Based on my short conversation with the customer service representative, and her offensively bad manners, I must question the ethics of this company. First, they called me via a computer-generated call. When I answered, the computer voice said I would be given to the next available operator. Well, I don’t know when corporate America decided it was acceptable to be so rude, but, as long as we put up with it, the rudeness will continue and probably get worse. Out of curiosity, I waited until a woman came on the line, said Penn Credit was calling and asked if I was the person she was calling. I asked who or what Penn Credit is to which she responded by asking me to confirm my address. I said I wouldn’t until told who the company is and why it’s calling. Again, she tried to confirm my address. I said I didn’t have to provide that information, to which she said, “”And I don’t have to tell you who we are”” before hanging up on me. Since Penn is a debt collecting agency, I suspect the call might have been about a Publisher’s Clearing House or Verizon, both of which are non-existent debts for which I’ve been unable to find an employee with the authority to make decisions. Corporate America is out of control. Ethics and professional conduct have been replaced by the need to satisfy their greed by any means necessary. The climate within which we conduct business has undergone so many adverse changes that the jokes of 30-40 years ago about it being a “”dog-eat-dog”” world have become our new reality. It’s worth noting that a closer look reveals that these adverse changes began when those born after the late 50s/early 60s entered the workforce. I believe this is related to the inferior education most of those individuals received, since, though no one has raised the issue, the fact is, we cannot have a K-12 education system that has failed to properly educate students without seriously adverse consequences. I don’t want to insult anyone, but some of these consequences, such as a poor work ethic; offensive arrogance and the belief they’re special just for showing up; their tendency to become angry quickly; their belief that the customer is always wrong, because they don’t make mistakes; and poor cognitive development that prevents them from seeing and reasoning more than one scenario on a chess board, is far more dangerous to our culture than anyone realizes or is willing to admit. We must stop this trend before it’s too late. .

I received notification that there was
I received notification that there was an allegedly outstanding bill from Literary Guild Select dating back to 02/12/2012! I have not ordered from this company in years. All bills are paid up. This supposedly happened two and a half years ago. There is the threat of turning me in to collections and reporting deliquency to Experian!
To All - | My son is
To All – My son is in school/ college. He is trying to finish school. You would think that a company such as this would use common sense and “say we would like to help you”. Instead they are intentionally trying to damage his credit and his buying power by keeping one item on his credit report which should be remove, because he has offered to pay the “minor” amount in full, with the agreement that they will remove it immediately. The amount due is related to a medical bill. My son had an injury while he was in school and could not pay it. He is a student!!! Other companies have done this for him. They recognized that fact and there should be no legitimate reason for “Penn Credit Corporation” not to remove the item after it is paid in full. If they refuse to do so, they will be sued for “Deformation of Character” as a violation of my son’s civil rights. His character is being publically damaged for an amount that is ridiculous by all standards. My intent is to pursue legal action, if “Penn Credit Corporation” does not cooperate and I will make it public to the media. Trust me, and I mean public. No one should be subject to this treatment. No threats, just promises that my son will be cleared on his report of any and all items damaging the beginning of his credit history. I know there are many other students and parents that feel the same way I do and they will be notified. “Penn Credit Corp” advertises that they have been in business for over 20 years. Yeah! they have been in the business of damaging people’s lives and screwing them up financially.
Penn Credit Corporation Reviews & Complaints
About four years ago I ended my Book-of-the-Month memberships and got a pre-paid shipping lable from them to return books I”d just received but didn”t want. A few weeks after the books were shipped back, in three different boxes with three different pre-paid shipping labels, I began to get notifications that I still owed money on one BOMC book club account. I disputed that however over the last nearly four years I”ve been hounded by collection agencies going by various names. I”ve disputed each one stating that a pre-paid address label on a package should imply delivery. None of my disputes have made a difference. The amount is small, it”s $67. I disputed the last notification I received last year, I returned those books almost four years ago. However, Penn Credit Corporation has listed it as negative information on my credit report (I just discovered today). There ought to be a law that prevents these collection agencies for book clubs and other small accounts from posting false negative information on one”s credit report. My suggestion is to never have any customer relationship with any Book-of-the-Month club because if you return books, even with a pre-paid address label they send you, there is no guarantee you won”t be harassed for years, have to write multiple denial letters and still have false negative information posted on your credit report. This is beyond frustrating and there”s no way I can prove they got the books, I can only assume that once they are given to the post office with an official pre-paid return mailing label that BOMC will receive them. I can”t believe they would be lost in the mail. Is this a scam to make more money or punish customers for quitting their clubs and not accepting invitations to rejoin?
