Ohio Titles does not provide you with a title for your vehicle. Instead, they give you a stack of paperwork to be presented to your state court to arrange a hearing for your car title. I was shuffled from department to department in the courts as no one knew anything about this so-called “declaratory judgement” hearing. AFter traveling all over town, I was advised to get a lawyer and be prepared to pay at least $100 in court costs. This is all assuming anything would actually come of all this. Even if a hearing was actually scheduled, I would now have to take time off to go to court. Technically, Cohen isn’t exactly scamming you but, believe me, this is a total waste of money. It could never be worth all this trouble. BTW, I didn’t get my paperwork for 3 1/2 months and then only after calling and bugging this nasty guy. .
