Before bidding on any thing from this website, especially in Houston, go down and INSPECT the item or lot you are wanting to bid on. They do not give you much information as a buyer on the items in their auction but a lot of their stuff is trash or worthless. I recently bid on and won an auction for a large quanity of laptop computers. When I picked them up and got home I discovered that none of them had hard drives, some were missing the batteries, broken screens, cracked cases and on and on. They take enough photos but they do not show any damage and do not specify any damage in their listing. I buy jewelry and have almost made the mistake of bidding on large lots of jewelry that seem to contain expensive diamond rings, chains, earrings, etc., where the bids were at a high amount. I went down and inspected the lot in person and it was all worthless costume jewelry, mostly from China they was turned in from the lost and found at the city’s airports. I feel sorry for who ever bought that lot. The bottom line is always go down and inspect the item(s) in person before bidding. Chances are you will find its just not worth buying. Once you bid, win and pay for the item, it is yours and you must pay in advance. .
