of Wyoming to file complaints. I will be telling everyone that will listen on social media, the local newspaper, and the local new channels as well as everyone within my family of over 300 people that your bank has caused my family to be without food since 10/1/17 and homeless as of 10/4/17. I live in Wyoming where the weather is already below 30 degrees at night and we do not have money for gas to keep us warm. With the way that the nation is jumping on issues such as this, I promise that this will get out. No one has helped me in getting my money off my account which you have put on hold and your customer service reps have done nothing but tell me garbage answers. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was hung up on and called back and was told that they don”t do that. I called back to speak to the manager and was told that they do not have the number to contact the manager. What kind of company does this to their customers? Absolute garabage customer service. Had my money stolen from a gas station 6 states and 20 hours away. Not exactly sure who I was talking o since I could hardly understand him. After shutting my card/account down due to “fraudulent charges” and never even contacted me prior (though they said they did) I finally got a new card. I was told that my balance was $263, which was how much was on my card. All of a sudden, that’s gone, and they’re saying that when I got the card, it was in the negative balance. After sitting on hold for literally 25 minutes, I spoke with a very dismissive agent who told me that it it was my school’s fault and to contact them. Even this completely unhelpful call was better than most of the calls made to this company. I’ll be contacting my lawyer about the missing $263, and I’ll never do business with this company again.

I have faxed and emailed my information to them four times and its been three months and they still find a different problem every time i call to check on the status. As per policy of my my then employer, the first paycheck was to be paid on this prepaid Visa card. Because I was working on contract only when needed, I received this card with only an hour of pay on it, which after taxes was about $45. I was unable to use the initial card, despite trying at multiple locations. I called the customer service at Money Network, and was given the runaround so I hung up with the intentions of calling on another day. When another day came, I actually spoke to a very helpful, well-articulate individual who claimed to resolve all the issues. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with her, but at the end of the call I had a new card shipped Express mail at no cost to me, and the maintenance fee assessed was not going to be charged since it was not my fault they sent me a card that didn”t work. I received the card with my balance, minus the fee I had been promised would be reversed. I called again, and spoke to someone who did not speak English very well at all. I could not understand her, but I did understand the jist of the call- she was not going to help me and reverse the charge despite the previous representative promising me the contrary. So this company not only sent me a malfunctioning card, they also stole $5 of my money in the process of “correcting” their mistake. I will avoid this company at all costs in the future. I can”t stand a thief.

At the beginning of the month (December 2017) I tried to access my Piggy Bank account when I got the invalid user name or password notice. Thinking that I might have used the wrong password I reset it thinking that would solve the problem. Multiple customer service reps and temporary passwords later I am still to date (December 22) unable to access my money network account. I was told on three separate occasions that they were putting in a form to Tech Support and today Erica, a customer service rep, told me that the only other complaint to Tech Service was on Tuesday the 20th, she assured me that she was putting in another request and transferred me to her supervisor who in turn informed me that there was no way to get to my Piggy Bank account with out signing in to my money network account via the phone app. So my understanding is that I have money that I may never be able to get to and that nobody can do anything to help me…please tell me that I am wrong. Contacted the company once my card was stolen. Got a new card sent. They reassured me that any pending transactions will be completed. 2 hours later my amazon order was refunded . Not only did I specifically ask them in regards to that transaction but they tried to convince me that the two incidents were completely unrelated. I have an email from amazon specifically stating that there was trouble authorizing the payment. The card allows Convenience in use but if anything goes wrong the company will deny deny deny. That’s never a good company to do business with. Make sure you find a company with integrity.

