During 2011 like many other people in this country, my family came upon hard times and as a result fell behind on our mortgage. BOA began foreclouse and in February 2012 we came to an modication agreement with BOA and met all terms during the Modication periods. The first Mod proposal was offered in July 2012 but was not agreed on so more trail modication periods followed. On August 14, 2012 received Court Documents of “NOTICE OF VOLUNTARY DISMISSAL WITHOUT PREJUDICE AND RELEASE OF LIS PENDENS” Still more trial payments were made and other Mod offer were viewed. On February 12th 2013 an agreement was met and so began and new mortgage. Everything was going ok till September 2013 whin I noticed an Past due/Fee showing up on my mortgage invoive but no information on what or why this was showing up. I contacted BOA Customer Service and got nowhere. I was told that the fee would be removed. Never did. Now reviewing my Mortgage invoice for May 2014 I notice that not onty was the fee still on the invoice but an additional $225.00 fee for a total of $450.00 showing up. When I questioned BOA I was informed that the fee were paid to the CITY under the Foreclosure Registry Ordinance. ( MIND YOU I DON’T LIVE IN A CITY) and when I stated this to BOA their responds was “yes you do its in your address.” After going to city City Office and affirming that I was not part of the City and that there was no payment or registrations made on my address “how could in be I don’t live in the city” But the City referred me to the County in which I live. After speaking with the county office and showing them my information. They stateded that my property did not meet the requiremnts for this program. To require Registration, the proterty must be in foreclouse, or had been assumed by the mortgagee. eihter have occured. The registration assures that the property is maintained and that and repqires are made to ensure that neighborhoos do not become rundown. Great idear. BOA hires Safeguard LLC to manage property. (IS Safeguard LLC and BOA the same)? Fraud occured when BOA and Safeguard LLC became partners in registratinmg to Home under the Foreclosure Registray Ord. because Foreclosure Actions were dismissed in Aug 2012, and BOA never assumed the property. When asked why I never recieved and documents explaining this charged/fee. I was tolad by TIFFNEY and MARY and an AMY from BOA’s customers complaint department that BOA Is not required to tell the customer why they can add fees and cost to a mortguge.. When I asked them to review the documents I told the want because those documents are not part of the Billing histroy of the mortgage. What a joke. Shouldn’t all documents pretaining to a legal document/procining be viewable during a complaint. When I could not get an straight answer and ask these agents for there full name or their employee ID they just got very offenses and became rude and wanted to end the call. .
