I was enticed off the street with someone offering a sample moisturizer. Before I knew it I was being given a free facial. SURE FREE!!!! by an expert from Last Vegas. Ended up it was no such person. Of course, they used the right side of the face which receives less sun because driving puts more sun on the left side on a regular basis. They told me all the things I needed for this “reduced” price that would last me 2 to 3 years and presented me with the charge to sign. Never mentioned there was “a no return policy”. They said they do not have quantity merchandise in the store so they would ship the merchandise. heavy in the suit case. I began to feel a little uncomfortable about the whole experience. When I got back to the hotel I went on the internet and looked at the complaint and fraud filings. They were just exactly what I had experienced.I immediately went back to the store and asked for a refund. They said there was a “no return” policy. I said I have not received the product so just cancel the order. They said no it had already shipped. I said how could it have shipped in the last several hours when the product was being shipped from some other place? I asked for the manager. Of course, there wasn’t one available. I said I want to talk to one right now on the phone. They gave me some name to call. I said I want to call them right now from the store. They said they couldn’t use their phones to phone out!!!!! I could not get reception on my phone from that location because I was in Maui and I live in CA. I contacted my credit card company to have them stop payment. Good luck on that. This company knows exactly what they are doing! They make it impossible to contact anyone. No return calls from Customer Service. No response from their e-mail where you are suppose to be able to leave a concern.

I purchased products from Orogold Cosmetics, 518
I purchased products from Orogold Cosmetics, 518 Duval Street, Key West, FL on Friday 10/24/14 at 10:36PM for $2150, but I did not take possession of the product at the time of purchase, as they were to be shipped to me in SC. I returned to the store on Saturday 10/25 to cancel the order because I decided I did not want the products, but the store was closed. I called the store number listed on the receipt as well as the Customer Service toll free number in CA to leave voicemails re: cancellation. I returned to SC on Sunday 10/26. On Monday 10/27, I called the store and Customer Service again, and sent emails re: cancellation. I have completely documented all phone records, emails and subsequent UPS tracking records. I was finally contacted by Customer Service in CA and by the store manager in Key West and was advised that they have a strict No Refund policy even though the order had not been shipped and was still in their possession. I deem this enforcement of the policy in this instance to be baseless and unethical. I was also not advised of this policy at the time of purchase. Despite my request to cancel, UPS tracking documents indicate it was packaged and shipped three days later on 10/30 at 8:00 PM. The package was delivered to my home and left at the front door by UPS on 11/04 because Orogold waived a required signature; I arranged for UPS to pick up the package (which remained unopened) for return on 11/05. UPS attempted to deliver the package to Orogold on 11/17, but it was refused according to UPS tracking records. UPS then considered the package to be “abandoned by both sender and receiver” and was irretrievably disposed of by UPS. I had filed a dispute with my credit card provider and the charge was temporarily reversed until they received a Chargeback Response from Orogold stating that I “knew of their policy” and to “Please reverse chargeback since customer did not return the product she received”. This is an absolute fabrication and is clearly a fraudulent attempt to validate their claim by refusing return of the package. These details are thoroughly documented by the UPS tracking records. I contacted UPS and was advised that they are unable to retrieve abandoned packages. My credit card provider has now reissued the charge because they will not interfere with or attempt to interpret the company’s No Refund policy any other way, and they cannot indict the store for what appears to be fraudulent statements and less than ethical practices. They also stated that only the store has the right to waive their policy in this instance and process a refund. I am now faced with paying a $2000 charge for products that I do not possess and were disposed of because the vendor refused the return and then claimed that I did not return the product. This was willfully executed by Orogold solely to capture the sale and invoke their no refund policy despite the fact that it was still in their possession and had not been shipped at the time of verbal and written cancellation. I have no other recourse than to file this complaint.
Avoid this store at all costs.
Avoid this store at all costs. I stupidly entered and walked out with a product that I did not like when I got home. I looked at the receipt for return information and there are no returns. Only store credit. I don’t want any other products from the store so I am now stuck with a $150 item that I should have never purchases. Kicking myself now for it. The sales men are very pushy and totally sucked me in to their sales scam.

