I had the worst time of my life when I went for laser hair removal at Perfect Body Laser and Aesthetics. I had been toying with idea of opting for a full body laser removal for quite some time because I go for swimming frequently and it can be quite cumbersome to keep up with the waxing appointment at salons all the time. However, I had heard good reviews about this place and decided to give it a go. I was under the impression that a gel would be applied on the skin and the laser would do all the work- in other words, it was to be painless procedure. However, when I went in for the appointment, I was in for a bit of a surprise. Firstly, even before they had started, they started pushing all kinds of other products and procedures on me and tried to make me feel that unless I had tried all of them, I was not going to look good enough. Well, that was quite disturbing but since I had already paid for the appointment I had to go through with it. I resisted all their other marketing skills somehow and maintained that it was the only procedure I wanted. When the treatment actually started, the gel that they applied on my body felt cool, but the moment the laser treatment started, I started to be feel very warm. I even said that to the person operating the laser but she said it was normal. Later than night, I woke up with itching all over my body and I had big patches of angry red rashes. I really should have known better to go for a clinic just based on reviews and without actually asking around.