I stopped working at Walmart and started working for another company that pays more and easy for me to. I”ve been getting direct deposit from my new job for going on 3 maybe 4 months now. And just randomly while I”m at the store checking out I”ve noticed that my card wasn”t working I completely confused being the fact that I knew how much money was in my account since I get alerts to my cell phone everyday at 9 am. I call them and they tell me I have a hold on my account being that I”m not longer a Walmart employee that they were switching my account to a premium account. I want to make everyone aware I was not notified my account would have been suspended for not sending in a copy of my ID, Social, and a proof of address. The company would not release my card from being on a hold after I sent them a copy of my updated ID and my social along with my credit card information I have with them. This COMPANY has been so unhelpful when I called them probably the 100th time I told them I was done with them and wanted to be removed from them as my company and I wanted them to send me a check in the mail of my remainder balance. I was then told I needed to email or fax them why I wanted to close my account and where they are sending my check. Why would I have to do such a thing being that I have been a loyal card holder with them for almost a year now. You would think they would just release it. So now I am waiting for my check to be sent out to me, I would NOT recommend this COMPANY as a card holder for your money. For a business that specializes in handling money and ensuring that people get their money this company is failing on a grand scale. Let”s start with the basics. One, my ex-girlfriend whom i broke up with almost one year ago had secretly created a secondary account using my personal information, and the money network website. Since then she has been moving LARGE amounts of my pay to her own bank account. For one I was never contacted by Money Network to verify this considering I am the main card holder, nor was I aware this had been going on until i tried to pull money to pay my rent for last month. The first time I called their call center service, I had been told that I had green-lighted this, despite my claims that this is a fraudulent activity and I had no idea this was going on. I was told that I would be getting a fraudulent report in the mail days from the call, but never received one. Meanwhile, It turns out that according to the person on the phone I had been discussing this with she had been doing this for the better half of a year, but only in smaller increments. I had called on multiple occasions to have the account cancelled so that she would not have the opportunity to take any more of my hard-earned money, but the most they did was issue me a new card. Two pay periods later, my ex (that darling woman whom i had spent ten years supporting) had taken my entire paycheck within two transactions. I currently have no money what-so-ever, and am wracking my brain how to solve this issue, while keeping this apartment I had worked so had to get. This issue is for lack of a better word; “###ed”. How is it that someone who busts their hump trying to make money to support themselves, get screwed this bad, and once they call and complain about it are treated like they”re the ones being treated like they”re the ones trying to get over? I was told that once I actually do get this fraudulent activity investigation underway I will be credited back the money she took, and if the investigation proves true I will get my money back, but that”s taking time I don”t have, and this situation should have been resolved when I first learned of this activity. Not only am I appalled by the fact that someone can just take someone else”s money without consideration, but the lack of competence surrounding the idea that the cardholder can”t even stop this person from continually bleeding them, or take them seriously enough to sit back and think “hey, if someone is complaining there may be something behind this” . The extreme issue i find at fault with this is that the secondary card creation option on the Money Network site is completely automated. This means that anyone can just waltz up and make a secondary account without any prior knowledge. That”s just irresponsible.

For the past month or so i’ve been unable to access my funds. A hold has been placed on my account because of an “upgrade”.in order to upgrade an account you must verify your identity by sending a copy of your id and social security card. I had also heard that you should also send a copy of your passport because of the patriot act or something. I sent the whole bundle! I sent a copy of my birth certificate, my social security card, my passport, my drivers licence and a paystub with my address on it. I called every day and asked what the status of my account was, and the people on the customer care line were very unhelpful. They had no control over anything and can only tell you the status of your account. Not only that, but the people who can actually help you have different working hours than the customer care people! So when they call the other department it always comes back that they are on break, or are out for the day. I have been waiting for more than a month now. It is ridiculous! When I get the chance, I am leaving this company! I would not recommend banking with them.

For two months my wife and I have been trying to close an account associated with your “Money Network” on behalf of our daughter, a minor. We have faxed a request as instructed by “customer service agents” at the [protected] which is provided on her statement on two occasions. Since April 1st my daughter has been unable to use the provided debit card to either spend or withdraw her money. The card”s expiration date was 3/15 yet we have not received any replacement card nor have our attempts to close this account produced the check we were promised within 10 days of the faxed request being sent. During that period of time, however, your multi-million if not multi-billion dollar corporate bank has seen fit to deduct $5.90 per month from a minor for account maintenance and printed paper fees on an account with less than $100 in it. Upon receiving her latest statement dated 7/15/15 in the mail today, I placed another phone call to customer service asking why this account has not been closed yet. Apparently there is still no record of a fax ever being sent or of any of our verbal inquiries into this account. The rep has now asked me to provide the date that the letter was faxed along with a new copy of the letter. I cannot express strongly enough how disgusted I am with the lack of attention and the ethics shown to date by this company thus far. It is truly disgraceful.

