In Pro Flowers ad on the internet, they did NOT have the total cost of the order, which I did not know until I checked my bank account and saw that PF had deducted more than TWICE the amount that I thought I agreed upon. ($31.99 the original cost of the flowers and withdrawn from my bank was $65.68!!) I called PF within 5 minutes of the online order and talked to a Brenda and she originally said that it was too late to cancel. I said “What?” and threatened to go down to my bank and cancel it ane then after while she said that she was able to cancel my order and when I asked about credit for my cancelled order, she was very vague and kind of implied that I would receive a credit!!?? They way she sounded, I’m not sure of receiving that credit! .

Beware of Pro-Flowers offer to take off
Beware of Pro-Flowers offer to take off 20% as their headline banner says and never believe in free week day shipping. After over an hour of trying to be upsold I placed the order. When the order comfirmation came over my computer, it was $20 higher. My first e-mail to customer service was, You must have misunderstood. My second reply was, Sorry, we have processed it and cannot make changes. Never again. I spent over one hour to order the flowers and still got ripped off.
I ordered a dozen long stem
I ordered a dozen long stem roses and a free vase for the price of $19.99 as it was advertised on the radio. These fkn basterds charged me an additional 12.99 for a red vase i didnt order.i was charged a couple of other small fees also that i didnt mind because i know this is for someone special. The thing is, i did not find out the additional charges until my order was complete. Meaning they had already charged my card wich raised my price to $43.99 or something. Thats more than doubled the price “(false advertisement )”.sense then ive read over 100 complaints about this company and wish i had done so before i placed my order. Oh well you live and you learn. Please stay very far away from this scumpany.
I ordered flowers for my sick grandmother
I ordered flowers for my sick grandmother who was hospitalized right before Thanksgiving. She was released from the hospital with no sign of the flowers I ordered. Needless to say, I cancelled the order as it was never fulfilled. As of 12/22, nearly an entire month later I have yet to receive a full refund. I have continued to call and am provided the same response that my refund is “being processed.'” Unacceptable! I will NEVER again order from this company. First my sick grandma never gets her get well flowers and then to add insult to injury, my refund is floating in limbo.
Placed order for flowers, optional vase not
Placed order for flowers, optional vase not selected. Called a few minutes later when E-mail message showed excessive charge. It was discussed and agreed that vase was added to order and it would be corrected. I was told the PayPal charge would be corrected. Several weeks later noticed the wrong PayPal charge was not corrected. Talked to Proflowers agent, discused all details of the order, was placed on hold for researching issue. Finally response was that problem was found and the cost of vase would be corrected. Received E-mail apologying for the refund not being applied to my account, but I had to provide all the information already verified on the 20 minute previous call. I felt I had spent enungh time on this issue and they were just harassing me.

(BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY FROM PROFLOWERS, read what I wrote to them about my recent order) Hello, first off I want to say thank you for a fast and on time delivery of the flowers that I ordered for mother’s day. However, with tax and shipping my total came to $74.52. They arrived completely wilted with hopeless looking petals, from nearly all flowers, that had fallen off in the box. The stems were brown and they looked like they had been bagged for a week. Despite the devastation, I gave it a hopeful try and followed the directions given in the box to make the flowers “come to life”..the next day they were all dead and fallen over touching the table with a huge mess from all that had come off the flowers. I had to toss them out and clean up the mess. I also had to go to a local florist and purchase new flowers for mother’s day. I feel that I deserve a refund 100% and out of the many people I have told this to, so do they! I have also been asked to blog about my experience to save others the hardship from ordering from your company and instead ordering from another reputable company that contracts with local florists. That is normally what I do, but due to your flashy advertising in the paper I decided final give it a try. I can not see how a flower company can stay in business when they send out flowers that are supposed to be fresh, in water, nicely put together, but rather arrive in a box, without water, and instructions on how to do it yourself! People can just go to the grocery store for better flowers and service!! Regretfully Yours, Michelle M.

