On January 31rst 2014I ordered furniture from NC Furniture Best Buys for the total of $2156.92. I was told that if I ordered that they had it in the warehouse and we would receive our furniture when we moved to NC. In Feb and March I contacted Rick at NCFBB and was told that they were waiting for the delivery company to pick up my furniture and put in their warehouse in NC for us. We arrived 31March 2014 and I called for our furniture. I was told that it was being shipped and that because it took ten days for any check to clear that my order was not in warehouse. Then I was told that they were waiting on the manufacture to ship it from “China”. What??? In April I spoke with “Karen” and was told that they were still waiting on the shipment. I then asked for a full refund of money. I told that they would not refund and if they did do refunds they take half the price an all shipping charges from money. I then spoke again in May to Karen and was told that they expected shipment to arrive and be delivered June 2014. At the end of May my husband checke the NCFBB website and found this statement “To Our Customers. Unfortunately, we are having to close the store due to poor sales. We have explored many options to keep our doors open without success; and as a result, we are left with no option but to close our doors on 6/3/14. We are heart-broken about having to close the store. We will not be processing any orders and our website will be non functional beginning on 4/3/14. Over the next sixty days we will be going over all our accounting records and will be in contact with you. The decision to close down this store was not an easy one and we enjoyed the relationships with our customers over the years. Customers who do not have their merchandise are permitted to dispute the charge with their credit card company. All other customers, we will be in contact with you regarding your order, but this will take time to work through. Sincerely, Furniture Best Buys I have yet to be contacted. Their e-mail and phone are not functioning .