Fraudulent charges 3x on my card. I call immediately and am outsourced to Philippines. They won’t let me talk to the dispute department or a manager. I get dispute forms finally in the mail 10 days later. I email, fax and regular mail then call to check the status and am told I have to call back in 3 business days to confirm receipt. As of today, there is still no resolution. Emails are bounced back saying the business’ voicemail is full. The representative says they can not put me through to anyone but they can be the “go between” and there is still no resolution.

Friday 7/13/2018 12:00am I received my paycheck on my card. I went to the store got my kids snacks and got 20 dollars cash back. All together I only spent a total of 27 dollars. Kids dad came home from work and the kids and I hopped in the car to head to one of our local pools for float night. Before we could go there I needed to get gas, now mind you I have used the very same card for gas before and never had a problem. So I get to the stores pump, put my card select the grade and begin to pump, I got to $1.31 and it just stopped. I called the employee and manager out from the store and they couldn”t figure out why the pump wouldn”t let me proceed further either. They suggested I use a different one and so I pull around to the next pump, and this time it wouldn”t let me do anything. Beyond frustrated at this point I jump in the car and hope that I make it to the next closest store with a gas pump. I get there and do everything I need to to begin fueling only for it to tell me that my transaction couldn”t be processes and to try another card. I”m seriously livid at this point, so I then go inside to the ATM to get the money out for the gas so that I could pay inside and get my gas that way, the ATM then says my transaction amount exceeds the funds available and that is not the case because I literally just got paid. So I check my MN app and it tells me that I”m-$2.50. At thus point I”m ready to just lose it, so I called them and they told me that there has been a hold placed on my card because I used at the pump and the merchant wants to be sure the funds are there, so they place holds anywhere from $1.00 to $100.00 No matter how much ur transaction is for and that I should see my balance back in full in 3 days. So we shall see, but I am not satisfied with that answer because if the simple fact I”ve used at the same gas stations before and have not had this issue. I am a single mother with 2 children, how do you suppose we are to live since you unnecessarily put this hold on everything I had on my card and without warning. And know I knew nothing about this because I did not choose to have this card it was given to me from my employer. I have no other means to money and need to provide for my children”s needs as well as bills. I would appreciate further expedited assistance with this matter, and if that can not be accomplished if my funds are not made available in the 3 days I was told I had to wait then I will be calling my lawyer and will have this handled through the courts.

From Nov 7-Dec 7, had 12 fraudulent charges. I reported them . They sent me a dispute form, filled it out & faxed it back immediately. They gave me a provisional credit of $636. After investigation, they denied my claim due to conflicting stories. Now they want the $636 back. I was told there was only 1 person that can give me any information about my claim. Hi I used the atm machine @ work, which Is JPMorgan chase on 9/27/2018 approx. time 11:57 pm, after the atm tried to process the transaction which was 340.00 the machine posted can”t dispense money & can”t accept a deposit. I called money network, they said they will send dispute forms, then used the 2nd atm & transaction was denied so I tried again as credit, also denied due to insufficient funds, so I called money network back & they told me I can only withdraw 260, 00 dollars due to a 600, 00 limit even thou I did not receive any money the first time so I tried to withdraw the 260.00 & didn”t receive any money as what happened with the first atm so I called back money network & they stated they will send 2 forms. I am absolutely livid. Someone got ahold of my card information and spent my whole paycheck (about $726) as soon as it was deposited to my account. I called customer service and cancelled my card and they sent me a new one. Im trying to file a dispute and am waiting on the paper to fill out and fax. I am also dealing with 2 fraudulent transactions on my account beginning June 9th, 2018 totaling in the amount of $857.98. I notified Money Network regarding this issue on June 11, 2018. I was informed that these transactions were taken out using the account holders card which is myself and I was unaware nor did I allow these transaction to be made. These transactions were taken out through a ATM at a local convenient store more then 20 miles from where I live and I have never stepped foot inside of this place. I’m very safe with my card and my card has not been out of my possession since it has been issued to me. I also received a letter in the mail stating my Identity has been stolen. As I shown proof of these documents there still has been nothing done regarding my experience with this company. A new card was also sent to me which I declined, I was still told that there was nothing they can do regarding this matter or even receiving the money back/credited that has been stolen from my account. I was told to file an appeal and wait a ridiculous amount of time of 45 -90 days to even hear back to see if my appeal has been approved or not. I am already 1 month in trying to resolve this matter and STILL nothing has been done. This company does not care that these issues are occurring and further investigation needs to be made. Its unfair to those who do the work and not get paid for the work that had already been done. It is unfair that not even the Labor and Board can get involved in these types of matters. This is illegal banking operations and needs to be further investigated. I have already filed a police report and I will be taking this matter to the Federal Banking Authorities as well.

