– 19 June 2018, Tuesday – We went to the bank because we want to apply for a Fixed Deposit with an amount of RM 25, 000. At first, we were not with any cash or any cheque because we want to know the details of the different kind of FD first. -Then, a staff, Thurgaah Perumal @ Shetty, approached us. We asked for the details about FD. Then she straight away ask us how much we want to put as FD. We said that we just want to know the details first. Then she asked us to bring the money first. – So, we went to withdraw our money out and bring it to the staff. Then, we asked about the FD promotion with 4.38% rate. However, she took out a A4 paper and wrote down 4.88%, 7.88% and 5.15%. Then she starts to explain these 3 types of FD and told us how to separate our money into different account. She keep explain and promote and want us to put our money like what she said. – Then, we are not interested in the above promotion and directly ask we want to put our money in the 4.38% promotion. HERE IS THE PROBLEM STARTS. She said “Miss, let me explain first.” She keep telling us the rate will be change, there is not coverage, does not have high bonus and so on. We said “We don”t want to put our money in such package because we have one 20yrs FD account in RHB already. And this time we want a short term FD.” – Thus, the attitude of the staff changed. She become very impolite and straight away leave our conversation.