Penn Credit Corporation Reviews & Complaints
Calling my wife who has a fairly common name (uses a robo-call) with selections on “how she wants to pay for her debt”. Had to call the original company who says she owes noting according to their records. Called this company back who says “you”ve never lived in Kentucky???” I about blew a gasket (since we live in PA). What kind of company uses a common name then starts calling someone with the same name several states away!!! Call the PA Attorney General”s Office about them.
Penn Credit Corporation Reviews & Complaints
During a divorce a judge working for Cook County, IL ordered me to give a $30, 000 vehicle to my ex. a year later I receive a letter from penn credit saying I owe $265.00 for a title transfer. I called the IL Dept. of Motor vehicles and explain that they made a mistake because the car was still owned by the same person that had already owned it. The girl at the DMV said” this is a mistake but it don’t be my job to fix it”. I had to pay penn credit $265.00 to avoid being dragged into court. If you are an attorney reading this I welcome you to start a suit on my behalf for hundreds of millions of dollars against the state of IL, the judge, penn credit.
Penn Credit Corporation Reviews & Complaints
For the past month I”ve been ignoring calls from Penn Credit coming from [protected]. Finally I decided to try and speak to someone. After a few calls, I got ahold of a representative (Diego), who explained that Penn Credit is a collection agency. To their credit, I was able to speak to a representative, and then his manager. After speaking to division manager Sean Foley, I discovered that in trying to get ahold of someone who owes money, Penn Credit simply starts robo-calling anyone with a matching name, even if the address does not match, such as is the case with me. I expressed annoyance at this practice, and Sean said “well, we”re not doing anything wrong.” I guess it is cheaper for them to robo-call the wrong person than it is for them to cross-reference my name and phone number in the white pages and realize they have the wrong person. Of course I asked them to remove me from their list. I certainly hope they do. What an annoyance. He expressed surprise that I found negative postings online about them. I had no problem, simply googling Penn Credit and there were the negative comments. Given a choice, I urge you to take your business somewhere besides Penn Credit.
Penn Credit Corporation Reviews & Complaints
I received a letter from Penn Credit stating that I owed $500 from an emergency room visit. The problem was I had never been to the hospital listed on the letter (or even in that city for that matter). It turned out that the person who had visited the hospital did not provide a Social Security number and provided an address different than mine. The person was of no relation to me. The hospital turned the bill in to Penn Credit for collections. The person who did go to the hospital refused to pay so Penn Credit decided to squeeze me for the money, being that I had the same name. The hospital has been understanding of my situation. The hospital is not happy because now they have someone working the phones with Penn Credit to try to get them to remove the billing from me. The problem is that Penn Credit bought the debt and they are going to force someone to pay. And right now they are targeting me.
Penn Credit Corporation Reviews & Complaints
I received a notice of collection and I called the collection agency to find out more information about my notice, and I just came across to very rude and unprofessional person (a man), who did not want to give any additional information I was asking and he hang up on me. I have to say that I was calm and I was trying to see to whom I should talk in regards the medical bill that I had. I understand that nowadays there are a lot of people in debt, but they also, have to know that some people get a collection note by mistake. unfortunately, i do not know the name of the man, but i called on November 18th 2014 at 2:20 pm, and i am hopping they have the record of my discussion with him, so he gets a courtesy lesson, because I also work in customer service filed, and if I would behave myself like this, I will be fired right away.
Penn Credit Corporation Reviews & Complaints
I received repeated phone calls on an unlisted phone number that I use for my business. Finally answered one to make the calls go away. Penn was calling for my adult son, who lives in a completely different state. This number has never been associated with my son, was obtained 5 years after he moved out of state, is not associated with an address he has ever lived at and I doubt he even knows the number. This is flat out harrassment, a violation of the DNC list AND a complete waste of my time. There should be a law that they have to pay me for the inconvenience.