I am furious! I received a virtual prepaid Money Newtwork card only to have the company put a hold on it! They are saying that I need to prove that I am the recipient of the damned thing! I called in for a dispute n they deactivated my card which I didn”t not ask for but I understand its policy the guy said to me he”d ship my card and I would receive it in 3 business days that was last week on Monday today is Thursday of the second week I have received nothing I have talked to numerous customers service n have not been able to help me out have bills that we”re due since last week I know have 300$ worth of overdraft fees because of the fact that its about to be two weeks n I have not been able to access my funds since, who is going to pay for those fees when I have the funds and am not able to access them because of all of this because I”m accumulating these fees n they are absolutely not my fault I need answers please.

I cannot believe that my account was put on hold 9/22/17 for fraudulent activity with very little resolve on this matter. I asked what fraudulent activity and your customer service rep would not tell me. I tried to get them to tell me how to get this hold off my account and all I was told was basically I had to close the account by sending a letter and wait. Then after it is closed I needed to wait more to get my funds. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was disconnected and I called back and asked again to speak to a supervisor or manager and was told that they do not do that. I am contacting everyone that I possibly can to file a complaint against your bank. I want my funds! I have bills to pay! I have been with this bank for years and cannot believe that all of a sudden I am being done this way. Thank you Money Network! Looking forward to filing complaints of every single site I can find as well as any offices that I can locate to investigate this issue.

I caught 4 charges on Friday September 1st, when they were still in a pending credit card charge and called. I was told that I could do nothing but call the merchants where the charges were made. I did and was told by the home depot that they don’t know why they keep telling people to call that it has to be disputed by the card company. Walgreen was much nicer but it was still the same result. I called back and was told that I could not file a dispute until the charges had been paid and were out of pending status That they could not cancel them. Then I would get a provisional credit in 10 days. There is no such thing as customer service for this company, all they say is there is no update . I looked up first data corporate number and call them they are even less help.” Because of school starting they are not able to keep up with the disputes so it could be 10 business days before someone is even assigned to the dispute.” Now I have fees because my mortgage was declined, even after I asked them to stop payment on that, they stated get a hold of the mortgage company and tell them to. I already had and they said because they had already processed the payment they could not, But if I stopped payment they would not charge me insufficient funds fee and I could pay it another way to avoid late fee, but it had to have a stop payment because their system automatically sends it 3 times and until it is stopped or rejected 3 times I could not pay it again. But of course that did not matter, all customer service could do was nothing. So there goes another $150.00 dollars. So far this company has basically cost me over a $1000 which I don’t have. They outsource the information to my money. I had no Idea that my information was in the Philippines .

i change my bank account and tried letting the institution about the change in life and they responded quick but after a couple attempts I”ve have had neither repose or correction to the problem with the lively hood of my family at the balance i would like to see these complaints get done or file a law suit.i would like to warn everybody in the future about this company and let my neighbors and friends know what kind of organization/Instatution this is .

