I purchased a Suzuki sv 650s to ride for the summer. I was in the process of moving from Ohio the North Dakota. I picked the bike up one day before I left for two weeks to Ohio. When I picked the bike up I tried the horn and it didnt worm. I was told that it had been sitting awhile and needed to charge from riding. The next day I left with the bike sitting in my garage. When I returned two weeks later there was two large stains under the bike. One from the motor and the other from the front hydraulic fork. Also when I tried to start it it was completely dead. I went back to the shop and purchased a trickle charger for 35 buck. Not making a deal out of the battery. I asked them about the leaks and they told me that it was as is and there was nothing they would help me with. I told them it being an older bike I would buy the parts to fix if they would just do the work. I was then told that I only spent 3500 on the bike and they would do nothing. I then argued with the owned and he gave me a new battery and told me to leave. Unfortunately they didn’t even know what battery I needed and gave me a battery that wasn’t even close to fitting. After a week of fighting that they told me I owed for the new one that fit. When I told the parts guy what was going on he told me he he didn’t have time to argue and to get the h*** out. I have take the bike to another shop to get the gasket fixed for $195. The front seals on the forks will cost me $350 dollars.and to top this awesome experience off I put the new battery in and finally got to ride for about a week or so, when I went out to start the bike up and the battery is dead and the bike will not start again. So I know now that it has something to do with the regulator and not the battery. I have asked why I am getting no help from them and their response is I only spent $3500. So maybe it cost more to buy customers service. .
