DO NOT Order from this company. Their Customer Service Department could not care less what problem you have. I spent better than 30 minutes on the phone just to be told that the manager would have to deal with my problem and he would be in “sometime later.” They also will not refund any accessories or warranties you buy. So buy all your device protection and accessories from somebody else in case you have a problem, because these guys are not going to care. In all one of the WORST internet shopping experiences I have had, I will NEVER use this site again!!!

I purchased a Canon digital camera online. The following day I received a message from Red Tag Savings saying that they were having trouble with my billing address and I needed to call them back. I called them back and they sold me an extended warranty and a high capacity warranty. There was no problem with my billing address they just wanted to sell me more items. When I received the camera the high capacity battery was the wrong size. I called them and they asked me to mail it back to them (at my expense) and they would send me the correct high capacity battery. I receieved a package 2 weeks later and it was another battery not a high capacity battery. I called them back and they said that they put a high capacity battery in the package and I was mistaken. They told me they would double check and would call me back. They never called me back. Do not use Red Tag savings. They are crooks!!!

I returned Red Tag Savings customer service call this afternoon and spoke with “Joe” who was extremely rude to me. I will quote what he said: “do you not understand the words coming out of my mouth?!”… That is disgraceful… I am the customer and what kind of customer service is that coming from your company? It left me speechless. Let me explain the situation. Today I ordered online from Red Tag an Olympus Stylus 101 digital camera which was supposedly in stock and requested 1 business day shipping so that it would arrive in time for a birthday gift on Monday. However, apparently the system did not register the 3 figure digit on the back of my credit card. When I returned their phone message, I was told that the camera wasn’t even in stock, that they only had a demo that had been opened and in a store and it would take several days to get one before it could even be delivered. Due to the fact that this camera would not be shipped in time, I asked “Joe” to cancel my order. He got very uptight and told me that I would have to pay a cancellation fee. When I questioned him about this so-called cancellation fee, he got quite stroppy with me. I asked to speak to his manager and, surprise, surprise, he told me that he was the manager (I should have known better). I hope that their service calls are recorded because this treatment I received was simply unacceptable. Then he tried to sell me a longer life battery. I told him I needed to do some more research before ordering another battery. That is when he got annoyed and rude with me. Finally, I told him to just give me the cheapest shipping without any extra battery. When I told my husband the story, he said this was disgraceful and I should have just told him that if he charged my credit card, we would dispute the charge and not pay for something that was supposedly in stock. I intend to write a formal letter to your company if I do not hear back from them by Monday. So much for being a “valued customer”… I cannot believe what Joe told me: “do you not understand the words coming out of my mouth?!”. That is unacceptable and I intend to follow up.