9-9-15. Atlantic City, Harrah”s Resort & Casino. I was as big a fool as many others who have written. I had just arrived (c. 1:15 pm, after having had only two hours of sleep the night before and getting off a plane) was accosted by one sales person as I walked by the shop who wanted to show me product for bags under my eyes (not surprising given the lack of sleep and plane flight). I stupidly let him; after showing me how well the eye “stuff” worked, he.then he passed me off to another clerk. This one asked what I used on my face, when I told this one that I just used hand lotion on my face, he pretended great horror and proceeded to show me a number of products, to tell me how much other women just spent, to “demonstrate” on his hand a defoliant and moisturizer, to tell me how much I would like how I looked after using the products. I told him repeatedly I didn”t buy anything on the first day and I didn”t use cosmetics. He made a “package” of products the price for which he would greatly reduce (to about $399!!). I said no; he added what he said were two small containers of a night and a day moisturizer which would last a year and told me he would give me a certificate for a 15 minute demonstration of a facial wrinkle remover (as opposed to the eye wrinkle/bag remover). I said no. He then took away one product and said how about these for $300; I said no. He took away another product, leaving what he told me was a defoliant and the day and night cream for $199.00. I was so tired of it all, I gave in. What a fool!! I”m retired and on a fixed income. I have a PhD – I should have known better. What I got: one day moisturizer; one deep peeling agent; one wrinkle tightening solution that is NOT specifically for eyes. After I left, I went on line and read that there are no refunds for these products. Also read so many negative reviews (except for those on the Oro Gold website). This company preys on women as bad as Reader”s Digest used to do with their mailings. It should be put out of business.

After a high pressured sales pitch from the manager, who stated his family owned the company (which I highly doubt), I purchased some Oro Gold products to try. I was not told at any time that I would not be able to return the products if I was not satisfied. As I was driving home, I noticed that the arm Shai, the sales person, had used in his demonstration was beginning to itch, and that my left eye, where he had placed the eye creams, was beginning to swell. When I got home, I checked the ingredients, and realized that the products contained wheat proteins. I have a SEVERE wheat allergy. Granted, I should have checked the products more closely before buying, but having had this issue in the past, I took 500 mg of Benadryl to get rid of the hives on my arm and stop my eye from swelling and decided to return the products the next day. (Driving after taking that much Benadryl was out of the question.) When I tried to return the products, I was informed that they do not do returns and Shai stated that there was no way I had had a reaction to the products. As anyone with severe allergies knows, putting products on your body that you are allergic to is out of the question. I am now stuck with over $300 in products that I will never use. Be very wary of this company, their sales people, and their lies.

After an allergic reaction to their cosmetics, returned merchandise. After a prolonged battle, received a credit card refund, even though the SF outlet initially refused. Today I received an attepted virus attack on my phone, from Orogold SF, with the return phone number [protected]. Since I know their reputation well, I deleted the message without opening.

April 19 2017 I was shopping on the Lynnhaven Mall in Virginia Beach VA. I was stopped and offered a free sample of one of the products. I was then pulled in the store to sample other products. The sales person was polite and chatty. I purchased the products and returned to the hotel. I began using the product but by the time I got home my eyes were itching red and watering. It was the product. Live 400 miles away so I contacted the store by email. I was told to contact customer service. When I did I was told by customer service that it would be up to the store where I purchased the products. I was told there was a no refund policy and that I knew that when I purchased the products. At no time was I told that it was non refundable. There was not a sign in the store stating that and I did not see the receipt until I got to the hotel which had no refunds on the bottom of it. I contacted my credit card company to see if they could secure a refund. Nope. I am stuck with a 2600.00 dollar credit card bill. This company should not be allowed to continue in business. They are a scam and fraudulent in their business practices.

At the North County Fair Westfield shopping center in Escondido California. Date and time- January 27th, 6 PM The sales people always stand outside their store trying to sell their product. As I walked by the sales person he came over to me and asked if I wanted a sample, I smiled and said no thank you. He got a little closer and he said, “Can I ask you a question?” I again said, “No thank you.” He leaned over and he said quietly, “You weigh too much”. Obviously he was mad that I didn”t take the sample but he was rude. He was a slim man, I would guess 25 or so. He was neatly groomed, short black hair and really black full eyebrows.