[protected] Pro Flowers/EZSVER RW Scam Discovered an unauthorized charge to my Mastercard account around 3:00 a.m. while checking my Citi account online. The account was shown as “EZSVER RW ID054584030 [protected] PA and the charge was for $1.95. I had no idea who these people were nor did I authorize them to charge anything to my Mastercard account. I called Citi immediately and told them this was criminal fraud and that I wanted the charge reversed. I checked online to find hundreds of similar experiences by people who had been scammed by this criminal enterprise. Apparently Pro Flowers and their affiliate Florist Express are in collaboration or perhaps own EZ Saver and they share credit card information with them. I called the number listed for EZSVER and was told to call during business hours; I called about 10 times until I reached a person named “Beth” when I called another number, [protected]. She indicated that my account had been closed. I told her I wanted my $1.95 refunded. They tried to have me give them my credit card number over the phone which I refused to do. Beth was very rude and I doubt they actually closed my account nor will make any effort to refund my money. After checking this fraud online and reading more than a hundred complaints about the scam I learned that many people didn”t notice that this criminal enterprise had been charging their credit card accounts $14.95 a month for many months or even years before being noticed. Fortunately I picked up the scam two days after they had charged my account with their initial $1.95 fee. This charge for doing absolutely nothing for me. This has GOT to be stopped and these people charged with criminal internet fraud and made to face justice.

05/11/2018 Mother’s day flowers never arrived, called customer service (in India) on the phone for over an hour… Told me they could deliver 5/21 um yeah that isn’t going to cut it for mothers day. Cancelled order and took another half hour to be reimbursed the delivery fee. If I didn’t bring it up they would have credited. I will never buy from them again.

9/22/18 – FAQ clearly states RUSH is for Saturday, Sunday, Monday. It is Saturday and I am ordering for Tuesday and got hit with RUSH charges. When i questioned this on Chat, was told that Tuesday is considered a rush day since they dont usually deliver on Monday. This means your FAQ is incorrect and deceiving consumers. Without a refund of the rush shipping, I will stop using your services.

After making a purchase on Red Envelope in December, I was offered a Rewards Program. I remember looking it over and it appeared to be free. I was surprised when I saw a $14.95 charge on my credit card. Shame on me when I thought it must be an annual charge and I would deal with it later. Now, four months later, I see they have charged $14.95 every month. I got no e-mail or packages in the mail about this program. I have no idea what I get for $14.95 per month and worse, I have no idea how to cancel it. If you call Red Envelope”s customer service number, they tell you to call someone else! What a ripoff! I doubt I will ever shop Red Envelope again. I thought it was a reputable company!

After ordering flowers from this vendor for $19.95 +$4.95 S&H, I received an email bill for $42.96, an overcharge of $18.06. I immediately notified the company that I would NOT pay the difference and, if they wished to cancel my order, they should do so. No word back from them. Stay away from Pro Flowers. They are a first degree scam outfit.

After placing order through Pro Flowers in September of this year, I began to see unauthorized charges on my checking account of $1.95 for September, $14.95 for October and $14.95 for November. After purchasing flowers through ProFlowers.com, a third party company, easysaverrewards.com, had an ad for $15 off next purchase through ProFlowers. Thinking it was just a simple coupon, I clicked on it, and it automatically sets you up with a membership through easysaversrewards.com without your consent. They billed me $1.95 that showed up on my bank account. Good thing a toll free number also showed up on my account so I called it to find out what is going on. I got a Customer Service Rep at Easysaverrewards and she said that the $1.95 was for a 30 day trial and after that will be billed $19.95, a monthly fee that I agreed on. THIS IS NOT TRUE! Yes, I clicked on the ad but I DEFINITELY DID NOT authorize the membership. In spite of all that, the Customer Service Rep was very nice and didn”t give me any trouble, she canceled my membership so that I won”t be charged the $19.95 fee every month. Good thing I often check my bank account or else I wouldn”t have notice the charge of $1.95 on my account. And on top of that that a membership fee would have been charged as well. Please be very careful and aware of these kind of ads when making a purchase online. As a consumer, I believe it”s also a SCAM!