I check into a hotel in on 06/09/2017 for my birthday getaway. .So we get into the room and it was not what we thought.The night clerk said that she didn’t charge my money network card and the funds should be on there, not all I had 2. on my card and 300 miles away from home. So I called money network they said go to merchant and have them fax the nessary documents needed to get my money back so I could get home, so I did. Well needless that wasn’t the outcome, I told them I was stranded with 2.00 in my account and 300 miles away from home. They said well in 1 business day you should have your full refund so here’s today 06/12/2017 with no resolve they keep pushing it off on the merchant but they have done what they were required by money network. I hate that I even got this card through my employer, the customer service representatives don’t understand you or can barely speak English. I’m just out done

I decided to get me a hotel for my birthday and put money on my money network card to pay for it. When I went to the hotel they put a hold of about 1600 for the hotel stay. Which is usual. Hotels always put money on hold and a deposit just Incase something happens for the room. When I left the hotel they charged me for the nights I stayed which was about 1500. I still have my money pending and it’s been over a week. I used this card before for hotel stays and it usually come back in a week or so for the money that’s on hold. I spoke to a customer service rep named FORD who said that it would take 31 DAMN DAYS!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! AFTER IT CLEARLY SHOWS THAT I PAID FOR THE HOTEL! He then stated to speed things up I would need to get the hotel to fax a letter head with a hand written signature, my first and last name, date I left with the amount I paid. The manager of the hotel sent the fax and when I called money next work they said they didn’t get it! Which I complained about because the manager sent it five hours before I called. When I called the rep said that I would have to call tomorrow because the financial dept was closed! ARE YOU SERIOUS! IT WAS SENT THERE FIVE HOURS AGO! So I decided to speak to the supervisor AJ. At first she said they didn’t get the fax but double checked because they got a lot of faxes sent. After finding it she said that what the manager at the hotel wrote is wrong! HOW IS IT WRONG?!!!FORD (the rep I spoke to before) said all we needed was the amount that was charged to my card when I left the hotel?!!! WHAT KIND OF SERVICES IS THIS?! I READ OTHER COMPLAINTS AND I NOTICED THE SAME IS HAPPENING TO OTHERS!! YOU GUYS ARE LITERALLY HOLDING MY MONEY THAT I CANT USE NOW FOR NO REASON! AND ITS FRUSTRATING ! I filed an dispute back in August and havnt recieved my money back are an response. I am now been told its pass time and there is nothing they can do . I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL.TIMES REGARDING MY CASE AND ALL THEY CAN TELL ME IS WAS THE CASE WAS STILL OPEN BUT NOW ITS CLOSE AND I HAVNT HEARD FROM NO ONE. I get paid every Friday. On the seventeenth I went to with drawl all my $ at once (to avoid their fees) and to more importantly go pay my bills. The ATM wouldn”t let me with drawl the money. So i call them and could hardly understand one word they said. They ended up telling me I had all these charges that I hadn”t made.I Still had my card though!! So, they say 7-10 days and the money will be back on there. In the mean time a dispute dept. sends me something to send back in which I end up paying over ten$ to fax! And it”s not even all the charges that I should be getting reimbursed for! After 10 business days $ is still not on my card, I call them again and they say another 7-10 business days from when I faxed it. Still waiting along with my bills!!! and these charges are from another state!!

I go shopping and I check my account a few minutes later and it appears as if I had spent more than I actually had. I kept track of where I was, I should still have like $207 left. That isn”t what they”re saying. So basically, I”m out $131 and I”m not entirely sure if I”ll get it back. I would”ve tried customer service…if I hadn”t read the customer service reviews. This company is garbage, just garbage. Next pay period, I”m paying off what I owe my old bank and starting an account elsewhere, Money Network is trash!

I got my paycheck deposited onto my card like I have several times over the last few years and I go to check my balance and it sends me to customer service and they say my card has a hold and I have to verify my identity. So you mean to tell me 3 different people none of whom spoke English could tell me why but yet you want me to fax my private information to a number your giving me over the phone. But I still do this and yet I still do not have a release of my funds. I will be contacting my attorney first thing this morning considering your holding my paycheck and will not be using money Network ever again.

I had 103.19 on my money network card just this morning. I used it to get 24.90 worth of gas… Now I have 3.00 left. I called to check my recent activity, and there’s a random 75.00 transaction right after the 24.90 one on the same date as today. I got my gas and went straight to school. No doubt that customer service will have some excuse to just not refund me. I’ve also had previous problems with ATMs. It said I had “insufficient funds” but took my service fee. The funds weren’t insufficient, in trying again it worked fine. Except it charged another service fee. The Money Network card is just so great as you can see.

