I am Dutch so sorry for the errors in the English. They promote their shop via offering it for free. You can purchase addons to acquire the modules you specifically need for your business. Up to that moment everything is ok because I understand they have to earn some money. The basic installation works and looks nice but not suitable to use in a live situation. So I bought a template for the main theme. When purchased I did not receive any conformation about what I have bought. In my account which I had to create at their site was mentioned ‘waiting for approval’. After one day it was approved and could I download my theme. Strangely enough it wasn’t a theme but some addon which I had no use for at all. So I wanted to contact someone of Prestashop and for that there is a live chat. In the chat the person confirmed it wasn’t a theme but a addon and I could not get a refund. When I checked it was confirmed in the general conditions. ‘No Refunds’. When I asked what the functionality was of the addon (it was called ‘Slider’) the person in the chat said ‘You can use a slider’. So I tried to call using all possible telephone nrs. The same thing happened with every nr. After endless waiting and useless menu’s some voice said ‘The person you are trying to reach is unavailble. Please try another time. Well, any other time the same thing happens. I also bought a manual online in the first purchase but was faced with a description of what you could do but how and why I should do this or that. For that I had to follow an online training of two days at a considerable price I could have made a mistake in the purchase. It is almost impossible because the ‘Buy’ button in the theme explanation is not near the ‘Buy’ button of the addon. It isn’t even on the same page. So perhaps their webshop is not so accurate. But what is disturbing is that it really seems that a customer has to purchase a lot of services and stuff to get the shop working because they are only available for adequate support when you purchase a service or support contract. And the basic installation looks nice but really is very limited. .
