In my 16 years of practice nationally and internationally in government and private settings, I have assisted my clients in moving forward and growing stronger each day by empowering them. I provide an empathetic, non-judgmental and safe environment for my clients to heal and become resilient through the therapeutic process. In addition to being Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, I have been a School Counselor for several years, which has made me very aware of the needs of young clients and their families.I thrive on working with both teens and adults and help them overcome various challenges including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, behavioral disturbances, couples conflicts, and familial dysfunction and so much more.My biggest strength is my multicultural counseling experience which makes me especially emphatic to cultural differences in the context of mental health issues among clients. I am also a Distance Credentialed Counselor and can offer services via HIPPA regulated video conferencing.
