Prepare my documents Aka prepare documents, prepare our documents) scammed me so bad. I was a fool to have ever believed anything they said. Not only did they get I had been laid off, i was desperate to reduce my monthly mortgage payment. In january of 2012, i received a Telemarketing) voice message from a Supposed) I called them and they referred me to prepare our documents Aka prepare my documents, prepare documents). I contacted them. After getting my income and mortgage information, michal shaner, account manager emailed me to say i had “passed the npv Net present value) test and i was ‘entitled’ to a load modification according to the government guidelines; this means the bank cannot deny” me. She said i was guaranteed a lower monthly mortgage payment, lower interest rate, etc. And she looked forward to assisting me in reducing my interest rate and payment, giving me peace of mind and putting me in a much better financial position.” i was so desperate, i believed her. I fell for their scam hook, line and sinker. I was led to believe that their approval of my loan modification ensured that it would happen Not true). I filled out the contract. I gave them my e-signature to authorize their deduction of their payment, in two installments, from my checking account, totaling $1,560. I found out a month into the process that they wouldn’t supply the documents until their fee had been paid. So i authorized payment Dumb, dumb, dumb). I was told by both michal shaner, and later on by lindsey davis, sr. Case manager, that i would not need to make my mortgage payments until the modification was completed. So, stupid me, i skipped 2 months of mortgage payments. Did i mention i was desperate? I believed everything they told me. I am a sucker. Know what i got for my money? Paperwork that i could have completed myself. Bank of america denied me a loan modification. Prepare documents lied – they had no power or control over approving my load modification. They had nothing to do with making it happen. I emailed them to file a complaint and request my money back. They pushed back, saying that “banks often illegally deny loan modifications.” in short, nothing happened. My mortgage holder Bofa) couldn’t help me. My bank where i have my checking account couldn’t help me. Prepare my documents did nothing to appease my complaint, and of course they didn’t refund my money. When i tried pursuing it further, the emails bounced back, and the site was unattainable.