Already talked to the second sales rep who I couldn’t understand. The rose bush had dead roses on it. Petals were brown. Lots of petals fell off. Very unhappy with the quality of it. Would not recommend your company to anyone because of this. My children who sent the flowers are also very unhappy with this. In the past, your flowers were of much better quality. Your company is going to replace the rosebush but it won’t be here until after Mother’s Day.

Beware of Proflowers’ offer that your current order qualifies you for a $15.00 mail-in rebate. The rebate does NOT apply to your current order and requires you to sign up with a third-party vendor and pay an annual fee. If you even visit the third-party website from the Proflowers website, your billing information will be automatically transferred and you might get signed up with the annual fee automatically. BEWARE!

BEWARE of the membership to FreeShipping.com When ordering flowers from pro flowers you will be notified of a free shipping coupon. Accepting this coupon, actually is enrolling you in a membership to IC-Freeshipping.com. (READ ALL THE LEGAL BULLCRAP) they will obtain all account information from ProFlowers, and charge your account a reoccuring anual membership without notification. THIS IS CRIMINAL. the information will com throught you bank with a phone number, and they are very willing to cancel your membership and refund your money. however, I question how many people really check their accouts as closely as me. I saw a charge from a place which did not ring a bell, so I investigated. I think this techinique is dishonest and sneaky, and Pro Flowers needs to be held responsible. there are plenty of other respectable on-line flower places which run a more honest business that ProFlowers… THIS is A SCAM…they are not charging alot, so the small debit transaction can go unnoticed, however it is Criminal. They are taking money out of peoples acoount and I can bet most of them don’t even know it. whats even scarier is how pro flowers can give away your account information. -d

Beware of this company! Placed an order on Feb. 9, 2011 for Valentines Day. The price of bear and candy was $29.99, by the time they added in all their “fees” paid $49.61 (should have canceled). I checked my credit card on the 11th and found two charges from Pro Flowers for one order. I have been calling this company for three days, someone called backed pretending to be a manager and did a conference call with me and my credit card company. My company told them to send a letter head stating that they release the hold on my funds. She promised to do it, called today and the company stated they never received a fax and it will take 21 days for the charge to be credited back to my account if they do not send the paperwork. When I called them again today still getting the run around. Now, someone from CA will call me to get it resolved… yeah right, still waitingt. I am going to file a complaint with the appropriate agencies, but I need my money now. Please stay away from this company. Wish I had came to this site first and should have ordered local.

Buyer Beware False Advertising Florest Express is a Scam. I did not receive what I ordered and very unhappy. “Florist Express offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with our service for any reason feel free to contact us. We will either refund your money or redeliver a new product depending on the situation. The choice is yours!” This is false and untrue. Sure they will give you a 15% discount coupon on your next order. When I told them I would never order from them again they offered me a 20% discount. All I wanted was the flowers I ordered to be delivered correctly and I guess they can’t do that. I ordered an arrangement of roses, lilies and alstroemeria and got daisies, lilie buds and roses barely open. They blamed their supplier again and again. But NO REFUND or REDELIVERY. Where is that 100% guarantee?

checked email for billing details, advertised @ 29.95, total fee on bill 62.99 after 20.00 in shipping charges, 3.99 handling fee, and 10.00 extra on the website price that didn’t match the scott van pelt advertised price on the espn site. Never Again…big rip off…Oh and they tried to scam me with the free shipping thing, but I checked the ultra fine print and saw there was a monthly charge for the service of 14.95. They even emailed me and said, hey you didn’t get your free shipping.

completely unauthorized monthly billing of 14.95 from Proflowers/Easy Saver scam. Called to complain, was given the run around about how I had to have signed up and given them the cc# or else how would they bill it.. Proflowers is GUILTY of passing on my CC# to these theves for providing a non existing service. Supposedly getting a refund, but will take 1-2 billing cycles to show up.. funny how they can take money immediately, but when it comes to giving back.. will contact bank/state ag and file against both companies… total ###

Do not buy anything from ProFlowers. I ordered 12 roses, some strawberries and cherries from them. They charged me $20 for the shipping plus $15 for so called morning delivery! They also split my order in half and the result was, my girlfriend received the berries without the flowers! Flowers were send without the morning delivery option. Who does that? It is ridiculous to split an order like! I wanted everything to arrive together, but they completely ruined my surprise! Not to mention, that extra charge for the morning delivery is absolutely ridiculous! Worst experience I ever had and I”ll never use ProFlowers again! Congratulation, you just lost a customer.

