Here are my issues with this vet. My wife and I got a young pup around 2 months back and we took him to Oakwood Animal Hospital for the initial 2 appointments and shots. The first time they were somewhat empty, yet we assumed we came in on an off day and that can happen when you have creatures in the blend. Dr John did not address the majority of our inquiries rather ignored most of our questions. The cost was somewhat high and for our first visit, I was disappointed that it was done in such a way. The visit number two was even worse. When my wife took the little dog in this time, they were still similarly as slow yet they suggested that we do much more than was required; more faeces tests when everything had been done at half a month earlier, a couple of shots that they had said during our first visit we wouldn\’t require, and a value that cosmic once more. Give me a chance to back up a little and state that we requested an estimate during our first visit, they told us that the primary bill would be somewhat high; however the second would be less and gave us a touch of a layout of what it would be.
We are new to the network, just purchased our first house, and attempting to plan out our purchases a bit. So this was an alleviation that we thought they had helped make it simpler. So you can see my issue with the second bill being similarly as high. In conclusion, we went to another vet for our third visit, my family got a rebate for a referral and we got one for being \”new customers\” When we got to the new vet, we took our administrative work from our initial 2 visits to ensure we didn\’t get serious about shots. The vet at this area disclosed to us that 1-2 of the shots that we had gotten BOTH occasions were a YEARLY shot, and surprisingly this could have harmed our dog as he is quite sensitive and is allergic to various things. Moreover, it added an extra $30-$40 to my bill. I was really mad at Dr.John for being so inhumane. He should have kept this in mind before prescribing such medication. I also got to know that our dog did not require any additional tests which he suggested. I was exceptionally disappointed with the administration in this area. When you go in it appears as though they\’re hauling you through the mud, they likely are. If you still want to visit this shitty place, go in with the attitude ‘this is YOUR pet, and they can\’t do anything you don\’t need them to do. We won\’t return, even though it\’s actually across the road.
