Redbox movie rental overcharged me. When i called to ask why they acted like it has happened before but wouldn’t say that. I asked them to please send out a service tech to check the machine and was told they will not that i’m trying to scam money out of them. I heard this has happened before and it’s getting old and sad to steal money from people at hard economical times.

This company is not convient!
This company is not convient! They state that you can return DVD to any Redbox machine. That is False. I still get charge a late fee. They start to sell movies. I have bought a few. last time I bought DVD movies from that and they still charge me $65.00 late rental fees. First the operator blames the bank, Second they give false date of charges, but still lie about charges to the bank and somehow win the case. They are using credit card numbers and stealing from honest customers and lieing to the bank to keep get the dispute reversed back to them. I encourage anyone that uses redbox to block them from your credit card and never use them again. If you do still use them, start checking your statements for charges that are not authorized.
I checked my bank report this morning
I checked my bank report this morning and found three seperate charges for DVD rentals in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, a city that is hundreds of miles away from me and I have never been. I want the money returned and the charges to never happen again.
Headline says it all really. Found
Headline says it all really. Found a charge of $26.71 on my bank card. That’s what they usually charge people who don’t return a video they got from a kiosk. (I know this from friends – never had THIS happen before!) Based on the date, I’m pretty sure we rented a movie but not the title they gave me – we’ve seen it at least twice before! And we’re pretty careful about returning the videos we rent the next day. The kiosk we use is at our grocery store a mile away and we probably stop there for something three evenings a week, so…maybe late but ??? So I called customer service. First rep put me on hold and after 15 minutes, the phone line dropped. Second rep couldn’t care less and probably isnt aware that I spend more than this much each year; she just stonewalled me. Never again! I won’t do business with them anymore. Gonna have to learn about Netflix!
I was charged $27.28 for a late
I was charged $27.28 for a late fee of a DVD. That was 27.28 for a used DVD. I thought money would be returned and that I would only be charged a rational late fee or the full charge of the USED/AMORTIZED dvd price, but that did not happen. In my eyes that is an irrational charge. Today when I was trying to return a DVD, their two kiosks were not working and I was inconvenienced and had to return it somewhere else. I said this is the time to get them to return the money that they charged 10 months ago, so I called them and told them the situation but their response was,”I”m sorry you were inconvenienced, but we can’t help you with your complaint”. So I have to accept their mistakes/problems but they are not reasonable when they charge? I find that unacceptable.