Do not buy flowers from Proflowers.com. At least be very careful. You will be enrolled in the “Easy Saver” rewards. They claim this was a voluntary enrollment, but I have zero recollection of agreeing to this program or the associated charges. I never received a membership number and am not even able to access my supposed account. The only way I discovered this scam was by reviewing my credit card statements and noting a $14.95 recurring charge extending back 14 months that I could not explain. I have not been able to get through the phone lines to [protected] to request a refund. I consider my time and aggravation worth more than the $209 I lost, however I will NEVER BUY ANYTHING from Proflowers.com, and will do anything in my power to make sure that everyone I know NEVER BUYS ANYTHING from them again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM PROFLOWERS.COM I ORDEERED A SMALL CHRISTMAS PINE TREE FOR SOMEONE FOR CHRISTIMAS. THE COMMERCIAL SAID $19.99 IF YOU ENTER THE WORD DEAL…WHICH I DID. THEN IT SAID FOR DELIVERY ON 12.9.2010 IT WOULD BE $4.99. I CLICKED YES FOR THAT. THEN PROCEEDED TO PAY WITH PAYPAL… THEN I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO MY EMAIL TO SEE IF THEY SENT AN ORDER NUMBER AND CONFIRMATION. THEY DID. ONLY PROBLEM IS THE BILL WAS FOR OVER $37…WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN $25 I SAW AN EXTRA CHARGE OF $9.99 OUT OF NO WHERE, WHICH I WAS NOT OFFERED OR TOLD ABOUT. THEN I SAW A “HANDLING FEE” OF $3.00 I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THIS WHEN I ORDERED, AND EVEN IF IT WAS THERE, I DID NOT SEE IT. I HAVE ORDERED STUFF ONLINE MANY TIMES, NORMALLY WITHOUT A PROBLEM IF PROFLOWERS HAD “HANDLING FEES” AND EXTRA DELIVERY CHARGES, THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD IT THERE, EXPLAINED IT AND HAD THE CUSTOMER CLICK ON, AND OK IT…THEY DID NOT MAKE IT VISIBLE ENOUGH, OR IT WAS JUST PLAIN NOT THERE AT ALL. SCAM CITY.

Do NOT patronize Proflowers.com, or be prepared to be victimized by false advertising, bait and switch, hidden charges (which DOUBLED the price on the advertised Mother’s Day flower special!!), and outright fraud. The first red flag is that when the online page asks for your credit card info, the price has literally disappeared. I should have signed off then and there. But, I stupidly provided this information, and, when the price came up on the “confirm” page, the advertised “free” vase was now an added $10, and with not previously mentioned fuel surcharges and delivery fee, the price jumped from $31.60 to about $60.00. The page had no escape or exit icon…just the confirm option. So I signed off line hoping to erase all information. But…in keeping with their scamming, Proflowers.com saved all the information from the webpage I thought was officially closed out — including the assortment of flowers I selected, but chose not to order. So now they’re sending emails asking me to finish my order for the specific variety of flowers! That means they also have my credit card number, expiration date, etc. However, when I called Proflowers.com to ask for a confirmation email that I had not placed the order, and that my credit card information would be erased from the system, they said it was against company policy to provide such confirmation. So, I’m at the mercy of this unscrupulous company not misusing the credit card information given them in good faith, for flowers I chose not to purchase. Interestingly, this kind of fraudulent marketing is illegal in nearly every state and most major cities. So be forewarned…MOM’s love is priceless, but even mom would say, “Don’t do business with crooks!” Stay away from Proflowers.com, or be prepared to be scammed.