At the Oro Gold store, at the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, I purchased Caviar Cream for $500.00 and the sales person told me that if I purchased another cream she would give it to me for 1/2 price. I did tell the sales person that I had allergies and most of the products I use are prescriptions made at a compound pharmacy, she assured me that all ingredients were all natural and fragrance free. I contacted her later that afternoon and stated that the cream she sold me had given me a migraine and I needed to return it, once again I reminded her I had an allergy problem. She said no problem. Well, I went to return it today, within the allowed 7 days, told the sales person I needed to return it, they now tell me it was a promotion! She never told me it was a promotion. The sales person today, told me that I needed to contact Oro Gold Customer Service to discuss this matter. Customer Service told me that it was up to the store”s discretion whether to return/refund or not. I was not the only customer at the store this morning, there was another customer with the same problem, she developed a rash under her eyes and needed medical attention! It”s a con! The minute they give you a deal there is no way you”ll get your money back even with all the receipts! I contacted my credit card and they will be handling this matter, they are going to dispute the charges. I did give the store the option of settling it today but they prefer to take their chances with the credit card company. Read the reviews on independent sites, you”ll be dumbfounded at the negative experience people have had with this company.

Beware beware ladies!!! Do not go in that store you will regret it. Liars and cheats. Yes, another bad review for orogold. It seems the mindset is to ripoff the customers. I was made aware of the brute force sales tactics prior to my visit but when i refused to go for it, my credit card was charged 7 times what i purchased. They were extremely fraudulent. It took a huge attack against them to get the charges off of the credit card. A month later i had fraudulent charges on it from the same country as the orogold store owner, what are the odds??? When a company acts this fraudulent, you have to wonder about the quality of the product.

Buyers, consumers and shoppers be aware Stay away from Orogold stores and productss as many of you have been reporting and been taking advantage of these scan artists. We are a victim of fraud, just like many have reported here and especially the Orogold in Hawaii stores while on vacation and the practically Hawaii Honolulu Hilton Village store. The sales person lied, misrepresented the refund policies to us, we both asked him about it, prior and again after the sale took place and he lied and lied and completely misinformed us. That is illegal in all states . The honest to God truth is that we were told, we will have guarantee 30 day full, I say again, FULL money back gurantee refund if the products are returned with 30days, no issues full refund. That is what he said. Now these owners of the store or the managers ignore the fact that their own staff, their own sales person lied and misrepresented these facts and we are out $4000. They just say, this store does not give refunds. BS, you lied about the refund policy to us, we asked directly and your person lied to us to make sale. On top if that, before the worthless junk of your products that harms many people who had reported was shipped, I tried to reach you guys to discuss option and You Honolulu store owner, never returned my calls directly to discuss and I tried for a week. So we refused the packages and returned them unopened to you back to Hawaii and since late July you are playing games by sandbagging. Now we have no products and out $4K. You will get exposed, you offered no resolution and you have cheated us and many innocent people. Do not hide behind that stupid sales recepit wording. It means nothing when your staff mislead, misrepresent and told us untrue statements when we asked directly about your store and company full refund policy, and he lied. When like many we filled a complaint, they come out all humble and act like they care and want to work with us. The fact is, they don”t, especially this Honolulu store. They said we got one hour facial treatment, all lies, we were on vacation and we were heading to our preplanned excursion event and we told them we have no time and they kept pushing us, so we were there 12 minutes total and on line lied and said we got 1 hour facial. Please, stop being so damn unreal. They said they explained every product we got. No, that is a lie too. We got this POS device uses Infrared light and a quick 4 min information on a tablet was given to pressure sales the junk to us, said go home and learn about it on the website. Then the sales person lied more about the refund policy to make us feel safe and close the deal knowing that we were going for a ride. So, all the crap they said was not true. A quick under the eye cream, a 7 min stupid device treatment and push push BS and that was it. Orogold of Honolulu, You owe it to us to fully refund us based on your shoddy business tactics and your salesperson*s lies . Orogold of Hawaii store in Honolulu is a scam, people stay away, and whomever has been harmed and this store please share your information and take action. Others are doing it, make sure you understand what they are doing, they are scruples, unethical and unprofessional lairs who push to make a big sale, then they hit you with No refund policy and restrictions and want you to give up on refund. Well, because they have harmed many, they will not get away with it, not anymore, there are laws, and they are not above it. Honolulu store, has not offered any response directly since I tried to reach out to the Manager or owner, they have ignored me, they just tell their Corp customer care, no refund, because we are no refund store. Even though it has been discussed with them that their sales person lied to us, I guess that doesn”t mean much. So cheating, omission, lies, misrepresentations of facts, is ok with Orogold corporation and in particular their Honolulu store owners. I gave them so many chances to do the right thing, they still offer me nothing in refund, or resolution and their customer service at the corporate level just said, for my inconvenience, they will give me $500 store credit. Are you F kidding me? I want nothing to do with you thieves. Give my money back, that is what you can do…No thanks, As others suggested too, we are going to notify all the people who you have harmed and scammed, all the world will know about you, the US watch dogs and consumer groups will know, you will hurt noone anymore. So, you can start by refunding my money. Make it right or be prepared to resolve.

