Do not trust this company! I ordered a tree online last May (2015). I was sent a tree that looked dead. I was told it was dormant. I followed their instructions and waited 8 weeks (they told me that it would take that long for it to leaf out). It never leafed out. I tried calling their number and every time I did, I could get no live person. The message always said that they were experiencing a high volume of calls. I finally got someone to contact me back when I emailed them and threatened complaining to the BBB (of which, it turns out, they are not apart of) I contacted them because I had paid for replacement insurance (what a joke)! I was told that a new one wouldn”t ship until fall. So, I waited and waited and waited. I recontacted the person who had gotten back to me in the summer and she said they would ship late October or early November. It didn”t happen. So, mid-November I contacted them again. This time I was told they had just gotten a freeze and that the trees were going to be dormant soon and shipping would start November 16. I contacted them once again and today I get a message that says because of my shipping zone they won”t be shipping till spring. So, now I”m in the same boat – waiting. I am filing a second complaint with the BBB and will be finding a way to post on similar sites at this to get the word out. DON”T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I live in the Desert and they assured me they would grow in the desert sun. By the middle of June, one of only 2 that had any growth burned all the leaves off the second. This left me with 2 twigs sticking out of the ground. When I called to get a refund, they told me they would only give 1/2 off towards another purchase. Julia asked if I would entertain that. I said I couldn”t find anything that would grow in the desert. She insisted I talk to the sales people. So I did. Bill got on the phone, and he agreed with me that they don”t have any desert type trees. He sent me back to Customer Service and Julie answered again. I informed her of what Bill told me and she said there are no refunds. I insisted it was their error for selling a product that was not desert friendly. She started stating I put in the order, and I said congratulations, you are correct. She got mad and told me I was “a [censored]” and hung up on me. I am pursuing the refund with Visa and they said they will go after them. The hole thing that bothers me is I called them before I ordered and asked specifically if this would grow here, and they said yes, you are in Zone 9. Come to find out, Florida is Zone 9 and they would probably grow there, but not in Palm Springs, California.

I ordered 2 butterfly bushes which didn’t make it thru the winter. I called them and sent in pics as they requested. I was given one year credit. When I ordered other bushes using my credit and paying the balance to cover their ridiculously expensive shipping I waited and waited with no new bushes. Calling them they tell me it was shippe weeks ago. I asked to whom did they ship to?? No answer was given… then I was put on hold for 10 minutes. Now I find myself in someone’s voice mail. After we finally made contact he tells me he’s some kind of company manager. Now he’s asking me what I ordered like 7 weeks ago. I told him to look it up… “I forgot.” Yeah good idea he says… (this is management?) I give him credit card again, wait 3 weeks, no order. This went back and forth 3 times. Finally I cancelled the cc with the bank the third time now. I ordered a crape myrtle tree form this company via their sales representative. She was very helpful with the type of tree as well as the color based on my preferences and house colors. I ordered a pink crape myrtle from her on 10/26/2015. It came to me with only a brown stalk and a couple leaves. We planted it after receiving per the directions. The crape myrtle bloomed a couple weeks ago and low and behold it is PURPLE. I absolutely abhor the color purple and the rep knew this and suggested the pink or red. It looks awful next to my house and irritates me when approaching my home. I sent an email to Jennifer who then forwarded my pictures to a warehouse shipping man. He sent her back a message, per Jennifer, that I had ordered a purple Zuni crape myrtle. Bologna. I certainly did not. Either the rep put in the wrong item or the shipping department sent me whatever they had on hand and not what I ordered. This company stinks!

I ordered a Saucer Magnolia that was shipped with fungus. No big deal, Magnolias are prone to disease. I also ordered a Pink Flowering Dogwood. They sent it dormant. Two months later, it never came out of dormancy, it was dead and brittle. They WILL NOT REFUND, they will only ship you another at half cost. Don”t bother to call them. I was hung up on when I got pissed off.

I ordered plants and trees and paid extra for insurance just in case so my investment would be protected. Contacted them when the plants and trees didn”t make it thru the winter they did send me replacements (after I chucked out the money for return shipping) I asked them about purchasing insurance on the replacements and they told me it wasn”t needed. Well the replacements died almost immediately and they won”t replace, refund or even store credit!! They don”t stand behind their plants so that is sure sign they are just taking money and insurance money and running with it.

I ordered three shrubs online. Two arrived ok, one arrived dead. The ok shrubs were in pots with soil, the dead one was bare root with the roots in a plastic bag, wet paper towel wrapped around them. The plastic bag was steaming hot. We immediately misted the leaves, planted the shrub and watered it. It was clearly dead two days later, gray crisp leaves. I contacted customer support through their form and got a request for pictures of the shrub so that their nursery manager could review the pictures. i heard nothing more from them to resolve the matter. After two weeks I emailed them to ask what was going on and was told to just keep it planted and watered and it would come back. They added that they couldn’t send a shrub in soil to my address. REALLY??? I had received TWO shrubs in soil from them already… LIARS!! And the dead shrub is still dead. No refund, no replacement. $35 RIP OFF