During the order process customers are steered to “discount shipping” and I use the word “tricked” into signing up for EASYSAVOR [protected] MD.) Very quickly the customer finds themself “enrolled” in Easy Savor. In my case I canceled immediately and and even got a cancellation number. A few days later I was e-mailed from Proflowers/easy savor information indicating I was a member. I called them and was told I was not a member and I would not be billed for membership. Last Saturday I received my Visa statement and it showed I was billed for the membership fee. I phoned and e-mailed Proflowers.com, I was unable to speak to anyone at Easy Savor. They have no “live” people answering phones over the weekend. encoremarketing.com charged my credit card for over one year a total of 59.60/ mo. for absolutely no services. they piggybacked on a free trial foreclosure service i canceled after 30 days because it was also worthless. they returned about 160.00 but refuse to return the other $712.80 they owe me. they know that what they do is fraudulent but have such a lucrative scam going that they seem to feel they are insulated. i will take them to court if i have to. i will not accept this type of credit card fraud.

Flowers were not delivered and they did not refund me! I called ProFlowers and asked about my flowers and they said that they were on their way and assured me that there was nothing to worry about. Then they said that due to some issues delivery will be few hours late. And nothing again. Last time when I spoke to their rep I asked for my order cancellation and they agreed. Their rep said that it can take up to 5-7 days to process a refund, but even after two weeks of waiting there was no money! Better stay away from this company.

For mothers day I sent flowers using them and at the end they asked me nicely if I wanted 15 bucks off my next purchase. I said why not and entered my email. Well that gave them permission (in very fine writing)to take out 24.95 bucks that month and 14.95 every month until I call the Encore Marketing group and cancel it. I just noticed it… So the 2 dozen roses cost me like 150 bucks in total

Good morning, my order number is [protected], I placed this order on 10.10.19, I requested a same day delivery, I was advised that I would receive a confirmation email once delivery had taken place, that never happen because my order was never delivered. These flowers were ordered for my fiances birthday, and to my disappointment she never received them. I called the toll free number on 10.10.19 three times only to be patronized. The first rep said as with the other two, we will give you an upgrade, I explained to them that the three available arrangement categories that is offered was standard, deluxe, and premium which is what I already paid for (premium). Then I was offered 10% off my order which was a further insult, and finally I was told that that’s all they can offer me. I was told I can either cancel my order or wait until today 10.11.19 for the flowers to be delivered. I said that that was not good enough. The last person that I spoke with at this point on 10.10.19 (Zack), assured me that my delivery would take place first thing in the morning on 10.11.19, and that they will call the recipient an hour before delivery, it did not happen. At this point I’m furious, I called Proflowers 4 times on 10.10.19 and all they can tell me is your gift will be delivered today, aside from the same BS that I stated above. No one is taking responsibility for this transaction, I tried calling the customer service toll free number 4 times, I have waited over an hour cumulatively, and still did not reach anyone. This is not the first time I have had such a horrible experience with this company, I thought I would try you all again; this is the last time I will ever use Proflowers as a gift service. Your customer service is horrible. I expect for my gift to be delivered today, I want to be refunded the entire cost of the arrangement I purchased for my inconvenience. I recommend that you find more reliable florist if you expect to stay in business

Heard all over radio and ordered a week before Valentines day. The special was a One Dozen Long Stemmed Red Roses w/FREE Ruby Vase for $39.99 and FREE SHIPPING. Turns out, Valentines day was on Saturday $9.99 – Saturday delivery, Standard Express Delivery – $12.99. Taxes – $5.43. So total was $68.40!!! The FREE SHIPPING was actually a REBATE from a company proflowers.com hired…and they wanted me to enter my credit card info on their site also? They (proflowers.com) failed to mention the free shipping was actually to rebate the $12.99. I have not stopped receiving spam from that company (EasySaver Rewards) since. Proflowers.com also gave them my credit card and charged me for their membership. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!! All I did was click a $15 off coupon (pop-up). I called Discover right away (what a big help – class act). Fraud claimed. I nipped it in the bud after I saw a charge for $1.95. My guess that was just a ‘feeler’ amount. This scam is becoming very big with proflowers.com and easysaverrewards.com (just look on this site or google). So, the order cost me $68.40 x 2 when advertised as $39.99 each. I am an idiot, ordered 2! So now 2x the charge. You can forget about that rebate, would be caught in a bear trap! You talk about a scam! Oh, and flowers were frost bitten (black tips) and turned down the next day. BUYER BEWARE!