Dana, a vendor of Mazal Enterprise”s Oro Gold cart in Ontario Mills Mall @ 1 Mills Circle #25, Ontario, CA 91764 – promised a “money back guarantee” several times during her ten minute product demonstration. Any sign stating their return policy was intentionally obscured and Dana stamped the receipt “NO REFUNDS” only AFTER running my credit card. I immediately protested to her trickery but she refused to honor her promise. I contacted Ontario Mills management, Barbara Meaders attempted to secure a refund for me. Oro Gold was obstinate and further insulted me by offering a $100 refund for the $391.50 worth of products that I purchased.
OroGold Cosmetics Reviews & Complaints
Here are the facts as it transpired. Overview: We got pushed and pressured to purchase products from this company which we did not know at the time their business “MO”. As a consumer, and from what the “salesperson” had advised and their receipt indicated, we could get 100% money back gurantee no questions asked within 30-days. As you review the brief below, timelines and how and what happend, you can conculde their intent is to sandbag, delay and pressure a person to keep the prodcuts at all costs and never have any intentions to help or resolve the matter. We tried to resolve this many times but we could not get anyone at the management level to assist nor get a call back to help us before it was delivered in spite of many, many attempts by us to do so. Once we got the product, we refused it, it was unopened and returned to the shipper with plenty of the witness and photos to prove that. Once it was delivered to the shipper, they refused it. They told the shipper to send it back to their warehouse or whatever it is (shipper), and the only one communciation I had after many days with the so called in store level customer service, his advice to me was, to refuse the package and dispute it. I found that to be very strange and I wanted to do this properly but they are not responding to us and the shipping company which had documented everything as well. To this date, in spite of many attempts to reach them and get a so called person in charge to make this right, and assist us, we have not heard back at all. So we are out 4000 dollars in products we never used or openned nor we have the product at our possession and OROGOLD is playing games onthe return. Time lines: On July 26, 2018 while on vacation they playend their sales tactic game as we were walking by to come into their store, take a break and enjoy a free product and a special deal only for today and only for a few hours and while they offered us to sit down and eat a expensive choclate and sit down and get a “free” test ficial nonsense for my wife and some under eye profuct for reduced price and we purchase for $316.16 and wanted to walk out. When we had procedded to walk away, they proceeded to push a great device which now I know was the real deal they wanted to capture. They said, how about quick spa facial treatment with this product you can see the difference and it is unbelievablely reduced price and he will through in so many goodies. We said we have to go and they kept pushing and pushing and pushing. So my wife started the treatment as the other person was working on me with the special deal and how good this product is and only a few left at this price. I said let me think about it, I don’t know if I can spend that kind of money. He kept saying, no worries, it has money back 30 day gaurantee and this and that and there is no way you can lose and so on and on. This device was the “infrared” treatment at the professional level and you can get at home for skin care. Today he said the price tag is so reduced and so many other free creams and lotions and etc I can include because we have a coupon to include right now but you need to get this now. I still was not comfortable but it was just my wife’s Bday and I thought with the 30 day money back, what could be the issue. So we got pushed to purchase it. A few days later on July 29t, 2018, around 12noon PST, and before they even shipped anything from their so called store in Hawaii I had contacted the sales Rep that helped us inquired about when the shipping will arrive and etc and recieved very vague response and no shipping info and said probably be shipped 5 to 7 business days and he said, to “promote him”! I felt uneasy and I took it upon my self to research this company and it was there when we found out what a scam and unethical business and all the multiple issues people had for years and trying to get refunds or the product was not even worth what it was and most certainly the device they sold us for over 3600 dollars alone was not really proven to do anything. I spoke with my wife, she saw the reports too and we had decided to cancel our order before it was shipped and get our money back. So I had contacted again the salesperson on that day who supposedly wanted us to promot him and give us this great deal that will be shipped to us within 5 to 7 business days and etc, and I said, I really do not want the items, I cannot afford it and I really want to stop this process from shipping and get my money back. He said, he doesn’t work at that store but call the “customer service” number on Monday which would be July 30th on the card I gave you (which is the store at Hawaii) and a customer service will help you with it. I actually did not want to wait until that time, and I called the store in Hawaii and I told them who I was, in fact the other younger heavy acent lady who was double tagging us on this pressure sell, answered the phone. I said, I want my refund and I want the shipping to be stopped since it had not left Hawaii’s warehouse and I want the manager call me back ASAP. She took all my info and said the manager is not here but will be in soon and will have him call you. I had waited and waited and no call back. On Monday July 30th, I called in the morning and it sounded like the same lady answered and I again reminded her who I was and why I am calling and that noone called me and I need a manager or someone in charge to call me today. She said yes of course and took my number and info down again. I called later on again and someone else (a lady) answered the phone, she says, I see your notes but no manager yet. I said, I don’t care, I need this resolved, I need someone in charge to call me and I do not want these products and want my refund. Again I was told someone will call me and apologized for them and said they will call soon. On Aug 3rd 2018, I called at 9:51AM PDT to the salesperson who helped me again and no response was recieved. On Aug 3rd, I called the store again 2:11PM PDT and I said, it has been 2 days and noone had returned my call. I want my refund and I want it now. She asked for my receipts info, I said I give it to you guys many times, do you not see all my notes, this guy said it is my first day and I am new, can I have your info again. I said I need to talk to someone who is not new and better yet get me someone in charge, where is the manager, he said, he will be here in 4 hours, I gave him all the info, I told him what I wanted and he said no problem, they will call you. Aug 4, 2018 at 9:04 PDT. I called again. Got another low level sales person, I said, where is the manager, this is going on near a week and I had left countless messages and he is not returning my phone call. I want the shipping to stop and I want my refund. She apologize for this delay and said I prmoise someone will call you. I said I am getting very upset and this is not right. Aug 5, 2018 at 11:13 PDT. I called again, since as promised on AUG 4th, noone called and I told them this has to stop, I am calling their corporate office and reporting this as the worse customer service experience we ever had and that they are delibrately trying to avoid me and not calling me back. She said, no, the manager is coming in 1 hour and will call you and don’t worry. Aug 6, 2018 at 14:31 I called again to ask for anyone who can help and they said the managet will be here in 1 hour, we know you have been waiting for all this time and we are sorry and we will get him to call you to resolve this issue. Aug 6, 2018 a bit later, we were out and the