I acquired PC Power Speed unknowingly about a year ago and it was reverted to a twice daily pop up of their logo on my computer screen along with a telephone numer – (866) 855-3182. The full screen advertisement, since I called them and asked to have it removed, has been escalted to a daily occurance from the once weekly showing before, mainly to punsh me for my call and refusal to ay ythe $380.00 to ha ve it removed. The PC Power Speed reps all talk with a thick Indian accent and seem to thi k their software is a superb money-making incursion si nce it prompted my call, but not my money. I have threatened a Federal Trade Commission complaint, but have hesitated because I don;t know if the FTC has jurisdiction. .