Hey, I got ripped off by these people also, BUT, all you have to do is call the number, tell them you want the charges reversed {I had 3} the girl said she could do the first one as a courtesy. but not anymore. I asked to speak with a supervisor, she came back a minute later to let me know she was able to authorize taking off all 3 charges. Supposed to take 10 days, we will see. I will let you know if they don’t.

Hi, I do not know if I will get my money back or not. I am from India and I ordered for a Birthday Cake from ProFlowers on May 2nd and paid online through my card. I got an email 21st stating that the transaction was rejected and I need to call them. I called Proflowers and spoke someone by name David and he verified my address and asked for Card number. On 23rd amount was deducted from my card (indian Card) and Cake was delivered on 28th May. everything was fine until 28th. On 30th May I received an message from bank stating that I have made a Purchase on 30th May from Proflowers and $60 is deducted from my Indian Account. I was so shocked to see this as I have not made any purchase from them after 2nd May!!! I tried to login to my account in Proflowers and it doesn”t allow me to delete my card details from their site. Well I do not know what to do? Please help me to get my money back from ProFlowers.

I am another victim of poor business practices and scamming. My purchase through ProFlowers.com, a supposed ethical flower delivery company, led me to be unknowingly and unwillingly enrolled in the Easy Saver Rewards program. This program charges you $1.95 for “becoming a member” and then $14.95 every month. Do not use ProFlowers.com. Businesses like these should be shut down for unethical business practices, selling credit card information, and taking advantage of their customers. If you see charges from Easy Saver Rewards on you account, call the number listed next to the charge and cancel your “membership” immediately. Do not let them hang up until they guarantee you that all of the charges will be reversed and your money refunded. Then send a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, “[protected]@mybbb.org”. We need to get enough complaints to them that they take some form of action. Reliable internet companies should never let their customers be taken advantage of. Help to put a ban ProFlowers.com and shut down Easy Saver Rewards.

I am no longer doing business with Proflowers, the online flower/bouquet delivery service. The discount I was suppose to receive was never computed into the final total. Although the order pages kept reporting, ‘discount computed on order page’. Or similar verbiage. Evidently the business hopes that you will not recognize the non-discount on the packed final order page. Also, this company does not include either shipping or ‘handling’ costs until the final check-out screen. One may determine that the final cost will be about twice of the initial quoted price. I also believe that the usual three dollar ‘handling’ charge is excessive. Future Proflower messages will now automatically drop into my email spam folder.

I bought flowers from ProFlowers website few days ago and confirmed my order of $35. When I received a payment confirmation email it showed $70! To make matters worse the flowers never arrived! I sent them a message, but received no reply. So, yesterday I decided to call and they put me on hold for about an hour! When I finally reached someone from staff, I could not understand a thing, because their rep couldn”t speak English well! I called later and spoke to someone else. The person spoke a little better English and asked me if I wanted to order some flowers. I said no and told them about the reason I”ve called. They tried telling me they could not refund me because I paid through PayPal. What a joke! Finally I told them that I don”t want any flowers and all I need is my money back. I hope I got my point across.

I called on 2/13 to order flowers and decided against them so I cancelled them with 2-3 minutes I used my PayPal acct. I was told i would get a cancellation email which I never got. I yesterday 2/20 I checked my PayPal acct. and the money is still sitting in pending status. I called ProFlowers to find way the young lady told me that everything had been canceled, so I called PayPal and they told that ProFlowers had not completed the transaction completely and that is why it is still sitting a pending status. So I called ProFlowers back and spoke to Axle who was very rude and short with me and when I told him that I would call Pay Pal with him on the phone he got ruder and Hung up on me which I found to be very unprofessional. Customer Service is obviously not a strong suite for your company, so I will not order from you company again. and I will continue to complain until I get my money back I will tell people not to order from you ever again.

