Brought vehicle for engine issue. Got estimate of repairs. Paid for repairs. Car came out worst than before repairs including the fact it was missing the fluids (which I told must have all leaked out on my ride to take it home). Really? I live a mile from the place, I think I would have noticed that much fluid leaking from my car! Not to mention it would have been all over my driveway! Brought back after filling it with fluids myself. Now saying they need at least another $2K because there are “new” issues with my engine. I already sunk in about that for the first repairs (which I NEVER would have done if I knew that is would be $4k!) Had car only a few days and drove it one time to the local store, they claim I must have done it. Wouldn’t make good on a mistake they made and I am out my $$ and a car to get to work. Funny, when I got the estimate I asked if the engine was ok and I was told that it was great actually and would outlast the car. Sounds like the missing fluids to the BONE DRY tank caused this damage! By the way North Smithfield Auto Center…I have pics of mileage and video of me driving all showing that this was within a mile or so of your release of my car to me. So don’t try and pull the BS! You should be ashamed of your oversight on your staff being lazy and forgetting a basic task and then causing damage to a customer who put their trust and hard earned money into you!
