I am a specially trained Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and am experienced in helping my clients with healing their emotional eating, eating disorder, and dissatisfaction with body image. I offer individual and group therapy, and together we collaborate to create a path of recovery. Even if you struggle with years of body image issues, we can help with the Better Body Esteem(R) program where you will greatly improve your confidence and self-esteem. Although counseling is an interactive process, the counseling hour is yours. It is about your personal growth and improved emotional and physical health.I use integrative psychotherapy and work with you as an individual. This means that there is not one plan or tool that is helpful for everyone. My strength is listening to what you are saying (and not saying), offering counsel, a plan for change, and view in a new light.I am a Florida Qualified Supervisor for Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns providing clinical supervision while accruing their hours. I am an Approved Supervisor for certification for the organization IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals), providing training and supervision to counselors throughout the United States.
