My ideal client is intelligent and aware of needing a positive change about their thinking, feelings or reactions to their problem(s). They have come to therapy because they are truly ready to change and will work towards their solutions with honesty and integrity.Being ready to change means that they highly motivated because they have hit rock bottom or placed the “last straw on the camel’s back.” I believe that all healing begins from within, and that if the person can define their own problem, that in all likelihood, a solution can be found.My specialty is brief therapy implying only 6 to 8 sessions unless the individual’s history (diagnosis and history) indicate a need for more extensive work.Eye Movement Desensitization, Hypnosis and Neurolinguistic Programming can help people to rapidly process “stuck” memories to allow for sometimes very rapid change.My office location is in a particularly healing location (the quaint area of Merritt Island) and the interior is more of the same. I really enjoy my work and continue to educate and update myself on best practice protocols.
