1. Health card (insurance), we still don”t have any. Anything that requires medical care will be for reimbursement but it usually takes them a month for reimbursement. Just to reiterate that I will be one year in the company by mid year. Employees have been and are sick and they don”t believe it, the employees cannot go and have themselves checked because of monetary issues. 2.Overtime. We don”t have any overtime pay. Our contracts states that we work 8.30-5.30, Sunday-Thursday. Saturdays are an on call basis if there ar projects needed be finished or submitted asap. We are never paid for it as overtime. Now, the boss wants us to work on a Saturday continuously, but as I can see – it deviates from the contract we signed. He said that it will be for 6months but no memo or official announcement nor meeting was done. Most of the employees are working more than 48hours (maximum as per labour law). Sometimes they go home by 8pm, midnight or 2am and they are not complaining even there”s no extra pay since it”s a project and we have 2-days off. 3.Can the company A send one employee to company B to substitute for another employee? This is not a sister company, as what the boss said, company B is a major financier to company A (not written in any official paper just verbal). So since one employee will be on leave, company B requested an employee from company A to substitute for them for a certain period. Boss of company A said that he will ask for some sort of allowance, transpo, if boss from company B agrees. The employee usually travels from home to office for an hour and 15-minutes, if that employee will be sent to company B as substitute then travel will be 2-hours going to office and 2-hours coming home which is utterly unfair for the employee. I really want to report this to the Labour Department but I am too afraid that they might get back at me.
