My family had recently moved to La Mirada. I didn’t have enough time to commit to every service provider I needed. I only hired the best when a need arises. For example, I only hired an electrical contractor when I experienced a problem with the electrical system in my home. Recently, my elder son started experiencing a toothache, and he kept complaining about his gums were swelling. Such a situation required immediate attention, and so I started looking for a good dentist around La Mirada. Good dentists do not come by easily as I had to read online reviews, check the number of years a certain dentist had been operational, among other things. By the end of the process, I decided to settle for My La Mirada Dentist. This company had a good online presence, and from the reviews, they were good for emergencies.
I called the clinic to book an appointment. I took my son for the sessions because he was in pain. Upon arriving at the center, everything seemed a miss since there was a long queue. I asked the receptionist whether I could see the dentist immediately as I had booked an appointment, and my son was in pain. The receptionist tried to work something out, but at the end of it all, I had to queue like everyone else. I got mad for wasting my time to book an appointment if they were not going to serve my son immediately. I tried to ask the receptionist whether she could offer something to ease the pain, but she told us to wait. This was horrible.
After queuing for a few hours, it was our turn. However, before we walked in, the dentist walked out, claiming it was his lunch break. I felt sorry for my son, but there was nothing I could do. I asked him whether we should visit another dentist, but he suggested that we should wait as the lunch break could take more than 30 minutes. He had a point. What if we went to another center to find the same situation? We decided to wait.
After 45 minutes, the dentist was back. I had my son diagnosed. He kept complaining about the pain, but the dentist did nothing about it. He kept telling me that I should pay before he could attend to my son. I went ahead to pay, hoping my son would be served on the spot. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The dentist received a call, which he went ahead to answer. My son was terrified, and I was disappointed. After the call, the dentist suggested that the tooth had to be removed. I agreed to it, and he went ahead. He did not pay attention to the exercise, and he ended up hurting my son’s jaw. This was pathetic, and we both left never to return to My La Mirada Dentist. Their services were Pathetic!