Fedex had left two boxes for us on the porch. I called them at 9:01PM PDT on that night, told them I am refusing these boxes and that I have been trying to reach anyone there and I am not accepting this shipping and will be sending it back. I still want someone to call to document all this and why is there anyone returning my call since end of July. On Aug 6, 2018 on 9:16PM PDT, for the first time since end of July, a person called, with a heavy accent and hard to understand, and introduced himslef as “Antonio” and he is the in store customer service and wants to help me. So I told him exactly what I have been trying to do, and trying to reach their manager or even someone at his level and never got a call back until now. Of course he started to apologize and said he will help me to get the refund. I told him, I have refused the pacakge and it will be in Fedex and sent back. He proceeded to say, oh you should have refused it. I said how can I when I did not have any information which shipping you guys using, nor any tracking number been privided and for almost a week I was trying to stop this pacakge from even leaving let alone get a call back to get assistance. So I am refusing it and per Fedex, if no signature is required and the package is unoppend (which these are) and we were not home to receive it, we can return it as refused and I have left many messages that I want to refuse this package but you guys never called me back. So he proceeded to say, “ok, ok I will help you and I will talk to the manager and call you back tomorrow”. I said you better because I heard this story for a week almost. He promised and we left at that. He said something about the shipping warehouse and the computer code not being able to but he will talk to the manager to fix it don’t worry. I said I am not keeping this and I am refusing this package and I sending it back tomorrow. He said just wait till tomorrow and if refuse it and dispute with your CC company. I said why do I need to do that when this package is refused and it is coming back to you guys and I want my money back. Plus I have a receipt and witness that your salesperson said, 30 day money back gurantee. He said but it has left Hawaii, I said so? Then you should have returend my calls days ago. He said, “ya, sorry about it” I will call you tomorrow. Aug 7, 2018 at 15:08. I waited and he did not call and I contacted him and said, his packages are sent, I got proof it is unopened and FedEx accepted the as refused and whatever happend to the manager. He called me back and said, I cannot get a hold of the manager and the computer code is not allow me and made up bunch of sad excuses. I said, well the packages are returning to the shipper address and I want my money. He said just dispute it. I said I prefer not but if that is what you are suggesting I guess we will . Aug 8th 2018, I tried to reach Antonio one las time but he never responded. I proceeded to dispute and document everything with my CC and I also provided them with the Fedex tracking and they are working on it. I also got a call from the local branch Fedex, who verified and saw the unoppend packages sealed and secured and she was following up with me and has opend a case. She also said she had tried to reach the shipper to inform them that the pakages are refused and are on the way back, it took her nearly two days and several run around to get someone. Finally she got a hold of a manager called “Ido” she informed him these packages are being shipped back and confrimed the address and he had responded to her “OK”! All this is documented by Fedex and their report by the way. The shipment was sent and was delivered to their warehouse address and supposedly another manager at the facility told the driver that we cannot accept it and refused it. So now the fedex is trying to let them know that is not a normal policy and are having a hard time getting a person to cooperate with them. As far as I am told, I am no longer responsible for the package, it was my right to refuse and I did and the shippment was returned to the shipper in secure and unopened manner. What did OROCAL do to assist or resolve this issue? Nothing. Only by some unknown person in the store level calling himself their customer service, said to refuse and dispute. What do I expect? I want my full funds returned, I expect customer service in timely fashion, I expcted real assistance and I wanted a phone call from the so called manager many days prior the shipping. Is that too much to ask? What I got instead: Much unneeded stress and wasting of my time following up for days, lipservice, getting no help or assistance no matter how hard I tired or getting someone to call me back with real intention to resolve this case in a timely and professional manner. I was hoping for a civil settling which would been return of the product in a perfect unopened boxes and they refund me my full money back. What I got was scam-like situation and whole buch of delays and sandbagging and nonsense. What should be done to correct this type of cases: As you can read many on line issues and reports and comments from many consumers across this country who had samiliar dealings with this company and reported their cases to the BBB and some even to the consumer protection agencies, this company still operates in a awaful and unethical business manner. Hi, I would like to inform you that I bought a bunch of your products from a distributor store inside the Valencia Town Center in Valencia California. Now, the person who sold me these Products persuaded me to by them, saying that eventually it will help me with any wrinkles I may have, any blemishes, ext. I would just like to let you know that so far the only thing these products have done for me is give little rashes on my face that hurt to the touch. The Skincare Specialist who sold me these products is named Benjamin Shimoni. I am greatly disappointed with these products. I spend 8 Thousand Dollars on these products total hoping for good results, and instead I got bad results. I am still using the product with either hope or so I can get down to the local store in Las Vegas where I live and show them what this product did to me, and try to get a refund, and bring my print out credit card transactions with me for both the cards I used so we could pop it back on the card. For 8 Thousand Dollars I expected excellent results, but instead my face is itchy, and it feels rashy. When I walked into that store and after I left I felt like they were being dishonest to me. When I first came in the store the lady that helped me got me to by 2 ointments for about $10 and she scheduled me for a FREE Facial. I thought it was a good deal at that time. When I went to get the free while I was lying on the table and after Benjamin Shimoni who was the Skincare Specialist after he already started working on me stopped, and showed me his products and pressured me into buying them. I told him that I can’t afford much which I told them from the beginning. I kind of thought I would be spending up to 1000 dollars for the products, which I didn’t mind so much if the products worked. My eyes lit up when he told me that for just each of these different sets of cosmetics would be 1500 dollars each, which brings my total to 3 hundred. I gave him my two credit cards since the amount wouldn’t fit on one card, but it seemed that they added extra charges to my card. He pressured me into getting an Electra, which brought my total to 6 Thousand dollars, and when I had already given my credit cars and license and was about to pay and get out he told me that there is a 2000 dollar extra fee for the Platinum, and he still had my cards in his possession. When I told him that I didn’t think I had enough on that card, his response was “let me try to run the cards through and see”. My only 2 credit cards I own are maxed out, The Products I bought Do Not like my skin, and Christmas is coming. I would rather settle this fare and just go to one of the distribution locations and get a refund or at least a reasonable amount back, since I do realize that bringing this issue to court give Orogold Cosmetics a bad reputation, so if I can help it, I don’t want to go to court.