I had a double pre authorization on my card from a merchant that had made a mistake. I had called this bank multiple times to try and talk with the merchant to reverse it so i could pay my bills but i was either hung up on or sent to the main menu by. I had tried getting the adp network phone operator on the phone along with the merchant in a conference call. They had exchanged information and fax numbers and had informed me my funds should be in my card by 5 pm that night. That was 6 days ago and i hadnt had my money since. I am now switching from adp network to another bank as soon as possible so i can have a bank that will help and compensate.

I had a fraudulent charge on my account, which ended in me of course having to cancel my card. I have since gotten paid twice… I haven”t received my replacement card. I don”t have any of the checks, so basically I”m out of luck. Their 7 -10 days seems to be infinite. They suggested I ask one of my co workers for a check so I can access my funds?! WTH. I am in such a bind, I have the money, and no way to access it. Which is the same as being broke.

I had my husband go to the ATM with my money network card and withdrawal $120 dollars off of the card the ATM machine never dispensed the money but it was taken off of my card and I had to file a dispute against the charge and they told me it would be 3-5 business days well the days have passed and still haven’t seen anything so I called the manager of the dispute department and they stated it wasn’t anything they can do so they pretty much robbed my money and they hang up the phone on me their names is Steve at extension 22103 and Robert at 25001 they are very rude and unprofessional.

I had reserved a room online at booking.com for two nights and the total for the 2 nights came up the $88.98 and when with a $100 I had reserved a room online at asked him to cancel the reservation he told me I had to pay so I went online and canceled for free. So than he was telling me that for the two nights I only paid $63.98 but when I called my card the costumer service lady told me I paid $73.00 they asked for a $50 deposit and I said okay I had a total of $57.50 on my card when he swiped it he took my whole thing and than claimed he didn”t now what he”s not telling me is that are they charging me and they not so now I feel robbed about the whole situation and I need my money back.

I had to use this card while I was employed at Jamba Juice and saved all of my income on this account. Years later find out that it charges a $2.95 maintenance fee EVERY month. Also, $1.50 for EVERY transaction. I bought a meal today for $7.50 and the online bank showed the meal costed 9 dollars (did not state that it was a withdrawal fee). Just that the meal was 9 dollars, which was not. Another thing is the online site is awful, doesn”t make any sense. Transactions are all scattered even when you organize it by date. This card is incredibly useless and stole hundreds of dollars that I earned from hard work. I recommend everyone to use an alternative method if possible.

I have a money network paycard that was provided for me through my employer. I started noticing money missing so i got a new card sent to me, which i had to pay for and i changed my pin.3 cards later money is still myseriously coming up missing from my account. I was told by customer service that someone must have my account number along with my card number for this to keep happening despite the new cards i had to buy and cancel my old ones. Most recently a total of $346 was missing from my account in a 2 week period. I called and wasted countless minutes on my cell phone and finally was sent the dispute forms to dispute the 7 withdrawals that were not made by me. These withdrawals took place at an ATM at a Farmers Bank in Georgetown, ky. There is NO Farmers Bank in Georgetown, ky. The investigation of these fraudulent withdrawals was done by someone named Dan with the dispute operations department of First data. I recieved a letter 2 weeks after faxing all of the appropriate paperwork and a written letter explaining that there is no Farmers Bank in Georgetown, ky and that these withdrawals were not done by me. This letter said that my dispute was denied based solely on the fact that my pin number was used for these transactions. If someone got a hold of my account number and my card number would it really be that difficult to get my pin number as well. I am just glad that i noticed the money missing before a large amount was stolen. It is not even about the money. It is the fact that i work very hard for the money i make and these people including Dan are allowing it to be stolen from me and many other hardworking people.

I have a old card but it got hacked. I called & got it figured out. But they won’t deactivate it. I got my new card sent it but the app it won’t let me sign it with my new sign in. It won’t let me verify my email or number. I’ve tried it for several days and it says I can’t do it at this time please try again. It’s irritating me be cause I don’t want all that money sitting on my card.
