I have to really agree that Omni Jewelcrafters have no customer service skills and have poor products. I have had my engagement ring for less than a year and my side diamonds have fallen out on four separate occasions. On one occasion the diamond fell out less than 24 hours after I got the ring fixed. I asked for the ring to be fixed and they told me to stop crying because I was going to get the ring fixed and these were Jack’s words. Jack is the owner of all the Omnis. I asked him if I could get the band replaced and he said no problem, but when I got the ring back they did not replace the band. They told me they were going to replace the band and if that is what I wanted. However, now they say they are never going to do that. Also, warranty is an issue. They keep changing the warranty rules. First, its lifetime and now they say its two years. I asked for the warranty on paper, but they say their word is good enough. NEVER SHOP THERE!

OMNI Jewelcrafters Reviews & Complaints
I purchased my wedding band from Omni Jewelcrafters and a few years later when I tried to appraise it for insurance purposes, I found out that a the gold band that I paid over $600 for was actually Silver! Unfortunately at this point, I cannot find my receipt as I have moved several times. I recall ordering a band, receiving it and noticing a defect (chipped diamond). The sales person gave me the ring that was in the showcase, so it is quite possible a silver replica was given to me by mistake, but I feel genuinely ripped off now knowing the real value of the ring I made my vows with :(.
OMNI Jewelcrafters Reviews & Complaints
I recently “won” two items in the Omni Jewelcrafters auction – a pair of diamond stud earrings valued at $4200 by Omni, and a diamond bracelet valued at $17, 000.00 by Omni. I tried to get an independent appraisal from Omni about the value of the pieces and got a runaround; after pushing them I received in appraisals. I was suspicious after they were willing to issue an appraisal for the earrings without even looking at them. After some discussion, I took both the earrings and the bracelet to EGL Labs, who Omni uses exclusively to value its diamonds. The appraiser at EGL said that he had the bracelet in his office the day before and refused to issue an appraisal, either through Omni or to myself directly. I had an independent appraiser from GIA Labs look at both pieces; they valued the earrings at $3000, and the bracelet at $7, 000 – a $10, 000.00 difference. Either Omni misrepresented the valuation of these pieces or was grossly incompetent, particularly with the bracelet. It is no wonder that the appraiser at EGL examined the bracelet and then refused to issue an appraisal. It would force him to either contradict a major client or to break ethics and participate in the misrepresentation. Despite his abruptness, I commend him for refusing to issue the appraisal, as that was the correct and ethical action to take in his situation. In light of the valuations by the GIA lab and the price that I paid (about 1/2 of the GIA appraisals) I decided to keep the pieces. However, I will never do business with Omni again and would recommend that others stay away because of these unethical markups and appraisals. patrick.[protected]@gmail.com
