Located in 420, Theater Drive, Johnstown, Richland Cinemas have a name and fame for the big screen that people have a fascinating corner for. It’s a pretty basic theatre that is acceptable for the audience if they don’t have much expectations from their side. Though on the surface the theatre looks quite regal and attractive but there are certain pitfalls as well that the audience finds disgusting.
For one the tickets aren’t available online so for the smart customers who prefer advance bookings would be quite disappointed with the theatre. Some people have complained of sitting in a tiny, dank, stale air theater. Compared to this one there are several better theatres in the neighbourhood at Altoona, Westmoreland & even the old quaint theater in Westmont!!
The seats are anyway clean and big enough with cup holders but due to lack of proper maintenance they have turned out to be spooky and ridiculous. The theatre is clean and there is a good selection of staff at the snack bar. You can always enjoy the pocket of popcorn and and butter. But one thing that evokes a sense of hesitation is the backward thinking and antiquated managers who flee without compensations in adverse or unpleasant situations.
The bottom line is that more than the positive sides the theatre has a more negative impact on the audience. There is plenty of parking space and reasonable pricing necessary for a movie theater. Prices are better than customers are used to. There are multiple screens for different movies and the typical theatre brags a huge amount of audience. But you can’t also dissent from the fact that the theatre doesn’t match up with the expectations of the audience. If someone gets the same better features in the exact price then why would they pay extra.