I can tell you that the Pro in Proflowers doesn’t stand for punctually reliable orders. Like many, I wish I had read all these scathing reviews first. I ordered an arrangement for my girlfriend to be delivered on her birthday. When it wasn’t delivered on the proper date, they blamed UPS, and stated “this doesn’t usually happen”. I have now read enough reviews to determine that was a lie. Please do yourself a favor, and order from somewhere else.

I can’t believe that all I did was order a bouquet of flowers for my mom before Mother’s day through proflowers.com and applied (through a 3rd party website) to get a rebate on my shipping, then to find out all of a sudden I’m in this “club” charging me $14.95 every month! This has gone on since May 08 and it’s Sept and I just realized they are doing this behind my back. I have also rec’d overdrafts from my bank at $35.00 a pop! I just composed a stern, but professional letter to Easy Saver customer service and plan on doing a follow up call tomorrow morning. They WILL cancel this “membership” immediately and the WILL give me all my money back – period. I can’t believe this – I am shaking my head that this has happened to a lot of other innocent people too. Unbelieveable.

I didn”t know that ProFlowers has a bad reputation. Blaming myself for being so naive and for not reading the reviews. I would not have made this mistake. It was my sister”s birthday. I prepared for it in advance. I bought a gift and ordered flowers. I also paid extra to have them by 1 pm (she was born at 1:30). But the flowers weren”t delivered on time. I had 30 minutes more and was hoping they would deliver within this time, but they didn”t. I was absolutely infuriated because the flowers were from all the family, it was huge and very expensive. I called them and asked what happened. They said that they can”t deliver today due to an unforeseen situation. Urg I am so angry, so angry

I discovered a charge on my American Express bill from a company known as Easy Saver Rewards Program for $14.95 a month. I thought this was a charge for my internet service due to it being same amount. The charges continued from at least June 2007. When I called Easy Saver Rewards, they indicated that I was “signed up” for the service when I checked a “free shipping” box on an order with Pro Flowers. Pro Flowers substantiated the way in which enrollment in the Easy Saver program occurred and referred to my checking the free shipping box and adding my zip code was my electronic signature and acceptance. I canceled the “Easy Saver” program participation and demanded a full refund. I alerted American Express to the scam. I also have canceled a recent order with ProFlowers and notified them that they have lost a repeat customer. Any company which uses personal information for automatic enrollment in another company’s service is engaging in deceitful business practices.

