After speaking with 2 Petshotel reservationists and getting all the needed information I made a reservation for my dog to be boarded that evening for the weekend. We loaded the car for a weekend holiday and headed to Petsmart in North Wales, Montgomervile. Once there we were greeted by Liz, who said she was the manager. SHe asked for our reservation paper work and I expained I didn’t have any paperwork. She went onto the computer, pulled up our reservation and said’ It says here you were informed about the paperwork.’ I explained we made the reservation only a short while ago and no one mentioned paperwork. Disgusted she handed me a couple of forms to fill out and I handed her the vet visit papers I had for my dog. FIrst off LIz informs us, she cannot admit our dog because there is 48 clearance time from the last vaccination. Our dog would not be cleared until the morning. Keep in mind it is 8:30pm! She went on to say she could override this rule as manager, however there was also another issue. My dog did not have a rabies vaccine. I explained my dog’s rabies vaccine was current and that she did not receive one at the last visit. I assured her, if the vaccine was not current, they would have either given it to her or noted that she needed it. Liz continued flipping through the paper and I as well. I found the rabies vaccine date and showed it to her. It was current. To no avail, Liz said there was another issue. She said my dog had parasites because the vaccine Pyrantel was given. SHe said this was one of two necessary doses to treat parasites. I assured her I had spoken to the vet after the visite and my dog did not have parasites! Liz went on to say, she could not allow my dog into the general population with parasites and the vet office was closed now. Nothing could be done. Liz also checked our reservaton several times to inform me that I had been informed about various matters that I am sure were not discussed. The customer is always right does not apply here. I asked to speak to some over Liz and I was reminded that she was the manager and there was no one over her. I truly doubt that Liz was a manager. Her attitude was terrible. Needless to say, I will never use Petshotel again and I will redirect anyone about to patronize this company! .