I bought the Oro Gold exfoliator and hand cream from an agent at the Eastgate shopping centre, JHB under, I must say complete duress and false pretences. The agent showed me the product and I was really impressed. As I suffer with very dry feet not being able to wear closed shoes, the agent told me this would be very good for me. I purchased this product for R700.00 and was so impressed by the sales talk and demonstration, I came home and showed all my family and friends, to my dismay when I started to use this product, it actually does NOT WORK. I have to put the cream on 5 times a day to keep my hands and feet soft and moist. a week later my son and I went back to Eastgate and I saw another rep I called her and told her how disappointed I am in the product and that I want to lodge a complaint – I had put cream on my hands that morning about an hour before I got to Eastgate and she smelt my hands and said I had not used your product she then called one of her colleagues over and he smelt my hand and stated that I did not have your cream on my hands. i have sent an email to them to complain i could only find an overseas email no South African Local address to be found and the response was ” we do not honour returns” and many people i have come into contact with have the same complaint

I had an appt in a nearby building and there were two employees out in front on sidewalk as usual trying to give away their products. I declined as always. I had to pass by again on the way out from my appt and one employee basically would not let me pass without giving me products. So I took them trying to be polite and was on my way to another appt. He ushered me into the store to “try a product on my hand” and then told me to take a seat (why???) so like an idiot I did. He then tries to put some sort of eye product on my face to which I said repeatedly – no!! He says it won”t mess up my make up. It did as the cotton ball had my make up all over it but when I noticed that it was already too late. He then brings a fan to dry this crap on my undereye area. It felt like eggwhite, very tight. He claimed I had eye bags which I do not. So he finished his bs and i”m trying to hightail it out of there when he tries to talk about some machine they sell. I said no. Then his coworker comes over to appraise the [censored] he put under my eye and said oh it looks so good now let”s address your deep creases and they thought they were going to apply their [censored] all over my face. How does this place stay in business? I don”t have deep creases. They just tried to make me feel inadequate so that i”d walk out of there with this [censored] products. They should be driven out of business.