I don’t remember everything the way I did when I was younger, or I would have remembered using 1-800-Flowers before, not realizing the extra charges and high bottom line. I thought their prices would be in line with FDS, but they weren’t. What started out to be something like a $60 purchase of a bouquet in a vase ended up costing over $100; matter of fact I just checked and don’t remember why the two charges, but I was charged $57.33 on Feb. 11 and $102.76 on Feb. 16th. They were purchased for my girlfriend and I know that I ordered the flowers prior to Feb. 11, because they were to be delivered on Feb. 12. They actually were delivered on time, but I expected them to have a local florist deliver them. Nope, that’s not what happened; they were shipped from Florida with vase and flowers in different packages, with instructions on how cut off the ends of the flowers and make her own bouquet. That was embarrassing. They actually sent the recipient a flower kit!? They promised free shipping, but it worked like a rebate and I have not had good luck with rebates. They made it a complicated procedure and you had to get all your proof of the purchase and mail it to Connecticut, I seem to remember. Okay that’s not going to happen because too many businesses like to ignore those things and not return to you what you expect. Somewhere in the purchase process I signed up for Easy Saver and I knew it at the time, unlike so many who are complaining here. However I seem to recall that I thought it was necessary to get the free shipping. When I actually got into it, I realized that it had nothing to do with the free shipping, but they gave me 30 days to cancel without it costing me. I’ll never know if they would have honored my request to decline, because I waited too long and they already had the first month’s payment before I found time to call and cancel it. I really didn’t have time to visit the web site after my first initial scan of it and I decided that I couldn’t use anything they offered the day I signed up. When I did call to cancel it, I explained that I had just goofed in waiting too long, but I would take responsibility for that first month’s payment. However, I wanted to cancel and stop any further debits from my account. The lady was very personable and cooperative and assured me that they would not only comply, but informed me that I could still visit the website and use it for the remainder of the month. I never found the time to do that and didn’t discover until after last month’s debit (May’s) that they were still debiting my account. I then went to the website and discovered that there is a page that they say you can use to cancel your subscription. I wrote them that it should already have been closed and that I needed a positive response to this later request to close my account. Unfortunately, that page left me no copy of what I had said to them, but I’m not sure printing out a screen print would have gotten the job done, either. I threatened to visit my bank to keep them from debiting me any more, but I have an extremely hard time getting to the bank during business hours, because I work shifts from 5 pm to 6 am. I get home close to 7:00 am and I have to get up at 1:30 pm to get my normal chores done and get to work by five. Consequently, I just spotted still another debit in pending status, which means they ignored that request as well as my first request. It doesn’t look like I’ll get much sleep today, as I need to stay up until the bank opens at 9:00. I admonish ProFlowers for costing so much for so little service, and also for associating themselves with crooks like Easy Saver. As for Easy Saver, they have REALLY gotten under my skin now. As a man of 66, drawing Social Security, and working a minimum wage job to make ends meet, I really don’t need this. Maybe I have proof of something, somewhere, but I would need to search through a very tall stack of papers to find it. It never occurred to me that a company like this would be so fraudulent.

I had charges against my credit card from EZSavers for several months for 14.95. I traced this to flowers bought from PROFLOWERS. The owner is Bill Strauss, someone I trusted because I used to work with him at a previous company. I have stopped purchasing from PROFLOWERS because the flowers they delivered last year was nothing like the picture on the website. But the EZSAvers kept deducting 14.95 from my bank account.

I had never ordered from these people before. I wanted to get my mother something this week for Mothers day. They have advertised night and day for the last 3 months over 200-400 times a day that their flowers are ALL 19.99 and have given this special code of MOST and Savage and Michael to get a good deal on these flowers. I ordered some long stem tulips for mom and it was 19.99. The card they added on $3.00 and added on $7.00 for the vase and another $13.99 for Saturday delivery and another $5.99 for mothers day delivery. Then looked at the order again and they also had added another $4.99 for shipping and handling. The $19.99 flowers turned into a $48.97 order total. They are supposed to be to my mom delivered this weekend and hope she gets them. I got no discount at all on this order. This company must have tons of money because for the last 3 months on every radio and television station they have advertised 200-400 times a day that these flowers are Just 19.99 and that is it. They are liars and are lying to the public about their flowers. This company I know makes trillions of dollars because they would not have the money to run this commercial or series of commercials so damn much. So if you want to order from these people plan to spend ALOT and not get any kind of a deal because there are tons of added charges. They do not tell you till the end of the order and not at all in the stuff that tells you the kinds of boquets that you can order. I do not drive and have to order online because I am unable to drive a car due to poor coordination and emotional problems and issues and can no longer work any more since 1998 and am completely disabled. This company takes advantage of the simple consumer and thinks we do not know any better. That is what credit card companies do as well. This world is messed up and will never get any better due to greed. I live in Portland Oregon and since 2009 rents and living expenses have gone up 175%. They lie all the time about the unemployment rate and say it is down to 6% which is a lie. I go shopping and do errands on the city bus every day just about and see tons of people in the stores (thousands) during work days and times. If people were back to work there would not be thousands in all the stores and lines out the doors. People are not back to work and know the REAL unemployment rate has to be over 25%. Please think about ordering from these people because they are liars and are way way too high on their products.
