I went on a 3/4 boat, that i paid DOUBLE on $95.00 per person for limited load – the lady on the. i was fooled. big time. the lady on the phone told me they were only allowing 30 people. 1) i thought this was great so i paid DOUBLE the normal rate. t 2) They let on 40 people, 10 late that were their friends. 3) i arrived early to get a good spot on the boat. the crew made me move and let their friends catch all the fish. 4) i hooke up with a yellowtail, and the deck hand cut my line so his friend could get his fish in 5) crew was rude and manipulated the system to benefit their friends 6) the crew allowed thier friend to put his CATCH in ice water, so it would not dehydrate and he could win the biggest fish pot – this is very unethical as the crew keeps the money I am so dissappointed in this trip, the crew and newport landing that i am taking time out of my day to write this. do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on these guys. I would receomend dana point fishing boats – better fishing, nicer crew, and more honesty than newport landing. Sincerely, LF
