On 9/2/2014 I entered a renewal order for a domain I have with Omnis Network LLC on omnis.com. On 9/9/2014 I received confirmation that the company received my check. I then received a second email stating that the price had gone up after I completed the transaction and that I will have to pay the higher fee in order to activate my domain. I informed the company that this practice is quite illegal not to mention unethical, but they insist that they have a right to charge me the higher rate because I used the slower form of payment by check. Since when do companies not have to honour the price of their service or product at the time of the transaction? I have pdf copies of the invoice I sent with my check and can provide copies of the correspondence as well. Thank you for your assistance. .
