I recently moved to Moline, IL and was requiring another vet for my cat. Let me simply state that I was just terribly disappointed by this place! I never write such posts online but I decided to write on today because this hospital is scamming their patients and other people should know about it.
I observed costs here to be somewhat more expensive than the other places around as these guys charge an extra $25 visit fee for your first appointment. The staff was so rude and harsh with my cat and was not willing to respond to any inquiries I had. Especially the lady named Linda at the front desk area was extremely ill-mannered. The office was not clean and dirt spots were all over the place. Dr. Tracy Earl is the worst vet I have ever worked with. She is loud, merciless and non-persistent. She went well beyond being ruthless and ignorant with my sweet kitty all through the visit. She examined my cat for less than 10 minutes and then showed us the door. She was not willing to answer any of my questions and was in a hurry to let the other client in. Their costs are unreasonabley high and the staff is unsupportive. In case you\’re searching for a vet, THIS IS NOT THE ONE. Dr.Tracy diagnosed my cat with a bladder infection, and Oak Knoll performed an in-house urinalysis for that. In light of the results, we were told she doesn’t have a UTI and they didn’t know what was happening, so they recommended us some other tests and an ultrasound for better results… We made an arrangement at the lab center, and they began with blood work, and then proceeded onward to ultrasound, even though the side effects and the symptoms my cat showed were indicating towards UTI they still went on with further tests. The ultrasound demonstrated genuinely extreme bladder irritation, predictable with a propelled bladder contamination and UTI, so they performed urinalysis. The urinalysis affirmed a propelled bladder contamination and UTI, which made Dr.Tracy exceptionally shocked because she could not rightly diagnose my cat even when the symptoms were so vivid.Oak Knoll\’s conspicuous misdiagnosis wound up costing us over $1,000 in superfluous vet bills. Every vet at Oak Knoll seems to be incompetent and unprofessional, just like the astonishingly unprofessional technicians who never answer any inquiries you may have via telephone. I kept calling them again and again regarding a medicine they prescribed but they never answered. I had to go to the clinic myself to inquire about the prescription but they told me to pay again for the visit even though I only had a little issue with the medicine. They force you to get unnecessary tests so that they can shoot up your bill. The building of the hospital is small and shabby and they badly need to get it renovated. The bathrooms are even worse than public bathrooms. They don’t care about your ailing pets. All they care about is Cash. They seriously need to fire their current staff if they want their hospital to stay in business.