I passed by the Orogold store and the sales lady named Carla lured me in by saying she can help me with my facial blemishes. I was interested so after about 40 minutes of being introduced to several facial products she asked me how I plan to make my payment before I commited to buy anything. I spent close to $700 worth of facial products with my credit card. I felt pressured to buy it all since she was convincing but not once did she mention the return policy. After I left the store I felt like I didnt need the night cream because some of the other products I purchased already covers a night cosmetic. Also, she mentioned that all the products were made in Italy. I noticed on the packaging that they were made in Japan or USA. I decided to return one product and Carla said I can only exchange it for another cosmetic. I felt deceived. This store needs to make sure they disclose their return policy before customers make any purchase large or small.

I purchased $690 worth of cosmetics after a highly pressured sales pitch on many of their products. I was just going to get the 24K multi-vitamin peeling after it was demonstrated on my skin. After using it on and off over next several months I developed an excoriated area on my face where it was used. My dermatologist recommended stop usage of it. I also used the eye serum and eye cream on and off for many months and developed tearing eyes, excoriation under the eyes and stopped using it after again my dermatologist said to. When I contacted them, it has been 9 months, they said under no exception would they refund any of my money. This place is a rip-off, good customer service in good faith would refund a portion. I have at least 2/3 of the creams left. Don”t go into this store!

i purchased several items from Orogold on March 23, 2015. The sales person expressed how long each product would last! The Serum she said was enough to use daily for 1 year! Other products are supposed to last 1 1/2 years. Today is June 7, 2015! That”s just over 2 months and it ran out last night. What a rip off! This product cost $350! I certainly considered the daily expense of these products over a year to year and a half. I have used this product strictly as instructed. One pump a night…less than pea sized. What I thought would cost about $30./month was $175. I loved the product but would not purchase again. The other products are disappearing just as fast! Two of them have a pump and the empty contents of the jar are visible. I can tell they are nearly 1/4 gone when the should be 1/10 gone! What a rip off!

I too purchased these products but felt I had spent to much money. I tried to return them and the owner or manager of the story told me they were not returnable. He failed to tell me this when I purchased them. He was very slick and did most of the things that were in other complaints. I have never used these products because I am waiting for my credit card company to try to get my money back. According to the state of CA, if there are no refunds, then the store has to have a sign showing this. There was no sign nor did he tell me. Hate scam artist. and this store and employees are truly are scam artist. Nona R.
